"Muzzicuni, Leith. Alain wanted to bring his authentic, original Sicilian street food to Edinburgh, knowing once people tried it they’d be hooked. Customers come for the Arancino (deep-fried risotto stuffed with mozzarella) and once they’ve tasted this, they return for the pizza and the cannoli.Alain’s favourite is the Rustico – stuffed with fried aubergines. Although this reviewer is enamored with the Arancino Al Ragu – bursting with a bolognese sauce.Everything is made fresh from scatch, every day. It’s a small place with a just a few tables to sit-in, while also being a decent option to grab a take away."

the classic Italian small "tavola calda" with Sicilian delicacies. caution!!! It can cause dependence !!! The owners are very nice and the prices are super honest! Grazie a prestissimo

This place is pleasant surprise. I tried various types of arancino, the omelette and pasta and everything was delicious. The friendly and very kind owners made me feel at home. They will probably also offer a home delivery service! I recommend it to all those who want to try good Italian street food, cheap and healthier than many other things that you usually eat.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Owners are as lovely as the food is! Only tried Sicilian arancini so far (pistachio ones if still available it is a must try and ragù ones are just delicious), will definitely be going back to try the rest :p Best wee “tavola calda”/ street food place in Edinburgh!! The best place where, in Edinburgh, you can find yourself in an authentic Italian 'tavola calda'. The food is great, and also the atmosphere is the one we tend to miss abroad. If you're unsure on what to get, just ask for suggestions and have a chat with the owners - true Sicilian people and very friendly

Great sicilian experience. Come here for authentic and delicious food, for a good price. I really recommend to try an arancino, as Alan says:”it’s the king of Catania!”. Also one of the few proper espressos in Edinburgh!
