Found this cafe on Google search. It definitely is a must try for vegan food and more. They offer healthy wraps, lentil burger, sides like potato salad, pesto pasta, organic coffee, Wellness shots. Everything we tried was delicious and healthy. They sold several grocery items and clothes. Great cafe to refuel and shop!

We were looking for a quick healthy gluten free sandwich before we got on the road and this place hit the spot! We got two chicken salad sandwiches with potato salad. I agree with the other reviewer the potato salad needed something but it was good on its own and not submerged in mayo. The sandwiches were excellent as well. Gatlinburg is lacking when it comes to healthy gluten free options and we were happy to find this place. It has parking as well!

We got the vegan lentil burgers with vegan potato salad. We enjoyed it. Great little store that has some good vegan items like Amy’s canned soups and vegan burritos. They also have some vegan beef jerky items. Glad we found this place as this area can lack any vegan options.

Awesome local spot! Great selection of both grab-and-go foodstuffs and snacks, health and beauty products, as well as a sit-in café eatery. We had both chicken and tuna salad sandwiches and wraps and they were healthy and delicious! The vibe is eclectic and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quieter, healthy, non-touristy haven, this is your spot! Loved it!

We are traveling through Gatlinburg and I have two vegans. It can be a challenge to find places with menu items they can eat without making substitutions, omitting toppings, etc. this place was great! They had the cold veggie wraps - one with pasta salad and one with potato salad. My other daughter and I had the chicken salad - one as sandwich and one as a wrap. Everything was delicious and the staff was super nice! I give two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Being vegan and gluten free makes eating while traveling in some areas challenging. This was our 2nd trip to Gatlinburg this year and our 2nd visit to Whole Earth Grocery. The owner is very nice and makes a delicious vegan lentil burger on gluten free bread and potatoe salad. This business is a go to in Gatlinburg if you eat like I do. I would give it 5 stars if there was one or two more options.

Great place among all the madness! We were looking for a quiet place to pop by for a quick lunch and found Whole Earth Cafe. I had the tuna salad with the balsamic vinaigrette and a side of egg salad and my husband had the lentil burger with the potato salad. Everything tasted really good! My salad was fresh and the tuna salad had pickles and celery like I love. The egg salad was way too salty but I ate it anyway. The lentil burger was delusions but the winner was the potato salad. I don’t even typically like potato salad and it was the bomb. Gluten free bread available for sandwiches and vegan/veg options. We sat outside with our dog at the only table, otherwise I would assume it’s a take out place. Cute little grocery store as well with healthy options. We got an orange juice and a seltzer water as well. There’s a sign on the trash to not put anything with food into it so if you do stay, just take it inside bc apparently there’s a bear that pays them a visit each morning and checks the bin! Overall great vibe!

Me and my husband loved this store and were so pleased to find a place that catered to our vegetarian diets. I ordered the lentil burger and pasta salad and he ordered the veggie wrap with hummus on it, and we both ordered iced coffees as well. Everything was so wonderful, refreshing and we still talk about the food and overall experience. It was a quiet, relaxing and clean atmosphere which was so welcoming after walking on the main strip all week and eating just okay food everywhere else. Definitely stop to shop and eat here if you are looking for vegetarian and organic food and (small) grocery selection. It was a fun little store and I so hope to visit again in the future next time we pass through.

The hostess/waitress/(owner maybe?) was sweet and helpful...the food was fantastic...out of the way to get there (we walked 7/10 mile from aquarium, and hubby didn't like to walk), but it was WELL worth the jaunt. I would love to go back sometime!

´Tis a grand day. Whole Earth Grocery Cafe is a Health Food store with many healthy choice just three minutes from our Gatlinburg resort. The two young sales associates have great personalities, and are a great help to us. We highly recommend. Often find a take-away salad to be perfect.

Nice healthy option in Gatlingburg when you have had you fill of carnival food on the strip and need some veggies. Had the hot vegetarian wrap and it was very good. Wife had the lentil burger which she loved.

This was the cutest cafe ever!! The lady in charge was so kind, I didn't catch her name, but she was the only one working! There are great healthy dining options and food and this is by far the best chicken salad sandwich I have had!! It also came with a side of your own choosing. The store had so many natural products and natural snacks/food. Everything about this place was super cute and had such a wonderful atmosphere!

We are always on the lookout for healthy food on our travels, but that became a desperate need in Gatlinburg where this is literally the only place we found that fit the bill. It's a little natural food grocery store with snacks and drinks and some personal care items and crafts, plus there is a small menu you can order from for sit down or take out. We ate there two days in a row because the thought of another heavy "meat and three" meal or vegetables cooked to mush was just too much to wrap our head around. We enjoyed a really good veggie wrap with greens, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and hummus - so good we ate it both days! It's located outside the Gatlinburg fray so that is another plus!

Reasonably priced and delicious food and coffee! The lentil burgers really filled us up after a morning hike in the mountains. The coffee is simple, served hot or iced with plenty of nondairy milk options. Our food was ready quickly and the service was great! This is also one of the only places that has Covid19 safety measures in place, very impressed! There is plenty of free parking for anyone who wants to stop in, as well as a trolley stop infront.

Stopped by for a healthy treat. The cafe is closed for now but they do carry out. The juices are limited so get there early if you want a fresh juice. I ordered the twist shot and it was mostly lemon juice (I order ginger shots quite a bit). The gluten free and vegan lentil burger salad was pretty tasty. I don't usually like dressing but it was good. My husband enjoyed their tuna sandwich and potato salad. The grocery store was a bit disappointing with very little option for sundries and no fresh produce. There's a smattering of healthy products so if you're in a pinch, this is a good place to check out.

Great little grocery with made to order items. Great place for vegan and vegetarian options. Cold drinks. Frozen foods, and kitchen staples. They also have snacks and teas and coffee. We had lunch there twice during our vist to the Smokey Mountains.

Veggies rejoice! This place is the cutest. It's like being in a quaint little hometown cafe with exceptional food quality. While not all Vegan/veggie, they have some options. We had the lentil burger and veggie wrap - best of both we've had in a while. And our sides were some great pasta and potato salads! No BS touristy stuff, just a local quality little store away from the hustle of the strip. I will absolutely must this on my list have list next time I visit!

Many vegan options!! Frozen foods, candies, spaghetti makings and they have a small cafe with several vegan options along with coffee and fresh juice. Highly recommend! Also super friendly :)

Since my dad and brother are vegan, we were limited in terms of places to eat in Gatlinburg. We were very excited to find Whole Earth Cafe when we saw that they have a few vegan options. The cafe is really cute. It is also a little store with Whole Foods, drinks, clothing, and various other things. It's nice that you can shop around while you wait for your food. I ordered the lentil burger wrap with a side of vegan potato salad. All three sides are vegan (potato salad, pasta salad, and blue corn chips). My dad got the lentil burger sandwich, and my mom had the veggie wrap. We got our food to go and then took it into the National Park to eat it by the river. Everything was very good but very filling! The pasta salad had a bit of a strong taste but everything else was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to any vegans and vegetarians that are trying to find some options in the area.

We were traveling through the area and I needed good fresh food. I had the lentil burger - vegan and pasta salad. I also had a wellness shot - simple -Lemon, ginger and tumeric 2 oz- EVERYTHING TASTED SOOOO GOOD MY husband and our son they had the chicken wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great ambiance and totally up my alley

Vegan options are limited in Gatlinburg as witnessed by the fitness level of most street denizens in search of processed fats.. Whole Earth is a Oasis in a sea of lard laced veggies. Lentil burger is the bomb.com. Great service! Owner is awesome and I highly recommend.

As a vegan on the road its hard to find good cafes. This place had high reviews but was seriously a dump. Looked like there was a flood in it. Before getting there we called and she told us only take outs- now we see why. Long story shorter, we waited, and waited, and she wouldn't come out from back. Another family was waiting to. She was rude, unpleasant and we kept asking her if she could take our order. She didn't like my 5lb dog in my purse so for obvious reasons we both agreed I should leave. Glad I did. I don't know if the food was any better than the service but after peaking in the kitchen area im glad I left. Clean it up, or close it down. Ugh!

I am vegan and struggle finding vegan friendly spots to go. This place was awesome! I got the lentil burger with a side of potato salad, it was delicious! I even asked for vegan mayonnaise and they had it! Would definitely come back!

So glad we made it to Whole Earth Cafe on our Tennessee trip. Such a cute little grocery and gift shop. We had lunch at the cafe and my boyfriend and I both got the lentil burger, mine with avocado and he got his as a wrap. We both really loved our burgers- they were so full of flavor. I also got the juice of the day and he got an organic root beer from the fridge which was also really yummy! We highly recommend this great little cafe in Gatlinburg.

Just what I needed! Typed "salad" into my Yelp search and this was one of very few options in the area that popped up. I am so glad we decided to make the short trip to this yummy store and cafe. There is free parking, unlike some of the busier areas in town, which was a nice surprise. We ordered and had our food in less than 10 minutes which was great as we saw lines out the door at many of the touristy spots as we drove through town. I had the Greek salad and my fiancé had the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad. Everything was homemade, fresh, and delicious. Service was very friendly. I also enjoyed browsing the eclectic mix of items for sale, everything from grocery items to antiques, to tie-dye, it was a fun store to poke around. So glad we decided to trek a just a little off the beaten path for a yummy lunch!

By far, the best healthy and vegan, plant based option in and around Gatlinburg! Fresh real food! We had the lentil burger wrap with potato salad no heavy mayo here and the veggie wrap with pasta salad. So delicious. Best cup of coffee!

Small local place with a great selection. Really good and healthy sandwiches for lunch, which is not an easy thing to find in this area. Both the black bean burger and the chicken salad get high marks. There are a few tables if you want to eat there. The prices are very reasonable, good selection of vitamins, supplements, and beverages, and just an overall friendly and attentive shopkeeper. We picked up a few healthy snacks before heading down to Cade's Cove and were happy we did.

My wife and I are Vegan and came here for lunch on a Monday while staying in Gatlinburg. It was so peaceful and so delicious! We got the veggie wrap that was phenomenal and we also got the lentil burger salad that was also phenomenal! 10/10 food and 10/10 peaceful atmosphere. Cold brew coffee was also great as well as the daily juice. Can't say enough great things about this please. We had a stressful morning, then came here and I left having totally forgotten about the stressful morning!

This is a little shop attached to a grocery store for anyone with gluten free/vegan or organic needs. They have lots of grocery items, but we were here for the Lentil Burger and Chicken salad wrap. Both were excellent. The potato salad side was vegan as well and tasty with celery rather than pickle. Since this is just outside of downtown, there is ample parking on the street or just across they way next to the Jam store, which I can also recommend, since breakfast is tomorrow. :)

The Chicken Salad sandwich was absolutely delicious! This place is so charming. And I love that the quality of food here honors people's well-being and the earth. Nourishing and tasty and well priced! It's fun to look around too

Whole Earth Cafe is a vegetarian and vegan friendly health food store/antique store/cafe. They serve chicken and fish. The food is healthy, but healthy in a pretty bland way. I had the tuna salad. It was a generous portion of tuna - which was very light on the mayo (maybe no mayo at all), which was great, and the salad was huge, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about. My fiance had the "salmon burger," which was just a filet of salmon on a bun (without any seasoning or sauce). The food is certainly bland. But we both wanted something super light and healthy before a day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. So, delicious? Not particularly. Healthy and light and kind of what we needed before an active day of hiking? Yeah. (Note: Gatlinburg isn't exactly known for its healthy cuisine, so if you're looking for lighter eats while you're visiting town, this is certainly one of your best bets.)

Great sandwiches, wraps, and sides! A welcome, healthier alternative to the usual suspects in town. Great service and food was ready in a few minutes.

Went in looking for cold/cough supplements and she had exactly what I was needing. Also tried her Wellness Shots. Left with 5 shots for the next couple days. The "Fuego" certainly opened up my sinus and shortened the duration of my cold. Definitely recommend the selection and her expertise was spot on! Thanks

We were delighted to find this gem of a place after a high-speed ziplining adventure at Climbworks! Gluten free options (delicious egg sandwich), wonderful service, charming decor and a wide variety of all-natural groceries as well as gifts and crafts. The owner is a sweetheart. A wonderful place to find some quiet away from the crowd and get re-centered!

Absolute must-visit if you are in Gatlinburg and want healthy food and good coffee. Great selection of organic foods and gifts. Recommend!

It was great to find this place during my vacay. We were looking for vegan options. Although we didn't try the cafe foods, there seemed to be good vegan alternatives and the non vegan foods were organic. It was a quaint shop and I loved the cast irons she was selling. If you are looking for vegan ingredients, this store had them. Even had some Beyond Meat burgers and sausages in the freezer. The prices were comparable to what I am used to paying at home (which is in Maryland). What was disappointing was my daughter bought a cookie (vegan - that is her fave and hard to find in just any store) and it was hard. This is not how it should have been. So it made us wonder how long that had been in stock and made us wonder how long all the other items have been in stock. For this, I give a 4 star. Check it out, though. It's still worth visiting.

I was excited to visit Gatlinburg and find a vegan friendly location, however there was one staff member working and she didn't even acknowledge any customers in the store. I had planned on eating lunch there, but changed my mind. I bought a few vegan health bars to take on a hike and when I opened them, I discovered mold. Because of the store hours I was unable to return to the store for a refund. I wouldn't recommend this store/restaurant. Very disappointing!

Pleasant surprise for a red meat and fried food eating carnivore! We're in Gatlinburg, we want to go on a picnic, we want KFC, but it closed a couple years back and has been replaced by a CiCi's Pizza. What to do? What to do? Me - being - me - I suggest barbeque, beans and coleslaw - shot down. "Hey! Why not CiCi's Pizza?" Again - shot down. "There's a market - how about a pound of bologna, white bread - heavy on the gluten and some American cheese?" This time I was shot down with the addition of a few cuss words. I was outnumbered by four women and a part-time vegetarian - so they chose Whole Earth Grocery Café. My daughter and turn-coat son-in-law (I'm kidding) have eaten her a few times. This is not a vegetarian restaurant per se, but there are plenty of options for such. And what the heck is it about women and chicken salad? It's like their go-to meal. "Hey honey - would you like chicken salad for dinner?" "No - we had that for lunch - and breakfast!" I think there is some kind of law that a woman MUST eat chicken salad whenever they go out as a group. And it is usually at one of those places that has lacy table clothes and Thomas Kincaid art on the walls. I relented and finally agreed. Two lentil burgers are ordered - "a lentil burger?" What kind of animal is a lentil - do they bite - are they wild - does it taste gamey? I've had bison burgers, chicken burgers, hamburgers, pork burgers, but I have never seen lentil meat at Publix. Our group of six order the following: two lentil burgers (medium rare - kidding), a chicken salad wrap in a wheat tortilla, a two chicken salad sandwiches, an egg salad sandwich each of which came with a side. There was one pasta salad and 5 potato salads. Each meal was about $6.50 and included the side items. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choice. I got the wrap since we would be eating on rocks beside a mountain stream. The pasta salad, while it may have been a healthy take on the dish still tasted like most multi-colored spiral pasta salads I have had. All the sandwiches came with artisan lettuce, tomato and red onion. The chicken salad had grapes in it and was delicious! I was told that the potato salad did not taste the same as the last time. It was made with skin on potatoes - how I like it. Most agreed it just needed a little salt if nothing else. We also bought a bag of kettle potato chips fried in avocado oil. The burger eaters really enjoyed them and my daughter offered me the couple of bites she didn't eat - tastes like chicken (kidding - again). It was good and I would not hesitate to order it - should every grass fed cow in the world die suddenly and there was no chance of ever having a hamburger. By now you should get my humor and know that again - I am kidding - oh, which reminds me - I have also had a goat burger. It is my understanding that during busy seasons, they sometimes run out of food. This happen to the kids and that is how we found The Fox & Parrot. They asked the owner if she knew of some other non-chain, non-fast food restaurant and she pointed them to there. For that reason - I love her! This is also a small grocery/gift shop that has healthy options for preparing your own food as well as some handmade garments and local craft items. When we got back into town, I had to counter-act the healthy stuff with a double dip of S'mores ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone from Kilwin's - OK - you can judge me...

We loved this place! Quaint little cafe tucked away in a shopping area. I looked at the reviews and someone suggested the lentil burger wrap. That's what I ate and I really liked it. I had never had veganise so this was the first time to try it and I was surprised that it tasted good. The shop isn't just a cafe there are trinkets, souvenirs, an assortment of tie dye clothing. The owners are nice and helpful. I would go back if in the area again.

The store itself was closed to ensure proper safety measures and we were given our food to go, which was fine by us. I got the lentil burger wrap and my partner got the egg salad wrap. Best shot of wheat grass and tie dye ever. I love to support mom n pop shops. This one was able to accommodate all our dietary needs. Plenty of gluten free bread and pancake mix. Thx for the love it always wins.

An organic oasis of calm. Excellent food, organic coffee, friendly staff all within an eclectic atmosphere of artsy, cabin decor. Great WIFI as well.

What a gem! Whether you are a vacationing hippie, or local health nut, you should stop by. This is an old school health market and health food store, with an excellent cafe, to include vegan options. They tend to have more produce in the growing season.The shop has a great vibe. No. It is not a giant corporate health food version of Walmart. It is just a blessing in this all-you-can-eat Gatlinburg!

The BEST game in town for healthy eating Bar none! Great grocery as well! Highly recommend

It is fine. We both had vegetarian meals and I do greatly appreciate the effort and availability of something remotely healthy in Gatlinburg. If you want to avoid the 100% fried foods in the rest of town then this is one of your only options. They are making strides in a place where very few ppl seem to be knowledgeable about healthy lifestyle.

Great place if you are wanting a healthy meal or are a vegetarian or vegan visiting Gatlinburg. Not only is the cafe good (had the Black Bean Burger it was delish and the pasta salad was to die for). They also have a wide selection of grocery items and cruelty free products! Great little place!

The lunch was really good, came out hot and quick. We had a black bean burger, veggie wrap, pasta salad, and a wheatgrass shot for dessert. The owner/ cook was super friendly, you don't get that too often. We loved it.

We both ate and shopped at Whole Earth, after reading Yelp reviews on healthy spots in the Gatlinburg area. My two kids and I were in the area for spring break, and I am usually a low-gluten, low-meat, organic eater. The kids and I all had a nice (refreshing) lunch, free from pancakes, candy, and all the other horrible food "smut" that the parkway in Gatlinburg peddles. My daughter had a salad, I had a lentil burger wrap, my son had a tuna sandwich. I even picked up some Almond Thins crackers and a good vegetable-based moisturizer, and a fun Dr. Brommer's bubble bath for my kids to use at the hotel. There isn't much to make this a "Grocery" store, but they do have some basics that I recognized and would be happy to have an option to buy. For sale were t-shirts, onesies, etc. all thrift store upcycles tie-dyed in bright colors. Secondhand jewelry, some bric-a-brac, and things like candles and good-smelling smelly goods. If we return to Gatlinburg, we will certainly be back and patronize this intimate spot again, to see what they may have.

Great place! And good prices. Greek salad was very good. But my husbands grilled black bean burger was even better. Will be back!

This truly one of the vest places to eat or buy whole foods in the Smokie Mountains on the Tennessee side! The owner is AWESOME and the cafe within the grocery is SO YUMMY! I use to live and work nearby and are here at least once per week. Now I live in Washington and am here for a visit. Eating here was on my Must Do list! :-)

Love the vegan lentil wrap. Great healthy food. Pick up some fun snacks too, we did for our long drive down to Atlanta.

If it wasn't for Whole Earth I would have no place to eat in Gatlinburg. The food is great and good for you. The store is really cool. If your in search of cast iron cookware, look no further. Jan is the best!

Friendly, cozy, fresh, absolutely yummy, healthy and with great vegan options. Will be eating lunch there every day during our Gatlinburg stay.
