Disuko

Had a great evening with my girlfriend. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. We had Izzy as our host for the evening who was extremely friendly and had some good recommendations on the food and cocktails. Thank you for the glass of prosecco for our anniversary. Izzy and other staff were there when needed and never overbearing. One member of staff was kind enough to ask the chef when requested about one of the sauces which was lovely. The menu is not massive but there are plenty of options across meat, fish and vegetables options. The pork belly small plate was so nice. The cocktail menu is good fun and very tasty. There are plenty of non alcoholic drinks available too. Lovely atmosphere, good lighting, nice level of noise, everyone is talking but you have no problems talking to your table. All the staff had a smile on their face which was lovely to see. Will definitely come back and bring some friends next time too.

We highly recommend Disuko, we had an absolutely brilliant experience here. We had an early dinner on New Years (sorry for the late review!) which included a SIP & SETTO. The food was delicious and you could pick the meal options which was great. Drinks were flowing and cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. The staff were so friendly and attentive and a special thank you to Alessandro, we didn’t have to ask for a thing, the staff were always one step ahead. Disuko is a must when you’re in Melbourne, it has a great atmosphere. It is in a great location on Bourke St and close to the tram line. Thank you Disuko for making our experience a memorable one and we’ll definitely be returning.

Had a lovely dinner last night at Disuko. The balcony area was packed and the whole restaurant was vibey. Our waitress Lexie was amazing and so attentive. The edamame were chargrilled which was a nice touch and the spicy tuna bites were absolutely delicious and just the right amount of kick 🔥 Innovative drinks menu and overall really lovely night. The only dish I didn't love was the tempura prawns - actually I probably would love it if the mayo was on the side rather than on the prawns. Will be back!

We celebrated my daughter's birthday with a lunch at Dissuko. The service was great. Meya who served us was attentive and took the time to explain the menu and the food. The food was fresh and delicious and the set menu was good value for money. The place was unexpectedly noisy for a Monday afternoon but the service, the food and the vibe made up for it.

My partner took me here for my birthday and it was 10/10 delicious! We did the omakase and we left feeling full - but not stuffed. Izzie, our waitress was absolutely lovely and our omakase chef Dat was also great! I'd highly recommend trying out Disuko!!

It’s so good! I mean the service was excellent! Izzie was so lovely and took care of us so well! Everyone was so accommodating and lovely to talk to. They’re suggestions for food were great. Notably the tempura prawn and katsu curry was so good. We ordered the Disuko setto which was so filling for 2!! Then the must have for the drinks is their refreshing Mr. Ho! The vibe in the place was also so good!

I went there just wanting to try a new Japanese restaurant, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The food was amazing! My friends and I ordered the set menu for only $55 per person. We were able to choose several items, and every dish was delicious. The cocktails were exceptional — very creative and beautifully made. A big thank you to our lovely waitress, Lisa. 🫶🏻 She made our simple lunch feel even more special. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing meal at Disuko. What a spot, the decor and vibe are unmatched. The host went above and beyond to fit us in despite us not having a booming. And our server Siam was so lovely and accommodating. She is great at her job er loved her
