This was the meal I looked forward to the most during my special time in the old quarter. The wide variety of food was incredibly fresh, accompanied by an array of sauces crafted by the chef, each bursting with flavor. The standout for me was the grilled squids marinate with olive oil— so fragrant and delicious. What I loved most was the black draft beer. It wasn’t just about tasty; instead, it featured some flavors — sweet, and slightly bitter on a nice balcony in a spring evening. Not expensive prices. It was an exceptionally delicious experience, and I highly recommend it!

If you've been eating Vietnamese food for two weeks and you come to this place, it's like you've arrived in paradise. Hanoi is not famous for the abundance of different national cuisines, so it was a special pleasure to find a German-Czech restaurant where you can buy both pilsner urquell and dark beer. Of course, European places are more expensive than 1 euro pho or fried rice, but 10 euro for schnitzel seems very fair. Absolutely love this place. Small note: it would be nice if the waiters could speak a little more English.

(September 2023) The prices are insanely high for what you get but I will admit that the food we tried was good. I was born and raised in Slovakia and we share the love for beer, schnitzel and fried cheese with Czechia. Serving the schnitzel (242k VND) and fried cheese (192k VND) with a SINGLE BOILED POTATO (not even chopped) and three chunks of tomato is just sad 😫 The cheese and schnitzel tasted pretty good and so did the “Russian salad”, which we thankfully ordered as a side dish. Before entering this restaurant, I imagined having a conversation with the staff about how excited we were to finally eat “Czechoslovak” food after 4 months of being away from home but the reality was different, the staff didn’t bother to ask us how we enjoyed the food and basically didn’t care about us at all, even though the restaurant was completely empty. Oh well 🙃 We paid nearly 700k VND 🤯

Czech beer bia hoi with very good atmosphere. The taste of beer is good. The interior is stylish and I would like to visit again on a hot beer day.

For the first time experience, it was wow. They brew their beer, fresh, cold and satisfied, on site. And that was an impression. The next impression is that they dry their beef there, all good cuts. And they're selling them with a real good price, hard to find in Vietnam, that's another impression.

Merry atmosphere. Quite full for lunch hour. Good mixture of western and Vietnamese food

Nice Czech restaurant with a great beer and traditional Czech liquor selection. As a Czech guy, I can't appreciate a place like that enough. Pros: Czech options on the menu, nice and fast service, authentic vibe and decorations Cons: vietnamese dishes are more on the pricier side, lack of veggies, could have more Czech non-fried options too.
