We had a lovely and delicious lunch here. The food was of high-quality and delicious. We had the traditional fish-steamed stew and the fish day. The Skyr dessert was light and refreshing, the perfect final. Even the butter and bread we received as appetizers were something else - never tasted such a good butter in a whole week we spent in Iceland. And the service, top. The gentlemen serving us were very polite, smiling, attentive to our table. Open for discussion. At the end, we were told that the whole menu is thought to be traditional. Almost everything is housemade (even the Skyr and sorbet) and after everything we have tasted in our trip, this place is our no.1 for delivering Icelandic food and atmosphere.

A must when in Iceland !!! A beautiful restaurant by the marina. Delicious fresh food, amazing service, really nice staff and hats off to the chef. We had the fish and chips, open beef steak sandwiches and the ice cream. I’m not a licorice fan but you have to try it, such a unique & delicate taste. We are going back for dinner before returning back home.

Loved this place so much went back again the next evening for dinner to try the Icelandic tasting menu. Every course was delicious-the lamb especially was the best! The owner explained each dish with real passion. It’s a small family run business and the quality of the food is excellent. Each bite was so flavourful! It’s located right next to the harbour so you have a good view of the ships. The bathroom is really clean and modern as well. The first evening we sat outside as it was ful inside but we had blankets provided and a heater above. A bit on the pricey side is the only downside but it is Iceland and everything is expensive there! Would definitely go back if I was there again!

Great spot right on the water with views of the harbor. Loved the cod and the fish stew with the little rye butter sandwiches, but the artic char was a little fishy. The service was excellent and overall we loved the experience. it was great spot for a dinner after a long day in the city.

Loved this place. From the first moment it was spot in. Very conveniently situated close to the harbor. The whole area is lovely. The staff was nice and attentive. There have plenty of choice but I think you can never go wrong with the catch of the day. The fish we had was delicious, nice balanced combination of flavours, well-paired with a cool glass of wine. For a dessert, I'd definitely recommend the one made from skyr, fruits and sorbet. So yummy, light and perfect ending to this great evening.

We ate here twice on a recent visit, the first time as it was just round the corner from our hotel. The staff were all fantastic, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was also excellent, we had the lamb shank and cod the first visit and the fish and chips and pulled pork taco the second. The portions were all generous! It's a great spot, overlooking the marina. Well worth a visit.

The welcome is really great, the staff is lovely, the food is very tasty, fresh and generous. The ice cream is to die for and the chocolate cake is excellent. Thank you again for this delicious moment.

Everyone was very polite, helpful and accommodating. I brought in my family of 12 at dinner time and they tried their absolute best to make sure we got seats as soon as they were available! We were also super happy with the food ( get the grilled prawn you have to) and the prices were very reasonable.
