The Bar Cask

An absolutely perfect whisky and cigar bar. The bartenders are incredibly attentive, kind, and funny. Perhaps it was just Japanese attention to detail and service that we as Americans rarely receive in the States, but we truly believe it was more than that. You can tell these gentlemen enjoy, and are very good at, their trade. The prices are not cheap, but the USD is very strong against the Yen right now. Accordingly, we drank several top-notch whiskies, smoked divine Cuban Cohibas, and walked out for about half of what we would have paid in a city like Vegas or LA. The bar was dark and quiet while we were there, which is exactly what we wanted after a 12-hour flight. The Bar Cask is perfection.

3300 yen for two small beers. C’mon.

Overpriced for the quality of drinks. Ordered an old fashioned and served with lemon, lime , and crushed ice. Even if using a high quality whiskey the crushed ice will water down the drink, that’s bartending 101. For the high price should be much better presentation. Maybe they overcharge foreigners?

They have no menu but all the drinks are good. Perfect place for night.
