Helpful and kind staff at this branch. I’ve been going for years and it’s amongst the most well stocked locations in Tokyo. If you don’t see a style on the rack, it’s likely they’ll have some in the store room — just ask politely. Downside is that their points membership system no longer work for foreigners anymore (it was a decent discount in the past on top of tax refunds). After shopping, make your way to Miyota in the corner for some handmade soba.

Stock is much better than in department stores. The staff member assisting me was helpful. Reason for the -1 star is: For some reason they do not display everything that are actually in stock. As a customer you have to ‘ask’ and then they’ll ‘check’ in the back. Maybe this has been a underlaying rule for the brand? Not sure. I love their clothing but this was a bit confusing for me. Overall I will visit again 100%. Beautiful clothes.

Pleats please!!! Issey Miyake is known for his technology-driven clothing designs, exhibitions and fragrances. This Aoyama boutique is a little gem who reflects the designers view about fashion and his way of incorporating an industrial touch to his designs! On the main floor you’ll find women’s fashion, head to the lower level for men’s clothes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In this boutique you’ll find only the ‘Pleats Please’ line in which the garments are cut and sewn first, then sandwiched between layers of paper and fed into a heat press, where they are pleated. The fabric’s ‘memory’ holds the pleats and when the garments are liberated from their paper cocoon, they are ready-to wear. The boutique looks like a museum of contemporary art and the clothes are hanging there like pieces of art waiting for you to be mesmerised by them and take you in an ethereal world made out of pleats

High end world class famous fashion house by issue miyaki! Great

Hospitable staffs give you many advice. It has full lineup with even previous season, much well stored than brunch in department stores. You can become a member if you purchase certain amount, then sometimes receive special offer only for members.

The staff here was very friendly! I went to this branch cause I had to run an errand for my mum whilst travelling in Tokyo this Summer. I had a great conversation with a lady who works here although I couldn’t find what I was looking for... nevertheless she was really friendly and helpful on letting me know where to get the out-of-stock trousers! Just in case you’re reading this and wondering who I am- I’m the Palace Skateboards cap girl! ありがとうございました😊

This is the first time at issey PP the service was subpar service! A very negative shopping experience with Aoki's service here last night. All the other issey store we went in along the same street were super friendly with good sevices! I don't know what's up with this location, Aoki's service was so negative and terrible, if she doesn't want to sell or service, get somebody else to do it instead! Ended up only buying a bag, rather go to another PP store to purchase more. Aoki is a let down to what Japanese deem as presentable service. She needs to go.

Great location, large boutique with large selection. Staff competent, if not as friendly as some of the other Issey Miyake boutiques on this street. Perhaps due to large traffic of customers? Note: Prices are much much better in Japan for Pleats Please than the US. Tax-free -- must have physical passport. Do sign up for a membership card -- you accumulate points that can be used towards future purchases at any Issey Miyake line (up to a year). Stand-alone Issey Miyake boutiques featuring Bao Bao bags, Me (the more casual bridge line), HauT and the eponymous Issey Miyake are all within yards of each other. If the piece you're interested is not in stock at this store, they will call other stores for availability.
