I can't recommend Daily Seafood enough. Every purchase confirms that they set the gold standard for freshness and quality. If you are looking for top-tier seafood, this is the only place to shop. My absolute favorite item from here is the crab (both Dungeness and the Wild Alaskan snow crab legs). It is consistently perfect, sweet, flaky, and exceptionally clean. Whether I'm buying whole legs or a container of picked meat, the quality is always five-star. The flavor truly tastes like it was just pulled from the ocean. ​Beyond the crab, I've had incredible experiences with both their red snapper and mussels. The red snapper is always pristine, and cooks up beautifully flaky every time. As for the mussels, they are plump, dirt-free, and consistently steam open perfectly. They make for an effortless and delicious weeknight meal. ​The combination of the superior product quality and the knowledgeable staff makes shopping here a pleasure. It's truly a gem for seafood lovers, and I highly encourage everyone to check it out!

Daily Seafood has been great for quality, but what’s really set the experience apart is Liban, the delivery driver. It’s rare to come across someone who consistently puts in this level of care. He calls ahead, makes sure timing works, and does everything he can to get the order to me in the best condition possible. That kind of attention is unusual these days, and it genuinely makes a difference. The seafood itself is excellent — always fresh, always reliable — but Liban’s approach takes the whole service up a notch. Daily Seafood is lucky to have him, and customers like me definitely notice.

Sigh. Another day, another fishy order from Daily Seafood. Look at the dark heads on these spot prawns! I wish I could transmit the smell through the screen. I've made several orders now, and every time I find myself praying it arrives okay, but I have received far too many orders that were just not safe and caused physical symptoms and I had to throw them out. Life is far too short to be playing diarrhoea roulette. The 3kg spot prawns came with a single ice pack but was not insulated at all. This is the last straw; I've wasted so much money gambling on Daily Seafood. I ordered spot prawns from another retailer and the frozen shrimp had pink heads with no fishy smell, so I know this isn't just "how it is". I will be moving on from this retailer.

had picked up a few products before and were good. But this was the first time ordered delivery for NY Eve- oysters, sea urchins and a few other products. The delivery was smooth, packaged well and the guy was great (dressed so classy!). anyway, the quality was excellent and fresh.

I ordered fresh salmon from New Zealand, sea urchin, and scallops from Daily Seafood Inc — everything arrived super fresh, as they where caught the same day! I’ve traveled and worked all over the world, and honestly, this is one of the best fish stores you’ll find in North America. Amazing quality and service, especially for Toronto. I’ll definitely keep getting my seafood from them!

Over the last 3 years I have ordered from this establishment. They say overnight delivery. Them being in Kitchener, and myself in Kingston, that should not be hard to do. The first time, the fish arrived spoiled due to a 'courier issue' and was refunded. The second time I ordered, hoping they had corrected the courier issue, which they said they 'changed couriers'. Again, the shipments was delayed 5 days!! They claimed it was weather related. Absolute nonsense. There was 1 day of snowy weather, not 5. Once again, I was refunded. The last time I ordered, they were selling Bluefin Tuna, my favorite, again, by the time the fish arrived, 4 days later, completely ruined. Thawed out completely and not safe for consumption. For a company that claims, overnight shipping, they did not live up to that. Also, the way the fish is packed, with only maybe 3 ice packs, certainly not enough to guarantee the fish will remain frozen, even if there was a 2 day window for delivery. Do better Daily Seafood.

I've been ordering from Daily Seafood for 5 years, and I've been very happy with everything I've ordered. They have a impressive selection of fish that no other fish store has, all of the highest quality, as well as items like seaweed salad from Japan. Their Icelandic cod and Icelandic arctic char are the best I've ever had, and I love their Scottish salmon and smoked salmon. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Daily Seafood.

I ordered after seeing some good photos in the reviews, but I was quite disappointed. First, the sashimi wasn’t very fresh. Second, the way the fish is weighed feels unclear—6oz should be 6, and 7oz should be 7, but listing it as 6–7oz makes it uncertain. The yellowtail I received was much smaller than the other fish, and when I checked later, it turned out to be only 5oz. Lastly, I ordered otoro, but what I received looked more like chutoro. I would recommend trying a different place instead.
