Google
Miss Lin Cafe is a cozy and cutely decorated place that is almost never empty, which says a lot about this place already! No matter where you snap a shot, the decor will never be lacking. 😉 They also have a variety of seating options, however the tables are very small and can barely fit 2 people’s orders and their own personal belongings, so if you plan to study here it might be a bit difficult. There are a few tables that are slightly larger, however the cafe is busy so it is unlikely that the tables will be free. They also provide free wifi which is nice. The food is great too, however it is a bit pricey for the portion compared to other places. I enjoyed the dessert soups as they are not too sweet and the presentation is also so cute!! Overall i would come back, this is a super cute cafe spot 😚😚

We went Miss Lin for a light meal. It is nicely decorated with a cozy vibe. It's a cool spot which gives you a BBT feel but also provides you some good selections on their menu. This is certainly an interesting place for you to dine comfortably there. We ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken and the Super Mix Dessert. Both of them were pretty nice. Cute food presentations. Nice server giving us prompt services. I would come back again to catch-up with buddies while having some decent food choices.

Their low sugar desserts are quite yummy, not overloaded with sugars, and are aesthetically pleasing. The ambience is also very homey. It’s a nice place to go for fruity like desserts.

Bright space, cozy vibes, and sunlight pouring through the windows— ideal for a laid-back date or a quiet study session. The decor is both modern and homey, and the presentation of the food is lovely. The matcha latte was warm and smooth. It even came with a couple of complimentary cookies. The sweet potato fries were fine— crispy enough, lightly salted— but didn’t leave much of an impression. Things took a dip from there. The popcorn chicken was too greasy, with pieces that felt more fat than meat. The egg waffle was extra crunchy in a way that didn’t quite work— more dense than fluffy, with an off-putting aftertaste. One saving grace was the custom dessert bowl. It was refreshing, with a solid mix of toppings that made it fun to eat. Overall, this place is more about the atmosphere than the food. You’ll get your cute photos and chill setting, but the menu leans more style than substance. Worth a visit if you're nearby and don’t mind a wait.

Miss Lean Café is a cute and quiet spot tucked away in Markham. It’s not the kind of place you stumble on by chance. You have to know it’s there. But once you find it, it’s a pleasant surprise. The space feels calm and peaceful, with a charming countryside China aesthetic. It’s relaxing, airy, and has a soft atmosphere that makes you want to take your time. The vibe is definitely Asian and specifically Chinese, but not in an overwhelming way. It gives off the feeling of a slow, fresh morning in a village setting. Very simple, very nice. The ordering process is digital. You scan a QR code at your table, place your order on your phone, and then the food and drinks are brought to you. It’s all very smooth. The service is fast and polite. Once you’re done, you head to the front to pay at the counter with a very lovely lady who makes the experience even more pleasant. As for the food, I wouldn’t say it’s outstanding. It’s nice to look at and clearly made with care, but it does lack a bit of depth in flavour. A bit more sweetness or spice in some of the dishes would go a long way. That said, nothing was bad. It’s all fresh and decent. Just not the kind of flavours that linger or surprise you. The presentation is where Miss Lean really shines. Everything is visually beautiful and very Instagrammable. The desserts especially are colourful and well plated, and the drinks come with nice little touches like a tray and cookies, which add a bit of personality. Price-wise, it’s fair. Not cheap but not overpriced either. It sits comfortably in the mid-range for cafés of this style. In short, Miss Lean Café is a lovely spot to relax with pretty food and good service. I wouldn’t necessarily go for bold flavours, but I would definitely return for the vibe and the calm experience.

Google
Fancy cafe restaurant offering a variety of drinks, desserts and noodles. Food tastes decent, is presented nicely, but is a bit overpriced. They are open late until 11 pm. Aboveground parking can be difficult to find at busy times, but there is free underground parking at this plaza.

Google
Very relaxed vibe and beautiful desserts. We got one of the tea sets and a milk dessert. The tea was just tea but the presentation is what you're paying for. The milk dessert tasted good. This place is good for the vibes but otherwise it's a bit overpriced

Google
Love coming here to study with friends (and the desserts are great!). It’s a little on the pricier side, but the servers are so nice, and the atmosphere is warm.

Yelp
Came here because it's one of the only places open late on a weekday. The desserts were So delicious and aesthetically pleasing. If you like "not too sweet" this is the place for you. I will be back for sure !

Yelp
I'm sad to see what has happened to Miss Lin, the quality, the food selection. It used to be a nice spot to come for a quick simple Taiwanese lunch, now it's all dessert/drink base. The spot is nice and cute so having actual food would be good.
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute place! Very I teresting menu if Asian fare. I was super happy to see there are desserts with less/reduced sugar. It's not often to have this option! I'd come back for lunch next time! Drinks were also very tasty. We did try one that sounded great on paper but too strange in reality (coffee and plum).

Yelp
The aesthetics of this cafe is spot on. Very homey Instagram worthy. I've been wanting to go here since they've opened. Finally made it here to try their desserts. They are having a BOGO deal now until Oct 14th for their shaved ice. We also got the egg waffle which was good but not sure it was worth $8 for one. The shaved ice is really good. Especially the Thai milk tea one. Also there's a sign on the door that says you get 10% off your bill if you leave Within one hour. Has anyone tried this?? lol

Yelp
Excellent store! Beautiful desserts and very unique combos. Also there is food too. Came for the desserts. 16.99 Midnight summer fruits strawberry and mango and pandan jello with popping boba. The flowers are decorations can't be eaten as well as the paper sign. On the side there is the sauce Coconut milk and add to your desired taste. Other choice was osmathum tea. The dessert have special after pm either 50 percent off or free depending. Next was the Thai shaved ice 16.99 they put a lot of stuff on it the brown sugar tapioca and crunch toffee shaved ice covered with sauce and underneath black jello. A nice mix of items and a little Thai tea sauce if you need sweeter. Creme brulee 6.99 friend ordered looked good not sure how it tasted. The store is tucked away in the building and the front entrance you have to go in the building. Parking in front of the store is not really possible as it's a turn about and handicap parking with 20 min parking spots. Plenty of other free parking available on site. Washrooms not instore have to use building just around the corner. Open till 11pm last call 1030pm. Great little place with lots of unique desserts to try. Also there coffee, noodles and some Taiwanese snacks. Not only was the food beautiful the set up inside as well very warm welcoming patio like feel. Service was quick. Some discount if you pay in cash what a steal. This will be my go to dessert and tea spot now. **Note menu items may change price this was the price at this moment in time.

Yelp
Came to miss Lin recently and they are doing and buy one get one free promo i their desserts after 9pm. Super super worth it for the price. Their service was really good and they kept checking on us to see if we need a refill for our tea set. I love studying here especially because they close late. There's not a lot of cafe that close late in markham. It is always so aesthetically pleasing from the place and the food.

Yelp
A warm and welcoming spot with tasty desserts and good service. They also serve some simple meals if you're a bit hungry

Yelp
Came here on a Friday afternoon, and the place was super busy. We waited for a little bit before we were able to get a table for two. We loved that everything about this cafe was super aesthetic! And we loved that the desserts were really unique and pretty. It was unique of them to use a tea based sugar syrup as I dont think I've seen this at other chinese dessert places (where theyd usually use coconut milk or a simple sugar syrup). They also used a unique assortment of toppings and fresh fruit compared to other dessert places. Only thing we didnt love were the prices. Our bill came to about $70 for tea and dessert, which can seem a bit much for what it is. The tea set we probably wouldn't order again. But definitely see ourselves coming back for the ambiance and uniqueness.

Yelp
3.5 The interior of this cafe is so pretty and the aesthetics of their dessert plates are very whimsical. The online menu was a little difficult to navigate because a few items were duplicate in multiple sections so we thought they were new items oops. Our table we ended up getting two drinks and a dessert plate called Rainy Jiangnan. The plate is jasmine based with jasmine jelly and a few assorted sides along with a shot of jasmine tea pour over. Presentation 10/10 and taste was pretty good. I enjoyed all the different textures. The jelly was more firm than I thought thought and could be stronger in flavour. I am not sure if this was a one off issue but seeing previous reviews from a few weeks ago I am guessing this is an ongoing issue? There is no ac and just fans. We were a bit overheated and one of us got sat next to one of the floor fans and they got a mini wind storm situation going on. Overall, nice place to sit and chill with friends over a drink or dessert. A little on the pricey side though. Interested to come back and try their hot foods next!

Yelp
Everything could be improved. Went on a weekday 2pm, so it's not busy but most of the tables were occupied. You have to scan for the menu to order. The order app sucks. You can't pay on the app either. It's hard to navigate. It's good they have photos with it but somethings were sold out too. The staff seated us knowing it was 4 people. The 3 of us waited for a friend who was late and the waitress kept coming to us asking if we ordered on the app because she doesn't see anything. We reminded her we were waiting for our friend. Drinks came quickly but our dessert took forever!!! Good IG looking dessert but underwhelming. Won't be coming back. Washroom is on the second floor of an office building so I personally rather not wander there at odd hours.

Yelp
Went to this really aesthetic cafe in Markham with my friends after dinner. It's open until 11pm most days, making it a good place to hang out. Everything is ordered online via QR code - it's the type where you can see each other's orders and delete each other's items off the cart (before the order is placed). The food and drinks here are tasty and Instagrammable. However, even though it wasn't too busy when I went, all the food came out very slowly.

Yelp
My partner and I wanted to find a cafe where we could work and found this place. Pictures of the interior did not do justice to how it actually was in real life! The tea was beautifully presented, it came with a small vase of flowers too. As for the taste, I found it to be okay. The appearance was much better than the taste. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was delicious, also well presented. The ambiance is very nice, great place to work in groups or alone.

Yelp
Good place to chat with friends and to study. Miss Lin Cafe serves Taiwanese food including the traditional beef noodles, various bubble teas and Taiwanese desserts. The beef noodle I ordered was decent. The soup wasn't super flavourful though. The good thing is you can just add 1.99 for another bowl of plain noodles if you are hungry. Will go back and try their dessert next time
google avatar

Lynn C.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and I feel very comfortable eating here every time. The most important thing is that the real thing is very consistent with the picture. I prefer the light sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance and salty milk cap. I scan the QR code to order Waffles and sweet-scented osmanthus desserts are a must-order every time; there are also some snacks here, fried chicken and Taiwanese sausages are also available when you are hungry. The service and atmosphere are very good, recommended

Yelp
Come here for the nice ambiance and desserts, but don't bother with the savory food. I went to Miss Lin to catch up with a friend over the holidays and the cafe was packed at lunch. We waited about 15mins for a table for 2 which wasn't too bad, and it's nice that there doesn't seem to be a seating limit too, as we saw people bringing their laptops to work. The noodle bowls are about $15 and the items inside were pretty basic. I got the udon beef noodle which the udon tasted like the packaged udon noodles from the grocery store with a bit of preservative taste. Definitely get food somewhere else at the plaza before coming. The desserts here are pretty unique and I liked the flavours and presentations. The Life is but a Dream bowl had fresh mangos and strawberries and the syrup was really refreshing. They are quite pricey as well, the bowls are about $15 and the drinks are around $9. The servers are quite friendly but you can tell they were short staffed during the holidays when the cafe was full. Coming on a weekday with a laptop to do some work is probably the most ideal.

Yelp
Somewhat charming, but tries to be more than it actually is. From the outside and even walking in, it's an absolutely stunning looking cafe with beautiful decor. However what it over delivers in looks it under delivers in functionality. The tables are uneven, the cutlery is flimsy and falling apart. The wood on the forks and knives are separating from the metal. The unnecessarily long utensils are not ideal for eating and are slightly bothersome to use. The service was better than average but not the best. Could be understaffed or difficulty moving around with all the cluttered furniture. No explanation of what you're eating or what is on the plate. Just plop on table and walk away to do something else. The drinks are hit or miss. The sodas are refreshing with a nice fruity flavour. The Thai tea I had was the worst I ever had. Weak and watery tea flavour, and the tapioca was gummy and melting on my tongue. The food was actually much better than I expected. It was great actually. The waffle was warm, crunchy, with sweet fruit and a very tasty treat. The dessert bowls were refreshing, fruity, and not too sweet. Definitely exceeded my expectations on that one. Flashy decor will only get people in the door. What will keep the doors open is consistency and improvement. Lose the twiggy forks, work on your customer service, and stop watering down your tea with so much ice.

Yelp
Great and unique dessert place! This place has a very nice ambiance upon walking in and the desserts that were served definitely matched. Tried two different dessert dishes here (forgot the names right now but the pictures show what we ordered). Both desserts were super aesthetic and had a combination of fruits and various different jellies. They both also came with a side of milk/cream to pour over the top - very IG worthy. Lastly, they both had very mild flavours.. fans of the "not too sweet" kind of desserts would definitely appreciate these. I would say I'm quite a fan of the desserts and I would go back here to try the other offerings. "Unique" and "not too sweet" would be the words to describe the desserts here in short. In addition to desserts, they also have an extensive menu (a little intimidating at first) of savoury dishes which I'd love to explore one day.

Yelp
December 4, 2023 - This cafe is cute and aesthetically pleasing! Love the decor and furniture choices. It's too cute!! My friends and I went here after dinner, it's a nice place for desserts. We ordered 2 Crème Brûlée, 1 Life is but a Dream, 1 Sweet scented Osmanthus Latte. The service was good, staff was nice. Atmosphere was quiet (maybe because it was late). We all enjoyed our dessert.
google avatar

Yelp
You walk in on a hot day and realize they have no AC but there were fans placed all around to keep the temperature comfortable. Bequtoful ambiance with neutral colour and tiny vases with tiny flowers throughout the space. Taiwanese cuisine with some savoury noodles (soup vs dry) options. I highly recommend the dry noodles. It comes to you on a tray and is paired with an aiyu jelly in a floral/perfumed(?) juice - really refreshing and lovely. Service is friendly, speedy, and has great attention of detail.
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Came back again and tried some more desserts. The 3 we tried were delicious and not very sweet. A little on the pricey side for desserts so can't have this too often.
google avatar

Junnie L.

Yelp
Came here because I saw photos of this place being really cute and the atmosphere indeed was really cute and cozy when I went. Service was just okay. You order the food at the front and then someone brings the food to your table. There were a few times when I wanted something such as refilling my water and actually had to walk up to the front to ask for it. Food was also just mediocre although presentation looked cute! If I were to come back, it would be for the atmosphere more than the food. Perhaps this could be a cute date place for ordering just a drink or dessert instead of eating a nice full meal.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday just before noon and it wasn't busy! Got the Chinese pickled cabbage noodle and it was good, just a bit on the bland side. Their popcorn chicken was quite expensive for the small amount you get but other than that it was good. There's also a variety of drinks to choose from! Service was friendly as well
google avatar

Jo C.

Yelp
Great place for delicious Taiwanese Snacks such as popcorn chicken, Sweet Potato Fries, Chinese sausages and noodles. They also have great selection of coffee, teas and fruit drinks: I really enjoyed the Passion Fruit Mojito. It is refreshing with fresh passion fruit juice and seeds, mint and fresh slices of lime. You can also specify your ice and sugar level. I normally like my drinks not too sweet ... and 50% sweet was perfect for me. For dessert we had Grass Jelly No 2 which has red bean, grass jelly, tapioca and mochi. You can choose to add regular milk or coconut milk and can have it served cold or hot. For me I really enjoyed it with coconut milk served cold. So tasty!!
google avatar

Ying L.

Yelp
Very casual and nicely decorated coffee/tea place . They also offer set meals and light combos set. The staff is very nice with a lot of patience even we just ordered drinks . They did not bother us so we enjoyed our talk. I like the interior design with a such a comfy setting with high ceiling. Good place for a light meal or coffee/bubble tea with friends.

Yelp
Took my niece here to grab some egg waffles and decided to get a drink here too! I live footsteps away from Miss Lin cafe and always wanted to try the drinks here during the summer when I would go for walks with my little family, but they close around 7pm (womp womp)! Finally decided to take my niece here and we ordered 2 egg waffles and fruit tea to go. It took about 15 minutes for our orders to be completed, which isn't too bad, but there was nowhere to be seated while waiting for your takeout order, so we just stood there waiting and watching sit-in patrons eating and talking (a little awkward). Once we got our order, we walked back to my place while munching on the egg waffles while it was still warm. The waffles were heart shaped and they were yummy. It had a hint of coconut milk, and the vanilla flavour is good, but it's not as good as the ones in Pmall imo, my 10 yo niece also agrees! The fruit green tea was sooo good! It was a passion fruit base with a lot of assorted fruits!
google avatar

Oshynne L.

Yelp
We ordered the two dry noodle dishes (Double Chili Dry Noodle) and a couple drinks from Miss Lin. The food menu is pretty small, but the noodle dishes we tried were tasty and well-portioned. The drinks (Black Sugar Tapioca Matcha Latte, Grapefruit Green Tea) were good as well and left us wanting to try the other ones on their menu. We ordered via QR code and the order came fairly quickly; you have to order from one device only, as we weren't able to put in orders from our respective devices for the same table. The restaurant itself is pretty calm and aesthetically decorated; it was a a great spot to get some work done and have a quick meal.

Yelp
Talk about *clean girl aesthetic*! Such a nice cozy spot in Markham, definitely a nice place to sit, talk with a friend or study in. Plenty of snack options and dessert options on the menu as well as savoury dishes too!
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
The interior is super cute and cozy! A great place to sit down for a while and catch up with friends. However the drinks weren't memorable and oddly enough despite going at a low traffic time, they forgot our order and we had to wait half an hour before they realized. We were only 1 of 2 tables at the time so that was a little frustrating. They do offer promotions from time to time so I'll likely be back to check those out if I'm in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to get a bubble tea here.
google avatar

Yelp
This cafe has been around for some time and I finally got around to trying it. The decor is simple and cute and the cafe is very bright. They offer traditional Chinese tea sets that come with tea treats or fruits, and a variety of aesthetically pleasing desserts. They also have some Taiwanese snacks like popcorn chicken and beef noodle soup. We tried the beef noodles, one of the desserts, and 2 cold drinks. The dessert was the highlight for me as it was pretty and also tasty without being too sweet. The purple taro milk pudding, rice balls, mochi, and popping water chestnut balls went very well together and the coconut syrup added sweetness to it. I feel the menu items are a bit overpriced in general but I guess you're paying for the vibes and how cute everything looks.
google avatar

Yelp
Miss Lin Cafe is a charming little cafe in Markham, serving light fare and a wide variety of tea based and fruit beverages. The decor is simple but attractive, with several very large hanging light fixtures that actually help to soften the sound reflecting off the hard ceiling. We had stopped in for something to drink after dining nearby. My friend had a tea based fruit drink while I had a strawberry pineapple soda. Both were refreshingly good. Guests at nearby tables had ordered some food and they were served in some cute little baskets. The food looked good. Next time...

Yelp
This is a casual spot in Markham near First Markham place. They have a great selection of bubble teas, fruit teas, sparkling beverages, hot beverages, and of course snacks! Fried chicken, cake, waffles and other pastries. What's really cool is the environment. Even though it's indoors, it feels like its outdoors with nice wooden tables (some picnic table-ish), plus alot of plans and fake-grass flooring. This gives the summer-patio vibe near-round. They have free wifi, and both times I came here it was packed with not only alot of adults who wanted a new venue for work-from-not-quite-home, but also many students working on projects/assignments. They have larger tables which double as desks, so whether you're here to socialize or spend a couple hours on work or school, this is a great spot.

Yelp
To the few non-perfect reviews of this place. I beg to differ. Good service, really good. Tasteful way of approaching my table, artful with the timing and placement of food items. Decorations are classy, and menu easy to follow (unless... it's not easy for you to read). I casually ordered a mango coconut drink. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. One of my favorite drinks I've had ever. I didn't even ask for tapioca or grass jelly, which is my go-to for drinks like this. I also had Taiwanese sausage, just to see the quality of the food. It was good. Enough said. If you're wondering whether to eat here or not, just come. I've given my approval.

Yelp
Heard a lot of good reviews from people, so we decided to try this place. The meal set tastes good for its price, you can choose 3 side dishes - tomatoes with eggs, tofu, celery, corn, Napa, beans. The marinated egg is the best, obviously soak it enough time. The set also comes with a soup as well. I was a bit disappointed with popcorn chicken, I found papa chang tastes better. Maybe this is a "healthier" version, my kids didn't eat much.

Shi Qi L.

Yelp
Very comfy ambiance, but it does get packed quickly, specially during lunch our due to offices nearby. They had a great selection of noodles and desserts (I don't think they have any rice dish, so don't go expecting one). Each noodle set does come with a small sweet fruit Chinese dessert. The Sakura jelly was a seasonal dessert that we ordered and it was beautifully presented and you get to pour the Sakura milk on top of it (you get to have small customization). Will definitely go back to try their other desserts and tea set option. Staff was really nice and allowed us to take some pictures with their decoration props.

Yelp
This place was so cute and cozy! The atmosphere makes you feel like you're sitting in a bright garden due to the plants, decor and large windows. The waiters are so welcoming and helpful as well. We went for lunar new year and they had a special lucky draw promotion with deals for their menu items. We all had the stewed beef soup and I was surprised by how soft the meat was! The broth was very flavourful. Something I would give caution on is the spice level! Medium is quite spicy and the spicier you choose the more oily your broth becomes due to the chili oil they add. For dessert I also got the grapefruit tea and bubble waffles. I asked for 0 sugar and coconut jelly (the superior combo) and it was still sweet with some mild complimentary bitterness. I do feel their bubble tea is a little overpriced however $9 for one size option however they do use real fruit. However, the bubble waffles were very tasty! They were subtly sweet and fluffy. The heart shape was also super cute and fun. Overall I really liked this place and looking forward to going again sometime soon!

Yelp
Came here twice to dine in. There's not many Taiwanese dine in options around this was a great place to have a nice lunch in a pretty ambience. Loved the beef brisket rice noodle soup with sauerkraut that I ordered it both times. Medium was already spicy enough, mild for soup was just enough so you can enjoy the soup. Their other bento box rice options all comes with pick 3 sides. They have different special desert options wished I had room to try. Will go back for sure.

Yelp
Miss Lin Cafe is a great cozy cafe to get work done, catch up with friends, and to enjoy some solid food & drinks! They offer classic Taiwanese flavours for their drinks and food with classic bubble tea, beef noodle soup, popcorn chicken along with traditional street eats you would find across Asia. The Mango Coconut is one of my go-to drinks as it's the ideal summer drink to cool down from the heat with the hint of coconut adding the extra flavour we crave for. The Beef Noodle Soup is exactly how I prefer with the noodles being cooked to a good al dente to pair alongside the rich broth and tender beef brisket. Miss Lin Cafe is a fun spot to sit back and relax and to enjoy some solid eats!

Yelp
This is an aesthetically cute venue. Service: slow service + tried to scam us on the bill ( 1 star) Food: ordered their heart shaped egg waffles - super cute! Unfortunately it was a little blend (3 star) Drinks: unique but refreshing (3.5 star) Payment type: cash or debit (1 star) Parking: free parking within a busy plaza (3.5 star) Overall: a venue that offers mediocre products with horrible service.

Yelp
It's been a while since I have dined in miss lin cafe as I normally get their takeout due to my hectic schedule. I had the chance to sit down and take in the beautiful presentation of their meals and everything was so aesthetic. The cafe itself was always beautiful as usual with its light and airy feel and it's a great place to catch up with friends over a drink or some amazing food. I am always impressed by selection of Taiwanese snacks, meals and drinks and it brings me back to the time I spent in Taiwan. here Roasted Oolong tea + Osmanthus tea jelly (New item coming soon) Curry Chicken rice set Sweet Potato fries with Prune powder Taiwanese sausage Popcorn chicken Xiao Guo Noodle soup All the food items had the authentic Taiwanese flavors and amazing quality. The curry chicken rice set was really filling with a generous portion. It came with 3 side dish options, marinated egg and a soup! I also loved how the side dishes were very healthy side dish items. The Sweet potato fries were genuinely the best I have ever had. It was so flavorful with the Prune powder and it was so light and not greasy. I highly recommend this! I also loved their new menu item the osmanthus tea jelly. It was the perfect dessert on a hot day and it was very cooling with the mint flavor. I also love the Taro balls and fruity bubbles that popped in your mouth. As an added bonus it was really nice that it came with an Oolong tea that paired perfectly with this light dessert. The Xiao Guo Noodle soup was very flavorful and hearty and I loved the bowl that it was served in! Not pictured here is my go to item is the Stewed Basil chicken with rice. It is super flavorful and the chicken is really tender! Make sure to check out miss lin cafe they have some really amazing specials and the rice sets are only $11.99! Talk about value!

Worse than tim hortons You are paying for the environment. The coffee here is watery and no taste. The person who made my coffee actually poured water into the cup after she poured coffee. And the coffee served is way to hot to drink. I have wait for 10 minutes for the coffee to cool down. Don't come here if you want a drinkable coffee.

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice. Food was okay. Hardly any service as the menu is only QR code accessible if you dine in.

Yelp
Came here for a snack and decided to dine in. We originally just ordered the osmanthus jelly with oolong tea but they require every person to order at least one thing so we added a drink. The jelly was super refreshing with the chewy add-ons and the oolong tea to add on top of that.

Yelp
There isn't much parking above ground so I'd recommend going underground instead of circling around looking for a spot. I don't know if there's a central elevator to get back above ground. We just went to the first set of stairs that we saw to get above ground and then find where we wanted to be.The outside entrance door is locked so don't go pull on it like I did haha. Use the entrance inside the building to access the restaurant. We each ordered off the lunch menu which includes an entree along with 2 sides, half a marinated egg and soup. The sides are only listed in Chinese which is an issue for those that cannot read Chinese. When ordering from the lunch menu you get a $2 discount off drinks. There is a water station by the entrance but the water container was all out and not refilled. The salt and pepper chicken was nicely fried and had just the right amount of salt so that it wasn't bland or too salty. We noticed that the sides with the meal were room temperature. We're not sure if this was because they had been sitting out too long or purposely this way. There is quite a bit of rice underneath all the meat and veggies so you'll be sufficiently full upon finishing your meal. It was unfortunate that my matcha latte barely tasted like matcha but I liked that I asked for 25% sugar and it wasn't overly sweet like it usually is at other places.

Yelp
This place has been on my radar for a while, but then COVID-19 hit as well... However, I was so excited to wake up this morning to find out that I had won the Father's Day giveaway on Instagram from Miss Lin's Cafe! I was told to pick it up today (only) and so I went around 2pm. It's in a really easy-to-locate plaza with sufficient parking. The plaza itself wasn't busy today and walking in, I was the sole customer. First impression? This place must be really aesthetic with a nice vibe when dining in is allowed! It's currently a little messy as things are blockaded to prevent people from going too far in, but a skimming of the decor plus the abundance of lighting really makes the place feel cozy. I'd love to come back for the full experience. I was gifted a balloon basket and 3 drinks of my choice (pictures available). The process was easy, as a employee (wearing a mask) came over and helped me out. The drinks took a decent amount of time to make and when you see the final product, you're glad they took their time! I was really blown by the products' packaging and the attention to detail in their branding! Very nice. An Instagrammer's dream really. I ordered the following: 1. Oreo tapioca cream milk black tea - cutest presentation where they used a mint leaf as a plant and the crushed Oreos as soil, respectively. Wishing this had a little more Oreo in it but I appreciate the sweetness level and the chewiness if the tapioca, tasting very fresh. 2. Black tapioca milk black tea - had to give the classic a try. I requested this to be made less sweet (as other places tend to load the sugar) but came to realize that their normal sugar levels are likely very minimal. The tapioca is sweetened though, so either way, it all balanced out. Again, super chewy! 3. Lime passionfruit mint soda - this one surprised me as I'm not the biggest fan of club soda, but the fresh ingredients gave off subtle flavors that made this very refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall, pleasant experience in terms of mannerism of the staff, presentation of the products as well as their taste.

Yelp
Good food and a good environment too! Love the aesthetics of the place. The servers were very considerate and were aware of our needs. Seeing that we were sharing the items we ordered, they came and gave us an extra bowl to be able to share easily. Love the commitment!

Yelp
Love this cafe it is super cute. There is not a large selection of food mainly variations of 2 items: pop corn chicken with rice or a beef noodle. There are many drink options however and the food and drinks taste great!

Yelp
Miss Lin Cafe @miss 9/10 - I gave Miss Lin a second try by coming to try out their lunch menu and I was really miss(in) out!! I think that this is going to quickly become one of my go to spots, I love the aesthetic of the cafe and the comfort food Minced pork and Taiwanese Sausage on rice $15 ( includes soup, choice of 3 side dishes + dessert) - as someone who has become addicted to ordering 3 course meals this is the perfect option and it does not put a huge dent in my wallet. I loved everything and it was super saucy and flavorful. I was so full after eating this!! Iced Matcha Tea Latte $6.5 ($1 discount with meal $5.5 ) - at this point we have 10 matcha spots on this page but this matcha was a 10/10 for me!! It was perfectly sweet at 100% sugar and they use asian soy milk which I have to say is superior ‼ Tip: you get 20% off if you get takeout for the drinks
