"In the heart of the village is the famous Dog & Fox pub, the perfect pitstop after walking down the steep hill from the courts. Things get lively in the evening and it’s been known to attract some famous tennis faces dancing on the tables."

Held a wedding reception there. Brilliant communication and staff were really friendly and helpful. Was was great for the quantity served and came better than expected. Manager couldn't do enough for everyone. When are bar only however some staff a little slow and 'offish'.

Had a great stay for 3 nights while working away from my usual office. This pub and hotel is full of character, making it a great venue for a relaxing drink or for dinner. The food was excellent and my room was lovely too. Would definitely stay here again. Only reason I gave 4 stars for location is that’s it a walk up a fairy steep hill from Wimbledon tube and train station.

Brilliant hotel. The room with terrace is amazing and very quiet despite being in the centre of Wimbledon village. I'm on the 1st floor and can't here anything from the pub downstairs. Thank you to the staff who were so friendly and welcoming on arrival. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for the wedding of our close friends who were getting married there. Phil, Eddie and the team were outstanding from start to finish. The rooms are amazing and the food outstanding. All the team worked tirelessly and nothing was an problem to arrange and sort. Thanks to everyone there for an amazing stay and many memories made. I stay at the Dog & Fox every couple months or so on business, and it's my 'go-to' hotel in Wimbledon.||As you would expect, tennis is a theme throughout the hotel. However, the rooms are individually designed and of various shapes and sizes which makes a nice change from the box room hotels of the major brands that I often use.||I find the beds are really comfy and the bathrooms are great. WiFi throughout the hotel seems to be no problem either.||The breakfast options are great - I always go for the Eggs Benny - and there's an abundant supply of pastries, juice and hot drinks.||The staff team are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all very friendly.||In all, I can't recommend the Dog & Fox enough. It's ideally located in the middle of the village and not too far a walk from the train station

Our wedding at the Dog & Fox was an unforgettable experience — the venue, the staff, and the atmosphere were all incredible. Our wedding co-ordinator, Riley, was so calm, patient and professional. Over our 12 months of planning, Riley was reliable and helpful. With every idea, change of plan and panic Riley did her upmost to help in any way she could. The hotel reception team, Hadi and Kelcy, were also super helpful with last minute changes and making sure all our family and friends were happy and comfortable in their rooms. The rooms are all full of character, comfy and big! All our guests commented on their room and how much they enjoyed their stay. The icing on their hotel stay was the breakfast which was so yummy. Holly and her team made amazing food throughout our stay and it was great to work directly with Holly when planning our wedding breakfast too. Holly’s attention to detail was amazing, including how our GF bridesmaid could be taken care of too. The food was complimented by Alfie’s impressive knowledge of wine! We enjoyed spending time with Alfie who explained the different wines we could chose from and what would compliment the food we had chosen for our meals. ‘Dream Team’ doesn’t begin cover it. I think there’s assumptions around customer care of wedding experience when it comes to choosing a pub for a wedding venue but this couldn’t have been disproven more. Any thing we needed, the team wanted to help. We received 10/10 customer service which was headed up by the lovely Phil and his right hand pup - Eddie. All the staff we came into contact with, from the housekeeping team to bar staff, were friendly, upbeat and wanted to help and this is down to the way Phil (and Eddie) run the pub. I throughly enjoyed working with all the team and if you’re considering getting married at the Dog & Fox - do it!

I recently had to find an emergency accommodation for elderly guests and I phoned the hotel and Julie understood the situation right away and reserved the room. They have lifts/elevators so it’s perfect for people with mobility issues. The room was bright, brilliantly decorated and even had a little balcony. Extremely clean, beautifully designed, with the most wonderful staff one could ask for. Check in and check out process was smooth and seamless. Julie & Hadi were the best. Can’t wait to be back.

This time we (mother&daughter) decided to not stay in central London, but try a different location when we looked for a nice place to stay.||We enjoyed to discover Wimbledon village: It was easy to go to London with public transport (despite the strike) and we truly enjoyed being back at the Dog&Fox in the evening in a very comforting and relaxed setting.||The room was great (enough space and a very nice bathroom!) and beautifully furnished.||We had dinner in the pub a couple times and loved it - another night we just went down for a last drink and a small snack which was also perfect!||We even prolonged the stay. We will certainly come back - to the Dog&Fox, but we also have some appetite to try their hotels on the countryside.
