"Gifts Galore at Mio It all started with thebottle of organic argan oil that Antje d’Almeida, the owner of Mio, boughton a trip to Morocco. The silky, scent-free oil was too good not to share, so she opened a shop and started selling italongside an eclectic, continually evolving selection of housewares, uniquedesign pieces, funky and chunky jewelry, and original, affordable gifts from across the globe. A percentage of the profits goes back into community projects, so your money is doing good too."
Such a cute concept store.
True local crafts.
I bought a couple of hand made sunglasses and earrings.
The owner is very nice. She told me she sources her products even from university students to support them.
Such a nice lady and beautiful store!

Glad that I got to visit the store before leaving the city. Definitely the cutest store in town, wide range of selection and every piece brings me joy. If you are looking for something unique, creative and affordable, this place is a must go! The owner is very sweet and helpful, thanks for the great experience!

This was the best store we found in Florence for authentic and unique items. Highly recommend to visit. Local and one of a kind items at very affordable prices. We learned of the local street artists she supports and purchased two original art pieces by Kraita317. You can see his art along the alley ways while walking around Florence. Owner was great and kind!

Super cute shop with nice items, with a balance of pricey and not pricey items. I like this store more than their other location. The music was also good so it added to the experience plus the staff was such a sweet lady who helped us.

I found this store while walking by at night, and it immediately caught my eye! The store features a myriad of local artists. My backpack was full, and I really couldn’t afford to buy much there, but I had to purchase some small items just to support the store. The two ladies working there were really friendly and a little out of it—but in a totally good way! If I wasn’t traveling by foot and train, I definitely would have bought half the store...

Wonderful store with tons of creative work, art, and jewelry from local artists. I got some cool sunglasses and a less touristy fridge magnet. Consider supporting this store before going to a more touristy one!

Great little Shop for getting special and beautiful souvenirs or presents (big and small) from Florence, made by local artists. WAY BETTER than the typical always-the-same stuff you can get everywhere else! And a very friendly and helpful owner :)

Loved this place! Whenever I travel I always try to seek out stores that sell goods from local artisans and this was it for Florence! Ended up coming back twice to get more, such a great find!

Yelp
My family and I stopped by this boutique art and craft shop and absolutely loved all of the small and packable trinkets and souvenirs we could find that had a truly local Florentine vibe. Most sourvenir shops sell miniature David's and things that all reference Florence by name. This shop sells items that are the soul of Florence. We ended up buying much more than we thought as the items "spoke to us".
It's worth a few minutes of your time if your in the area.

Yelp
Mio sells unique designer gifts, from jewelry to scarves and bags.
A well-curated selection of very cool things unlike the rest and made in Italy designs. A true find in Florence. Very helpful and enthusiastic!
