Bahama Hand Prints

I was lucky today to catch their End of Summer Sale. Beautiful purses, beach bags, shorts, beach wear, dresses, men’s and boys shirts and children’s clothes. Their prints are made on site and you can watch them in action upstairs. It is a bougie store but we’ll worth every dollar spent. The finishing is excellent on everything they make and I near forgot you can by their tropical hand printed material by the yard. It looks just as great hanging on your wall as it does covering your favorite chair.

Beautiful original printed fabric. Also has some ready made products like shirts, skirts, swim trunks and bags in limited quantities and sizes. There is a smaller second store in the Sandy Port area.

I read about this place prior to our visit and it was an adventure to make it here. After some assistance by a lovely young lady, I ended up leaving with the last of this cotton poplin. I was so excited to make something special to always remember this beautiful piece of paradise!! The quality of the fabric is top notch, with the colours staying true after several washes, I love the crispness of the cotton and the structure it brings to this wrap dress. 10/10 would recommend checking out.

Absolutely gorgeous, hand printed fabrics. Friendly clerk, clean store, and must-have prints. Crafters and non-crafters alike, if you're in Nassau this is a MUST see!

This place is cool. We purchased a few items and loved the uniqueness of the selections. We saw them making some new ones through the window and they also were sewing on the upper floor. It's just cool to get something locally made and unique. We are going to frame a few of the larger square place mats. As a side note the area seems a little sketchy so maybe have a taxi on standby. They have to buzz you in and we saw a lot of security guards in the shopping complex. We walked from Bahama Art and Handicraft and it was the only time I was a little nervous.

Bahamas Hand Prints is for sewers, quilters and fabric lovers. These original screen prints are gorgeous, colourful and based on local flora fauna. Yardage costs about $20.00 US for cotton. They also sell ready made goods such as bags, pillows and table linens.

Every design and every fabric are beautiful, unique and of high quality. My favorite shop at the Nassau port.
