"A newcomer on the St. Barths scene is Gyp Sea, a vibrant bohemian club on Pelican Beach that offers “sea, sun, rum and BBQ.” Drinks are playful in parrot-shaped glasses, and everything edible—from fish, to pineapple, to corn, to meats—is thrown on the grill."

If you’re visiting Saint Barts, I highly recommend you checking out Gyp Sea Beach Club. Everything was outstanding from food to service to atmosphere. I would rate it a 10 out of 10 while in my stay at Saint Bart’s I ate at over 15 recommended restaurants and this and Shellona were my top two while visiting. Make sure to make a reservation, especially during high season so you get a chance to experience this incredible place. There’s nothing better than great food with a great view overlooking the beach. Whoever is in charge of the culinary program at this establishment is doing a phenomenal job. Highly recommend.

It's so dreamy in this place and exudes such a laid back, blissful environment. Yes, it's pricey but you're in St. Barth. I would return. Beach access, loungers and sunbeds that come with towels. There is a shower as you enter back into the club area and anything else you could need. They will even call a taxi for you. It's about a 7 min ride from the ferry port, so don't fret on the ride to and from. Enjoy

A time was definitely had, we had a lot of fun. The atmosphere, aesthetics, the drinks, food were fantastic. 🌟 Gypsea was fun, I met a lot of nice people. We went in March 2025 and the weather was hot but the water was cold. Gypsea Beach water was calm and swim friendly. I thought I was in Europe for a second. I can’t wait to go back. 🤪

We had an amazing time at Gyp Sea Beach Club! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing day by the ocean, and the vibe was just right. Eddie was our fantastic server—friendly, attentive, and kept the beverages flowing without us ever having to ask. Highly recommend for great service and good vibes all around!

We were hotel guests staying at the GypSea hotel which is a truly lovely experience--until you go to the beach club. The guys working the beach club are a complete joke. They are completely coin operated and don't know the meaning of the word hospitality. They seem desperate for cash and are pumping you constantly to buy their absurdly priced food and drinks. They told us the front row of beach chairs is fully booked, (despite the fact that we had a reservation booked for us by the hotel), then they tell the guy who walks in off the street 2 minutes later that the front row is available for 80 euros and the 2nd row is available for 60 euros. Is that really how you want to make your hotel guests feel when they are paying 1800 euros a night to stay in your hotel?? These guys are just dumb. When you get the manager involved and he gets his manager involved (not kidding),the right things eventually happen but is it really worth disenfranchising your hotel guests over 20 euros? I don't think so. Too many other great beach clubs and hotels on St. Barths. So long GypSea.

Gyp Sea Beach Club is the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and island vibes! The breathtaking beachfront views create an unforgettable atmosphere, and the music adds to the vibe yet laid-back experience. Our large party was treated to exceptional service—attentive, friendly, and seamless from start to finish. The food and drinks were outstanding, with fresh, flavorful dishes that truly elevated our beachside dining experience. While it is on the pricey side, the quality, ambiance, and overall experience make it well worth it. A reservation is a must, and if you don’t have one, be sure to arrive early to secure a spot. Gyp Sea Beach Club is a must-visit!

Have been coming to St Barts for 20 years this was our first visit to Gyp Sea. Our server Kevin was excellent. We brought our son & his wife. Great service & food & vibe. Bringing the rest of the family back next week. Nice job Kevin!
