"Why we love it: A boutique stay that connects guests to all that’s cool in Tel Aviv The Highlights: - An industrial-chic design that highlights local artists - An in-house publication that points guests to hip happenings - A hot location surrounded by top restaurants and bars The Review: Just off the Bauhaus building–lined Rothschild Boulevard, at the intersection of the artsy Neve Tzedek and hipster Florentin neighborhoods, sits The Vera, a 1950s office building turned fashionable boutique hotel. Here, the 39 guestrooms ooze Tel Aviv cool with raw concrete floors, sleek lighting by Israeli designer Ohad Benit, and plenty of greenery, plus design-conscious amenities like organic toiletries from local brand Arugot and super-soft hooded robes in a soothing shade of grey. On every nightstand, there’s a copy of The Vera Magazine , a hip publication produced in partnership with local lifestyle magazine Telavivian that details fun activities and offerings around the city. Guests can also turn to the hotel’s friendly, knowledgeable staff for recommendations on trendy restaurants, bars, or galleries in the area (renowned eatery North Abraxas is right across the street) or explore on their own with complimentary house bikes. Back on site, spacious communal areas make for cozy spots to unwind. The lobby features a Brooklyn-style tin ceiling, a bar with craft cocktails, and a wine vending machine that dispenses local bottles. Guests can choose to eat their daily breakfast—complete with plenty of seasonal produce—here, on the outdoor patio, or up on the two-level rooftop, where tastefully placed planters and sleek furniture complement city views. The rooftop is also a great place sunset cocktails, and even hosts morning yoga and Pilates classes."

Great Hotel & Nir is the best!|From the moment we arrived (earlier in the morning, hours before check-in time) Nir at the reception was kind and ready to welcome us. Thank you Nir for your kindness throughout our stay at the Vera hotel. |Tip: Ask Nir for food/coffee recommendations. We loved every place that he told us about! Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help or tips for the best ways to get around the city or reach your destination. There are several different neighborhoods and markets to explore that are walking distance and Nir directed us on how to arrive to where we wanted to go and saved us a lot of time. Also, he told us about places we might like to explore and we really enjoyed them. Everyone there is very nice; Anna and Vera were also wonderful to us. Also, thank you to Vera for making us a last minute dinner reservation.||The hotel itself is really nice and we greatly appreciated the little details such as the fully equipped coffee machine and delicious teas that are available all the time in the reception area. (Along with the wine) We also enjoyed playing their backgammon one evening. As everyone has mentioned, the breakfast is great. The location of the hotel is wonderful. We really enjoyed getting to use the bikes one day to go to the beach! Just know that the bikes are popular with guests and unfortunately they aren’t always available. || This hotel checks all the boxes. I would definitely stay here again!

The Vera hotel is excellent for a fraction of the cost of the competition you get a full and diverse breakfast a very nice and functional room while still being only a few blocks from the beach and 20mins from the central train station. And the staff are incredible, with endless recommendations and are open to any questions you may have of the local scenery or restaurants.

I had a fantastic experience at The Vera hotel in Tel Aviv! This hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and sparkling clean, which I always appreciate. The lobby was very good, and having a few different sitting areas was a nice touch. The highlight for me was the breakfast – it was absolutely amazing with a fantastic selection! The location is also top-notch, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city although very loud during the night. My only reservation, is the size of the rooms. They are quite small, and the shower is particularly tiny. Furthermore, the bathroom offers almost no privacy, which can be a bit awkward. If you're comfortable with a compact living space and minimal bathroom privacy, then The Vera is an excellent choice for its cleanliness, food, and unbeatable location

We loved our stay at the Vera Hotel! Very clean, great service, delicious (healthy) breakfast. The locations is amazing, 10 min walk to the beach, short walk from all the fun. Open wine bar was a plus, we enjoyed going up to the rooftop. Would recommend!

This place is all about getting the important things right. Organic products in the bathroom, no plastic, recyclable products, delicious, high quality and wholesome food, great artwork on the walls, etc. The rooms are small though, with very little space to move around the bed.

The Vera in Tel Aviv is a boutique hotel with an unbeatable location, right in the heart of the city. The staff are exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious, fresh, and very affordable, and the beautiful rooftop garden is the perfect spot to relax. Guests also enjoy free coffee, tea, and wine all day, a thoughtful touch. Two things to keep in mind. Rooms are on the smaller side. We did not really have too much space with the two suitcases in the room. Also, although the location is great, if you stay there over the weekend, it is right in the nightlife district of the city and extremely loud until about 5 o’clock in the morning. We had trouble sleeping

I made a reservation for this year for a return stay at The Vera. Unfortunately, my scheduled arrival date was Jun 13, 2025 through June 23, 2025. I was to fly into Tel Aviv that afternoon. I had gotten to CDG Paris and went to connect with El Al for the afternoon flight to Tel Aviv from Paris. Sadly, all the monitors in the airport showed 'Annulle' (cancelled). All commercial flights were cancelled because of expanded warfare. I returned home from Paris that day. As soon as I could I tried to contact The Vera to request cancellation of the reservation as soon as I could. I sought a refund from The Vera and discovered they have an intervening agent "Guest Reservations" whom I was directed to contact. I contacted them and requested a refund for the visit. They sought my proofs. So, I sent them My ticket reservation and the dates to be spent at The Vera. They acknowledged my cancellation on Jun 15, 2025. After repeated emails, they said that they couldn't do anything for me. They said only the hotel could help me. The airport was closed to commercial traffic thru my entire planned visit. I directly contacted the hotel, but they refused my refund request. They kept all of my money.
