These guys are amazing! I cannot recommend them enough, the wine selection is awesome and the customer service is outstanding! We were looking for a wine for my mother-in-law and they let us try a couple different ones. We got several great recommendations within our budget and love the wine we picked. They are very knowledgeable, went above and beyond what we could have asked, and were extremely helpful.

Great wine shop, with an excellent and knowledgeable staff. The tasting experience was included in the price of our case orders and was an awesome way to explore Argentine wines and get a sense for what other wines we might like. Eliana was an outstanding guide and is a sommelier, which really helped us narrow down which wines we liked. The ordering process was also very smooth. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy wine in and from Argentina.

While strolling through the area, we discovered this beautiful wine shop and decided to step inside. From the moment we entered, Fernando warmly welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. With limited knowledge of Malbec wines and the nuances between regions, we asked for his guidance. Without hesitation, he began sharing his expertise, thoughtfully explaining the various styles and regional expressions with remarkable depth. Fernando then invited us to enjoy a curated tasting, and once he understood our palate, he expanded the experience to include additional selections. His knowledge was matched by his generosity—opening bottles of higher-end, more complex Malbecs to allow us to fully appreciate the range and sophistication of their offerings. We were so impressed that we ultimately purchased a full case of wine to take back to the United States. Fernando carefully selected twelve exceptional bottles tailored perfectly to our tastes. He even offered to have the wines professionally wrapped and delivered to our hotel, which was done promptly that same evening. As avid wine enthusiasts who have visited vineyards around the world, we can confidently say that the level of service and attention we received here was unparalleled. The shop also offers shipping to the U.S., and Fernando provided his contact information so we can continue enjoying these wines long after our visit.

This place is awesome! We found this place at the tail end of a trip to Argentina. We spent a week in Mendoza and this shop had many of the great wines we tasted, plus many we hadn't yet. They were very kind about letting try wines and we were able to pick up a case to bring back home. Francisco was extremely knowledgeable!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Fran was an incredible host to us on our trip and accommodated a special tasting for us that we are so grateful for. The 6pm tasting also looked incredible and my group was a bit poor at planning ahead, so for JA! to accommodate our schedule for this unique tasting experience truly meant the world to us. We loved learning about Salta from Francisco and will definitely be back again next week to get more great wines. Thank you for having us and see you again!

I spent a great time at JA! A local wine merchant having a wine tasting. The place has an incredible selection and deep knowledge in the local and international wines. Loved it. A great way to spend the afternoon.

I started dating this girl in my tango class and -- totally on a whim -- invited her to go to Buenos Aires with me. (I think I was drunk.) That's not as surprising as this: she said yes. (Apparently she was also drunk.) So there we were in Buenos Aires looking for a little wine tasting. I read up on a few tasting rooms and decided to give JA! a spin. Boy, am I glad we did. This place was rocking. So first we hit the original shop. We sampled a few wines and thought about our options. The staff here is amazing btw. Great source of vino knowledge. Friendly. Personable. Really outstanding. After learning TONS about the Argentina wine scene, we signed up for the tasting which is done at 5pm at their OTHER location. (It's a block or two away.) We wandered over and met the 7 others in the tasting with us. It was a bit awkward meeting new people at first but after drinking a little wine, we really hit our groove. What a great group of new friends. Walter was our host, and he couldn't have been more charming. He really pulled out all the stops to make sure we had fun. Great wines and a sample of hams and cheeses towards the end. This place was simply awesome. If you want to learn about wine and taste a variety of Argentina's best grape juices, this is the place to do it.

The best wine tasting in BA. The owner is well wine educated. Gave us a lots of tips about how to pick the wine from Argentina. He make us felt like drinking at home. It's so relaxing with no pressure. We bought 6 bottles and we open 2 there and drink with owner Mr. Joaquin. He make us felt so comfortable and at the end of the night we agree this is the best wine tasting experience that we ever had. Not surprisingly.. We stop by the day after, before we head to the airport to say good bye. A few tip! Walk in.. Relax.. Taste Melbec first then start it from there...good luck

Great place to find the best of Argentina wines. Very knowledgable staff. English and French speaking staff.

My wife and I stopped by Saturday evening hoping to have a wine tasting. We were told we had to buy wine to taste it, that the establishment was not a bar (which we knew and did not expect), and that there is no wine tasting. This was all in spanish (which I speak), the staff did not speak English. I have no idea why this business gets positive reviews.
