Wa Jazz for the soul…. Koenji’s shoutengai (shopping street) is a vibrant and eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants. Amongst the mix is Master Yusuke’s Universpunds - an absolute gem. Beautifully curated and laid out. Yusuke’ English is excellent and he is very helpful. Well worth the trip…like of the best places in Japan - the entrance is hidden up a non descript secret stair well 🤣🤣🤣 Enjoy

話によるとフュージョンみたいな新しきジャズを専門に扱うジャズレコード専門店だと言うらしいですが、自分にとってはむしろこうした店のほうが「有りがてぇ〜」と思うサマかもしれません。だって何と言おうこの自分「グローヴァーワシントンｊｒ」やら「ジョージベンソン」やらメチャクチャハマって聴いていたタチなんだもん‼‼　その割には店主がフリージャズ大好き人間でそういうモノばかり取り扱っていたり、いくら古いモノであってもニーナシモンみたいなヴォーカルは結構力を入れているらしいから早い話この店は「オモシロなお店」という一言に尽きる‼‼　という事で。

オルガンに強いアットホームなレコード屋さんです。ライナー無しの国内盤でしたが、音の良い盤を購入出来ました。
