Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi

I had an incredible visit to Yas Waterworld recently; it was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Abu Dhabi. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish, and I honestly cannot think of a water park I’ve enjoyed more. First and foremost, I must give a shout-out to the staff. Every single team member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. It really made our day, as they seemed to care about our enjoyment. I’ve found this to be a consistent theme across all of Yas Island's theme parks, so they are clearly doing something right! The park itself is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and looks amazing. There were so many slides and rides to enjoy, but the standouts were the Al Falaj Race (a high-speed racing slide), the thrilling Falcon’s Falaj raft ride, and the brilliant Slither’s Slides, which offer a whole host of different experiences. The park's new area was impressive too, featuring several thrilling additions including Bahamut Rage, a water coaster with a huge splash at the end. Bandit Bomber was another unique highlight - a suspended roller coaster providing spectacular views over the park. The food and drink offerings were very good, and I have to say, the Tiramisu I had was sensational, easily as good as those I’ve had in Italy! A few bits of advice for your visit: arrive as early as possible, as it gets much busier as the day progresses. I’d also suggest heading to the slides at the back of the park first and working your way forward. We found the back was quieter in the morning, while the rides at the front tended to quieten down later in the afternoon. Overall, I had an exceptional visit. The rides were great fun and there were plenty of sunbeds for relaxing between attractions. I would highly recommend a visit; you’re sure to have a brilliant day.

I had such an amazing experience at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi! One of the things I loved the most was how empty the park was when I visited it felt like I had the whole place to myself. I didn’t have to wait in line for any of the slides, which made the day so relaxing and fun. Being able to go on ride after ride without queues was honestly the best feeling. The park itself is huge, and there are so many different slides, attractions, and areas to explore. Whether you want something thrilling or something more laid-back, there’s truly something for everyone. I was really impressed by how well maintained the entire place is. Everything was spotless, and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Every interaction I had with them was positive, and they really added to the overall experience. Another thing that stood out was the water it was pleasantly warm, which made every ride and pool even more enjoyable. Overall, Yas Waterworld is such a fun and refreshing place to spend the day. I had an unforgettable time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi!

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is an absolutely fantastic waterpark, and even though I’ve visited bigger waterparks around the world, this one still deserves a full 5-star rating for its overall experience, organization, and the noticeable improvements they continue to make year after year. What makes it stand out isn’t size — it’s how clean, smooth, and well-managed everything is from the moment you walk in. One of the first things I noticed is how updated and refreshed the park looks. Many areas have clearly been upgraded — brighter colours, cleaner pools, improved shading, and more comfortable seating zones for relaxing. The slides feel well-maintained, the water temperature is perfect, and the entire park looks polished and taken care of. Even the small details, like locker efficiency and staff coordination, show how much effort the team puts into giving guests a seamless experience.The variety of rides is excellent. Whether you enjoy high-adrenaline slides or more relaxing attractions, there’s something for everyone. Dawwama, the giant tornado slide, remains a must-try — the drop, the spin, and the funnel are always exciting. The Bandit Bomber roller-coaster-style ride feels smoother compared to before and gives amazing views of the whole park. Family raft rides, the wave pool, body slides, tube slides, and the lazy river are all very well maintained and enjoyable. Even during busy times, the lines move quickly thanks to good organization by the staff.The kids’ areas look upgraded too, with brighter paint, fresh water features, and softer safety flooring. It’s a great place for families, and the lifeguards are alert and professional everywhere, making the environment feel very safe. One thing I really appreciate is the cleanliness of the entire park. From the pools to the pathways to the dining areas, everything is consistently spotless. The food options have also improved — better menus, more shaded seating, and faster service. Whether you want something quick or a full meal, the options are convenient and reasonably priced for a theme park. Customer service deserves a special mention. Staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. They guide guests clearly, manage lines well, and maintain a positive atmosphere throughout the park. Even simple things like setting up life jackets, giving directions, or helping with lockers are handled with professionalism and kindness. Because the park is fully outdoors, the improved shading and cooling areas make a big difference, especially on hotter days. There are more places to relax, refill water, and take breaks between rides. Everything is designed to make the day comfortable from start to finish. Location-wise, being on Yas Island is perfect — easy parking, clean surroundings, and the option to combine the day with other attractions like Warner Bros. World or Ferrari World. Overall, Yas Waterworld might not be the biggest waterpark I’ve ever visited, but it is definitely one of the most enjoyable and well-run. The upgrades, cleanliness, friendly staff, and ride quality make it a top choice for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi. A full day here feels refreshing, fun, and genuinely worthwhile. Highly recommended for families, tourists, groups of friends, and anyone looking for a great day out.

We had an amazing time at Yas Waterworld with our family. The park is full of adventurous and exciting rides that kept everyone entertained throughout the day. There are plenty of options for thrill-seekers as well as fun and safe rides for kids. What we really appreciated is that the kids’ areas have proper age and height limits, which made the experience feel safe and well-organized. The atmosphere was lively, the rides were well maintained, and there was something enjoyable for every age group. Overall, it was a fantastic family outing, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for families looking for fun, adventure, and great memories together.

Our family loves this park. We have visited it many times since 2019. Staff is great and wellcoming, rides are fun and the park has gone through some major developments since last visit. Went today with my children. No waiting time for the rides. The water is heated in most of the pools (only Dawwama and Bahamuth’s fury gave chills with cold water). The new area was super nice! With annual pass (gold) you get -25% discount for food. Food was served mainly in plastic free containers, which was great. Only lids for the drinks seemed to be plastic ones.

The dolphins perform with such elegance and intelligence that you can’t help but be amazed. However, the show only takes place at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, so plan your visit carefully to avoid missing it. Don’t skip the “Ride Under the Sea” — it’s an exciting and immersive journey that gives you the feeling of exploring the ocean depths. Overall, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offers something special for everyone — families, couples, and adventure seekers alike.
