"Feel like a million bucks, frozen mojito in hand Even if you're not a Spanish speaker, you can put two and two together: Milion means 'million.' It's not clear, in this case, exactly what the name refers to - it could be the fact that you tend to feel feel like a million dollars when you're standing on the grand outdoor staircase of this restored mansion, sipping a vibrant emerald-hued frozen mojito from a larger-than-life glass goblet and looking down at the glittering lights and beautiful people in the leafy courtyard below. Or the number 'million' could be a tongue-in-cheek reference to the number of people crowding around the bar after a certain hour on weekend nights, or jockeying for seats on the terrace, or standing in line to use one of the building's few antique bathrooms. Either way, Milion is a must-see in Recoleta, especially in summer, when the space is one of the city's loveliest venues for cocktails. When you're finished with that mojito, ask for the frozen basil daiquiri. You can thank me later."

15 Best Bars in Buenos Aires | Condé Nast Traveler

"This isn't just any bar in any old building. The setting is a stunning Belle Epoque mansion that offers rooms for drinking and lounging. Downstairs is the dining room that spills out onto a open air courtyard with ivy covered walls, leafy trees, and sparkling lights overhead. Up some marble steps and a grand staircase is the first of many high-ceiling rooms with restored oak floors, plush sofas on one end, and a long bar at the other. This place hits all the right notes." - Celeste Moure

This is the perfect place for a date. There's a picturesque patio area with some well placed vines. This black cat walks around like it owns the place, which maybe he/she does. Drinks were delicious. Ceviche with the kernels and tigre leche was yummy. Charred corn was a nice touch. I don't think my fish was the freshest because it was slightly mushy, but I still enjoyed it. Seems like there's plenty of tables.

What I loved 😍 about this place was the ambiance. I would not say that the food is Michelin quality for those who saw that I am giving it five 🌟 but the whole experience made it five stars. They have a very extensive wine "carte", but their food menu is not quite that extensideaf but there's a little bit of everything for everybody. Are waitress was absolutely fabulous. And sometimes we were helped by other people that work there that were absolutely very nice , very sweet , a great experience overall. If you go to see the cats, we only saw one of them for a very brief, moment. They have a free run of a very big area so it is possible. You can spend the whole time there without seeing the 🐈 but then again, it is not a cat restaurant, It's just that they happen to live there 😉. Again.I also encourage people to read up before asking for a steak temp, as we had to return the first offering because someone asked for rare... but in Argentina there are 5 different ways and his rare translate to Azul/blue. Rare/ jugoso was too cooked. So research is key. But we loved the experience. Also the name sounds really fancy. But when you get there, some people are really dressed up and some people are wearing just jeans and a T-shirt.So it is whatever you want to make it , you don't have to go , I'll dressed up. Its also veru bohemian romantic, but if you want to be outside and the more romantic area you have to get there early before 10 pm 😉!

Went for Father’s Day dinner. Food was a good assortment with delicious wine. A major plus, 2 black cats made appearances throughout the night stopping by each table as if they were checking on the quality of the service 🤣. Loved it!!

Ever wonder where the black cats end up? Beautiful outdoor dining and bar area to match their large indoor space. Great spot for a drink and elegant dining.

This place is so beautiful. It has a beautiful, well taken care of garden. The service is great, staff is attentive but what I liked the most was the food. All very authentic flavors and defined dishes. Totally recommend going there

Google
Beautiful place but the food was less than average and the service was terrible.. took almost 45 min to bring the food.. the " Bife de chorizo" was dry and hamburgers were also dry and hard.. Bad meat in Buenos Aires ?.. I will go only for a coffee and the patio as is an old beautiful house

We had a nice dinner here. It´s an informal atmosphere. The fish was really good and the prices are reasonable.

Google
Only based on our service and drinks! Beautiful spot to grab food and drinks but the service was all over the place! No bartender to make drinks and then the ones they could make took 30 min. Ehhh I didn't get the hype.

Yelp
Milion is a cute bar in the Recoleta section of Buenos Aires. It has both indoor and outdoor seating which makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and nibbles on a long summer evening. We went there fairly early (for BA!) at about 6pm and the place was already buzzing, especially with a wedding dinner going on. The bar has an interesting cocktail menu which will surely satisfy a wide range of tastes. We tend to stick to classic cocktails, both of which were great. We ordered some tapas plates. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. The service was fast and friendly without being obtrusive. As with most places of business in BA, the English speaking level of the staff was limited. But with our own limited Spanish we were able to get by just fine.

Yelp
Wonderful experience in every aspect. The host greeted us at the front entrance and was extremely polite and knew the name of the reservation and told us he was expecting us. WOW. Good way to start! Once on the 2nd floor you have different options of seating inside/outside/patio. To snatch one of the best tables in the restaurant you ABSOLUTELY need a reservation. Our server was very nice and professional. I was a bit concerned when he did not write anything down but he never missed a beat and was on top of everything. When the food arrived I honestly did not know whether to eat it or make love to it. It was fantastic! Great place for dinner. Will definitely come back and recommend.

Yelp
While in BsAs, Milion is one of a handful of "classy" bars to visit. Milion is located in an vintage building with Victorian architecture and two-stories of seating with some green space in the back. Located in south Recoleta, easy to walk around the area which is full of shops and cultural points of interest like the cemetery. I went to Milion with a group of friend later in the evening (past 1am) and sat in an area outside on the patio couches. The staff were pretty tried and spotty but did remember who ordered what. The cocktails are the reason to go to Milion. Nice quality and look pretty but they are extremely expensive. Guess you're paying for the ambiance quite literally. I ordered a generic extra dirty martini (to the best of my Spanish capability) which I'd give it B -.Not sure about the food but I'm sure its just as pricey. Other than to say you've been here and getting the opportunity to sit outside there's nothing else to it.

Yelp
If its purpose is to look good and invite you in, then by all means it is there. Though the reasonability of the place is gone. They allow you only to sit at certain tables. We sat on the staircase terrace outside, were told to move because our party size took up too much room. Insofar as that, it's fine--safety. So we moved to the inside, less beautiful, less breezy, but just as inviting. We took seat at a completely empty table alongside three other empty tables, with other people eating in the same room. After we got comfortable, they wanted us to move again. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but this is a completely usable table, with other people sitting at a table just like it. We are dressed nice, admire your place, and are just looking to have uninterrupted conversation alongside some drinks. We are not affecting anyone else. Because of your arbitrary rules, it was no wonder why your restaurant held all those empty tables. Even after one of us spoke to your manager, there was apparently no time to explain why--you just wanted us to move. It could have been a nice experience. But the irrationality destroyed that. Do not come here if you want a place with an open mind.

Yelp
Some of my favorite memories from my three years in Buenos Aires are from this place. It is stunning! You walk into an old-world building, up some stairs, and enter this multi-level antique bar that will make you feel as if you have gone back to old Italy. You may have to wait for a cocktail or glass of wine because this is a hot spot in BA, but well worth it. Once you have your fresh cocktail or glass of Malbec you can opt to sit inside or upstairs at one of the intimate yet integrated tables, or walk outside, and the best is yet to come. The outside back garden is like a little dream. There is a grand staircase that can take you from the terrace, to the garden which has lovely large tables for groups of friends. The walls surrounding you are filled with IVY and it's hard to believe you are in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world. The best place to sit is on the staircase, which is usually filled with other expats or Argentines. The scene is a mix of Expats living in BA, a few tourists, and beautiful Argentines. The fashion is classy and the people watching can't be beat. This is one of my favorite city spots in the world :)

Yelp
Nice location but the staff is terrible. Untrained and unsuited for this job. They can better work as airport luggage handlers. Food is decent.

Yelp
Historic bar in the heart of Buenos Aires , perfect for a romantic date night .. Good selection of cocktails.. Service was okay.. The building was beautiful and the outside part was very nice as well.

Yelp
This is an overpriced bar with very little sitting room around the bar area. The drinks are just ok. There are better bars around for the same price. Try Gran Bar Danzon instead.

Yelp
Location and service are excellent! Some dishes excellent and some more or less. Go for classics and the desserts to experience gourmet food. Cocktails are good but very pricey compared to the dishes. The sommelier is an expert to trust considering the vine card and recommendation.

Yelp
Great happy hour. Terrible service (normal in this part of the world), food is hit and miss. Seafood trio app was horrid. Tuna entree was under seasoned, green beans were marinated with pepper spray I think. Beautiful decor and great location. So, good for a drink, skip the meal.
