"Contemporary and central, the O&B Boutique hotel is easily accessible to Athens’ major sites—the Parthenon is about a 15-minute walk—while also handy to pedestrian shopping streets and nightlife in Psiri. Some guests might find the area’s graffiti off-putting, but the neighborhood is safe and friendly behind its gritty appearance. Rooms have neutral color palettes—the name refers to the colors ochre and brown—with accents of orange, wood floors, and views of the Athens observatory and Thissio’s neoclassical architecture. Upgrade to a suite for a private terrace with views of the Parthenon. The Thissio and Monastiraki metro stations are within a few minutes’ walk, connecting to Syntagma Square and the port at Pireaus. The all-day restaurant serves a complimentary breakfast buffet for hotel guests, with fresh bread, cheese and Greek yogurt."

Breakfast was THE highlight! wonderfully different each day. Diverse and Delicious. From fresh fruit to fresh vegetables. Fresh squeezed juices and perfect croissants. Charcuterie tray, Kalamata and Green Olives, a vastly complete Greel yogurt bar and perfectly poached eggs. (I overate, can you tell?) The room was lovely (#11) and the balcony is HUGE! I wanted to have a barbecue w/ my closest 25 friends! The view of the Acropolis is SO clear and close I was deceived at the walk when we went for our tour. When I come back to Athens, I will stay here for sure!

The hotel is fine for a short stay, staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff will give you a lot of information about restaurants and must sees. The hotel room was oke but could use some minor improvements. - there's minimal light in the bathroom. - curtains are not big enough they barely close. - a proper towl rail in the bathroom to dry your towels would be nice. (Now there are hooks). Breakfast was fine as was the location. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Not perfect, but a good stay. Location is great, all staff were really nice, the bedroom itself a bit tired but all very clean and the bathroom was modern and well equipped - slippers and bathrobes provided, a nice touch. The one negative is that it was noisy at night; we had a room facing the street and there was really loud music on Thursday, Friday & Saturday night well into the night (2-3am) - was ok with earplugs! Decent breakfast but could be improved.

This is a good hotel - comfortable bed & pillow, good AC, clean room and bathroom, decent breakfast, friendly, helpful, professional staff. If you get the penthouse suite, you get a balcony and a view of the Acropolis. I rate the hotel as less than average because of the area that it is in. All the other buildings on the street (except one other) are abandoned with broken windows, graffiti, etc. The sidewalks are narrow, uneven with holes, broken bottles and sizable cockroaches. When I went out to buy some water, I was surrounded by a group of women who wanted to sell me flowers and didn't want to take no for an answer. It was a bit scary. It isn't the best area and everyone in our group had a near fall / ankle turning incident in the block our hotel was located in. The hotel indicates that it has a bar but it has been closed for awhile. It has snacks until 3 (sandwiches with chips) but no restaurant if you needed or wanted to eat in. One day we got back to the room and they had changed the sheets and sprayed perfume on the sheets and covers - the smell was so strong that even if you weren't scent sensitive, it would have bothered you. We did ask to have the sheets changed and it was done swiftly and the staff were great about it but not sure why they did it to begin with. It is a hard hotel to rate because the hotel itself is good but I would never stay there again. Once you go a few blocks away, the area gets better. If a rough area doesn't bother you, I would recommend this hotel. If you are traveling with small children or have mobility issues, I would not recommend it, due to the area.

This was a two night stay that was absolutely fantastic! We booked them on Booking for com after lots of shopping and review reading. We got there at 8am after our cruise for an extra couple of nights to see the sights of Athens. They held our luggage and gave us a thorough explanation of surroundings with tips on dining, shopping, sight seeing and any other questions we had. Our room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the AC didn't work when we checked in initially but they had it fixed but the time we were done site seeing for the day. We didn't need to change rooms or anything. The rooms were cleaned regularly and serviced without disturbing our stuff. We were also offered a free snack and drink in our room alone with two bottles of cold water in the fridge that we're regularly restocked as well. Everyone was welcoming, kind and helpful. Breakfast was also lovely- lots of options available depending on your preferences. The coffee was especially good. I also want to address the neighborhood. There were a couple of bad reviews on here that mentioned the noise. We found there to be no noise and very quiet. We slept very well considering Athens is a late night city and we were in bed by 10pm every night. A couple of bad reviews mentioned the rough part of town? It was a vintage district so many people are out selling their antique or used wares which is common in most every city in the world. It was actually really cool and we always felt very safe. We even had a view of one of the monuments of the Acropolis from our room! It is actually a couple streets down from Little Kook so we were grateful to avoid all that foot traffic, noise and bright lights. We got none of it. If you don't know what Little Kook is, look it up. It's bananas! So whether your passing through or here to site see, this hotel was spectacular! Highly recommend 10/10

It is a really good hotel. It is conveniently located, rooms are big, breakfast is good, staff is freindly, reception works 24/7 and they can arrange you a drive to/from the airport. There were also a welcome drink and sweets for free in the room. The street is quite but the place is on a walking distance from the Parliament and the National Garden.

Room very comfortable, and staff extremely accommodating, unprofessional, friendly, with a great recommendation for a restaurant that we really enjoyed. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Athens, funky location, with graffiti on almost every wall, but felt very safe and there were several restaurants within walking distance that looked interesting.

Our stay here was such an amazing experience. The staff were so kind and helpful. From the beginning they made us feel welcome and important. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. We chose the balcony room to watch the full moon over the Acropolis. It was perfect. The location was perfect for visiting all the sights and restaurants. The breakfast was my favorite food in Athens. Thank you for such an incredible stay. Daye Perez US
