"A Beautiful Historic Cafe in Florence Paszkowski's historic interior was originally founded in 1848 in what is now Piazza della Repubblica in the center of Florence . A great place to stop for a hot chocolate, espresso, or one of the cafe's beautiful sweet treats, Paszkowski not only reflects the city's history but also is a place where fancy locals still gather."

It's a lively cafe with a beautiful interior, so I recommend sitting inside. The service was nothing special but it wasn't horrible like other reviews have stated. The servers were attentive and kind enough to give us a seat next to the window so we could people watch while enjoying the view of the piazza. I especially enjoyed the Paszkowski banana and chantilly cake, it was really good. It had the right amount of sweetness without being overly sugary. The banana slices were very yummy. The cappuccino came with a little dark chocolate (house brand). The only thing I would not recommend is the matcha latte, I was curious and shouldn't have drank matcha here when Italy is known for coffee. Lol.

By far the best croissants/cornetto in Florence! The chocolate cream was rich and generous. The skin of the croissants were flaky and the inside soft and buttery. Go to caffe Gilli beside for cappuccino though - tried the coffee here twice and while it’s decent, it lacks the crema so desired in a cuppa.

We were welcomed by Pierluigi and Francisco, very professional and attentive staff. Amazing place and Great coffee, tea, and cakes. We’ve been here twice and definitively will come back again! Thanks again Pierluigi & Francisco

Great location and nice to sit outside and look at the square. I think we were unlucky with service and business. We were waiting for 20min just get menu. Also a beautiful live music happens in the evening. Interesting to see polish name in the center of Florence but not sure its worth it

Pleasant experience with live music during dinner time, opens till late. The food was ok, beautifully prepared and presented. Gnocchi’s highly recommended, the baked salmon’s also quite tasty. Dessert’s not too impressive but ok.

Beautiful place in the center of Florence. However, the staff were quite arrogant (except for one gentleman) and seemed uninterested in the guests. Despite there being only a few tables and plenty of staff, we constantly had to ask for someone to come to our table (for example, when our glasses were empty, etc.). At these prices, the service should be impeccable. It seemed that the staff only paid attention to people they already knew or regular customers.

Great experience for a lunch. Pizza and salads are unique, fresh, and you must try their homemade ice tea! Waiters Ardit and Gigi were very hospitable and fun to have while we stayed. Would come back again and again. The view was great in the square

I was recommended this cafe by The Tour Guide channel. Overall I found it to be average. The coffee was fine, nothing special. I enjoyed the small snacks provided upon sitting. The biggest problem was the service which was a total mess. Inside we tried to order drinks and cakes and were told to go outside. Outside we waited for a seat and nobody came. Eventually we sat and tried to wave down a waiter and multiple times we were told that the waiter would serve us eventually. Finally they came and took the order and to almost no surprise; they brought us the wrong drinks. This was just a case of poor service and we felt like we were passed from person to person.
