Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel

Stayed overnight and found it to be great value. Our room was small but it was so clean and welcoming that I didn't mind the close quarters. The staff were perfectly polite, and the breakfast was impressively well-organised. It’s a solid spread, too—they even had black pudding and haggis, which really covers all the essentials. A good stay all around, and I’d certainly stay again.

My Mum and I recently spent 3 nights at The Grosvenor Hotel. We had a family room (room 314) and it was exactly what we needed. Room was clean and spacious enough. We’d requested a fan which was in the room upon arrival. The bathroom was a great size. Buffet breakfast at the restaurant was good, good selection of food and it was tasty. We had dinner at Bo’Vine on our last night and it was nice but there are so many great places to eat nearby. We had a wonderful Indian at Bantawala by Masala one night - food was delicious and staff were so friendly. Tom on reception at The Grosvenor was so friendly and helpful. He is a great asset to the place. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely cosy and clean hotel with the reception area decorated tastefully for Christmas. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable bed overlooking the Botanic Gardens. Breakfast lovely too with good choice. Location is great for the west end. Will definitely book again.

The hotel is in the perfect location. Nice rooms and comfy beds. No mini fridge unfortunately, but there's tea and coffee making facilities and a couple of biscuits. Also an iron and ironing board, TV and safe. The top of the wardrobe had the thickest dust I've ever seen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar is very expensive. Parking on the top floor of the multi storey above waitrose is very reasonable. Just give the car registration to reception. If you dont take the botanical garden view, then you're overlooking the air con on the roof. So shut the curtains.

My wife and I had a one night stay as we were attending a wedding in the city. The hotel is well situated in the west end of the city with lots of nearby restaurants with student offers and competitive prices. The hotel was lovely especially on a bitterly cold day as it was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and had plenty of towels and shampoo etc in the bath/shower. We had the breakfast as part of our stay and it was the usual fare well cooked and presented,. So all in all a good experience for not much more than a premier inn

The Grosvenor was a lovely hotel to stay in, we booked via itison and received a free welcome drink which was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable. The check in process was very easy. The only downfall was the toilet which appeared to have some mould around the shower/shower curtain.

My wife and i stayed friday till monday . Firstly .Room was adequate . Dirty curtains but decent overall. Quite noisy with guests till early hours but not a big deal. Staff were awesome . Always attentive . Location perfect for nightlife and socialising

We arrived to zero drinks or canopes despite the tickets saying both would be provided. It was 3000oC and everyone was crammed in. The teenage staff ran out with 3 bottles and boxes of glasses to a very disappointed crowd, who were understandably annoyed and were told that’s all you’re getting. They then served my friend, with a deadly allergy, food that contained the allergen! When we explained they could have killed her, they made us feel at fault! We pre-ordered wine that wasn’t on the table and had to ask for that was warm. It had been ordered in person a week in advance, and the allergen had been explained a week before too! We were there for Hogmanay and left at 11 to bring the bells in at home, the manager asked us how our night was as we left and we honestly said it’s not been good, he then followed us shouting at us and being very aggressive. An absolutely shambolic show of “hospitality”. The “entertainment” was also dreadful and there was no space on the dance floor for the amount of people. It used to be a Hilton, but it’s very obviously not one any more! An embarrassing state of affairs and a dreadful experience all round. They need to have a strong word with themselves and sort out the dire situation.
