We had a great time here. Great vibes and absolutely awesome Design. This Service is amazing! The Personal at the front desk, the Concierge and the cleaning Team, everyone was friendly, helpful and always polite. The Pools are great, the View from the Infinity Pool on the rooftop ist great and when you need some shadow at noon you can swim under palms in the second pool. Our room had nice Interieur and everything we needed, including fluffy towels, a soft (Not to soft) bed and a little terace. The only downside was the salty water in the shower. But besides that we would always stay here when in Tulum again.

We loved our stay at Copal and would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Tulum. The staff was super friendly and helping. The room was amazing!! We stayed in an apartment with a balcony facing the pool, a full size kitchen and its own chill out area with a tv. It truly was perfect for our stay and we wish we could stay longer.||It is very convenient located not too far from the city center (about 15 minutes walk), had great parking opportunities, bike rental and great restaurants. ||The hotel is giving super tropical vibes and had an amazing roof top - we’re definitely coming back ☀️

Overall just okay, however I would not return since the room does not have adequate ventilation (Tulum is a very humid place) and there are visible mold growth behind the AC units. You do notice a mildew stench that lingers in the room. We tried to open all the windows to ventilate, but that was not enough for the smell; all of our clothes and luggage also inherited this smell for days after we left as well. Also, there is no fans in the bathroom On a positive note, The service and hotel staff were nice. The hotel grounds is very nice, I enjoyed the jungle vibes and it was quiet. I just wished that the rooms were thoroughly cleaned and the mold problems are addressed. the hotel pool was also nice.

We stayed four nights at Copal. Beautiful environment. We had two rooms. One with a private pool and one with the jungle view. Both were great. The one with the private pool was a little small, but it had a huge patio and its private pool. The location is unique. It’s just about the middle of everywhere. 10 minute walk to town center 10 minute walk to all the hip restaurants and bars and a 10 minute drive to the beach. Room service every day was great. We did not use many of the services but check in and check out was easy. If you have your own transportation, this is a great place to be.

Amazing environment, the resort was very peaceful and relaxing, giving a jungle theme and close to the beach. The beach is about 10mins away. But the resort is pretty close to some fantastic restaurants, there are a couple of bumpy roads but it's no problem with a car. That is only on some paths but all the baths to get into the hotel there is no problem what so ever. Again, everything was fantastic!

We came in off season, and the price was a bargain. It was well worth the price. Mind you we initially opted for a lock off hotel room. It was a little sparse, not much to speak of in terms of room decoration, etc. we upgraded to a large apartment (probably about 900 sf+) for roughly $100 more total for two nights. A bargain. There are more than adequate amenities. Ground floor and rooftop pools, gyms; and restaurants. The sushi restaurant was overpriced and just okay, so unless you don’t want to venture out; I’d try somewhere else: They have services like massages, yoga, etc. also pricey (though maybe they are worth it. We don’t opt because of the prices. $100ish for a 90 minute massage is something we could get back at home for less). Internet was bad in the hotel room. It was good in the large studio. Grounds are like a little jungle. In the off-season, this is a deal, and you can’t go wrong all things considered.

I stayed at Copal Tulum Hotel for 10 days. The atmosphere is nice and the rooms are spacious — but that’s where the positives end. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb before, but I imagine this must be very similar. 1. The room didn’t have a minibar (just an empty fridge). 2. Towels were not changed daily. 3. When the soap and shampoo ran out, they didn’t replace them. 4. They gave us two small bottles of water when we checked in and that was it. They told us that if we wanted more, we had to buy it from them. (Imagine waking up in the middle of the night thirsty — the room doesn’t even have a phone to call for water, so you have to walk all the way to reception.) And the worst part was the food. We booked with breakfast included, but it was honestly disgusting. They even have separate menus. The “included breakfast” menu says 380 pesos, but the portions are tiny and simply disgusting.When I asked if I could order from the regular 380-peso menu, they told me they couldn’t add it to the system. Overall, this hotel is barely 1.5 stars.

We loved our room with private pool! Beautiful sunrise / sunset views. The staff at the downstairs bar were phenomenal and made us special drinks even before checking in. Very accommodating. Thank you Copal for a wonderful stay.
