This Way is the most beautiful, tranquil Pilates studio in town. You feel transported into a high end space that would exist in a city, while experiencing the feel of jungle as the reformer machines are situated behind large windows that face nothing but jungle. Besides having the most top notch reformers in town, I have frequented Julie Pallesen’s matt pilates classes elsewhere prior to her opening this incredible reformer studio and I have to say she is truly a game changer in the Pilates and wellness community. I find her to be so incredibly great at teaching Pilates in both capacities, while maintaining an environment that feels comfortable and somewhere you want to go back to for so many different reasons .

The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and truly professional — you can feel their experience in every movement they guide you through. The equipment is top-of-the-line, honestly the best I’ve ever trained with anywhere. The studio itself has an amazing vibe: clean, modern, high-end, and the view is just beautiful — it instantly puts you in the right mindset. Every session feels like a perfect combination of focus, flow, and energy. If you’re looking for a Pilates experience that actually elevates your training, this is the place. Absolutely obsessed with this studio. It is hands down the most beautiful Pilates space I’ve ever seen—every detail is intentional, elevated, and stunning. The owner/instructor is truly next level: insanely talented, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. You can feel the care and passion behind everything she does. Every class is challenging, inspiring, and thoughtfully guided, making the entire experience feel special from the moment you walk in. This studio sets a new standard for Pilates. Truly exceptional. I want to come back to Santa just to come back to this studio.

This Way Movement is an incredible studio! It's a beautiful space located right on the main strip, with just 5 machines, so you get a ton of hands-on time and support with your form. Julie is also an absolute beacon of light! Her energy is so calm and uplifting, you really feel comfortable right away. Since the classes are small, she tailors each one to the level of the individuals, even to how your body is feeling that day, so if you are still getting used to the heat or you just came from surfing, she will adjust. The studio also also absolutely stunning! Julie has really done an amazing job with it and the community that she has built ✨

This Way Movement is a gorgeous and intentional space offering not just Pilates but Pilates as movement medicine. Julie is a world class teacher and I’ve travelled and studied with them all! Her precision yet fun approach really holds the space for learning and growth regardless whether you are a beginner or an advanced Practioner. I took a Pilates Reformer class here in Santa Teresa with Julie and it was absolutely amazing! The studio is beautiful and very well maintained and Julie is such a wonderful instructor kind attentive and very professional. The class was perfect from start to finish.
