Their flat white is honestly unmatched. It’s perfectly balanced, creamy, and consistently excellent. They also offer great specialty drinks that feel thoughtful, not gimmicky. The vibe is exactly what you want from a neighborhood café: cozy, inviting, and always pleasant to spend time in. The baristas are skilled, friendly, and clearly love what they do. A place you instantly want to come back to. Happy that found a good coffee place near by…

Cute place with a neat breakfast menu. The service is nice and the helpings are generous and their desserts are good. Unfortunately the food I had was not that tasty. The manager offered me a full refund backing their standards and offered me a chance to try it again. I will update that when I do. They have a neat rewards program that you can build up to earn a free sandwich or drink. Both take away and dine in are offered. The indoor area is a bit small but neat and nicely decorated. There is a few small tables outdoors on the street as well.

Went in with my GF and got an iced vanilla latte, an iced mocha and a couple of Carmelo’s sandwiches. The coffee is the best in Brooklyn. As a coffee snob this is a serious statement. The sandwiches were also ridiculously delicious. If you like great coffee/food/service this place is for you.

Hey friends, I wanted to share about this little gem that I found @HeadrestCoffee! Wow wow wow!! We were greeted by Dimitri (I hope I didn’t mess up the spelling , sorry lol) but he was totally amazing! He made us some delicious drinks and treated us like family! We loved the vibe, felt the Love through his kindness and also through the artsy yummy drinks. We def recommend this unique lil spot full of life(live beautiful plants), cozy setting and cool merch for purchase. I hope you visit them soon and let’s all support small businesses. I love headrest!!! They have the most lovely selection of delicious drinks, foods, desserts—especially their peanut butter cookies!!! So good. Lily is the sweetest ever! They always take care of us when we come in and I couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood coffee shop!

This review is about sustainability! Thank you for offering real, reusable mugs and plates to your patrons. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and over 95% of the plastic that we produce and consume, does not actually get recycled, but instead ends up in landfills, waterways, or burned in incinerators. It means a lot to me to support local businesses that are helping to mitigate our plastic pollution crisis, by offering the dignity of a real mug. So thank you for providing this option, and for communicating it to your customers by asking if they will be having their beverage to stay. And thank you for the delicious cappuccino! I wonder if you would consider an alternative to serving and selling plastic bottled water, perhaps worth looking into. By now there are at least some better options like aluminum cans or glasses. Which can be infinitely recycled for real. Thank you for your consideration!

Incredible coffee, cozy place, lots of plants!!! The staff are exceptionally warm & gentle even at their busiest. The food has no business being as good as it is. Nowhere I’d rather go in the neighborhood for a pick-me-up :)

Headrest Coffee is an absolute gem. The coffee is consistently amazing—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which makes the experience even better. You can really feel the quality in every cup. Highly recommend this place if you appreciate great coffee and great vibes

Such a fun menu and unique drinks! I got the sunrise moonrise drink with blood orange tonic and it's incredibly refreshing. I love a good creative menu, and their sandwiches look great too. Note: it's a pretty small spot with limited seating (~7 people) and no bathroom!

I was pleasantly surprised by everything I had here! The Peachy matcha latte was not too sweet and had the perfect balance of fruity peach and matcha. The Jefferson Ave (salmon lox) bagel with gluten-free bagel was so delicious. I was so excited to hear they have gluten free bagels because of my newly discovered GF intolerance so finding a good GF bagel was golden!! The barista working this day was so incredibly nice and sweet! and handled the incoming crowd with all the food and drinks orders with ease. Solid spot in Bushwich!!

For a few weeks in the dark winter months, Headrest was my religious go-to coffee spot in the mornings. No other spot makes quad-shot lattes around here the way they do. The latte is naturally incredibly strong and the hallmark of a good cafe for me is creativity with seasonal lattes and they have many to choose from. Strawberries with espresso, amazing. Peanut butter lattes, fantastic. Caramel that still allows for the espresso flavor to come through, wonderful. A good place to get a gift card and present to a friend if you want to gift good coffee. The aesthetic inside is also what I want my personal living room to look like. (And you can bring part of it home by purchasing their posters or mugs and get a free drink of any size to go with it!)

I saw this coffee shop had the best review on google maps so I decided to check it out. I got the lovers latte which had peanut butter flavor which is always my speed. It looked great and was decently priced as well. They have a lot of latte flavors and most of them looked pretty good

Their drinks are delicious! So good I went twice to dry another specialty drink. I loved the horror themed menu! I was bummed I didn't have the opportunity to try the food before it sold out- but them selling out quickly speaks for itself. The staff was so friendly and the interior is so lively. The live plants and greenery really made the space feel so open and welcoming.

A really great little coffee shop. I love using it as a place to meet up with friends and chat not a lot of room for Laptop work but still a really great place to read a book or chat with friends. They always put a lot of heart and quality into their cups.

Great locally sourced coffee, but don't expect a warm interaction. The baristas tend to be cold and defensive. I've had a few interactions that felt unnecessarily rude.Wish the vibe matched the quality of the drinks.

The iced coffee was absolutely amazing--perfectly brewed, smooth, and refreshingly bold!
