Had a very tasty dinner last night at Surly's. Got a cool American feel atmosphere to the place and the staff were very welcoming, despite the name haha. I had the BBQ Meat platter for 1 which came with beef brisket, pork, smoked chicken wings and smoked sausage, as well as a generous serving of fries, pickles, slaw and bread. All the meat was very delicious, definitely the best meat was the beef brisket! So tasty! I really enjoyed the meal. It's a great casual place to come with friends and would also be good for bigger groups! They have a good range of beers as well. Definitely recommend popping in for some tasty BBQ meats!

Booked for my partner’s birthday dinner as he loves bbq places and this place was a hit. The vibes and service were immaculate. The food was good as well! The only negative was we thought the brisket tacos were a bit dry and could do with some more sauce. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese! It was so good we got a second helping. Def will come back!

The Chefs special pride burger slayed it! From the first bite, this burger came out loud, proud, and absolutely fabulous. The patty is juicy and confident, the toppings are bold and unapologetic, and the bun holds it all together like the ultimate supportive bestie. No mess, no drama, just pure flavour. This isn’t just a burger, it’s a celebration. It’s indulgent without being messy, fun without being try hard, and perfectly balanced kind of like the ideal Mardi Gras outfit: extra, but in the best possible way. Every bite felt like a mini parade in my mouth. Colourful. Joyful. Delicious. Iconic.

I've been curious with american food. And when i search google, it recommend me this place. I try their Mac n cheese. I will say so far it's the best. Add a bit of brisket on top, and it's perfect. Also i order their big platter. Tbh, i feel like the brisket a bit dry. Love the corn cake & chicken wings. Totally recommended! PS. I really really hope they have biscuit & gravy. I always curious with american biscuit & gravy. Pretty please.. make it in your menu.

On the wrong day to get the true feel of the place , but looks like a top venue to experience the Superbowl , Halloween or have a few drinks . Had the brisket Muffen that tasted funny but also had the Buffalo wings that were great . Staff were all pleasant and accomidating , venue interesting and clean .

What a bloody awesome experience! Dr Pepper being available was a huge win on its own but the amount of food you get for your money is outstanding! The brisket was absolutely to die for and get all that all on its own, the maple covered corn bread was also a favourite. Wish we our local BBQ place was as good as this back home, we’d be there every single week! Absolutely amazing all round, good job everyone!

The BBQ platter is generous and well-suited for sharing, with a good mix of meats covering the essentials. The mac and cheese works well as a side, adding a creamy contrast to the smoky flavours. There’s also a wide selection of beers and drinks available, making it an easy place to settle in for hearty food and a few drinks.

Tasty food with good vegetarian options as well. I really enjoyed the Alabama Burger with sweet potato patty and the hubby loved his meaty burger. Generous serving of fries on the side. Nachos with guacamole were the only average item: Nachos were crisp but guac too little :) Service was great, with every staff member very friendly and helpful. We’re definitely going back here.
