But when the Bucking Horse Sale rides into town, things can get a little hectic. Without a doubt, the best western event going right now. There is no place else where you can have all of these events and all of these amazing athletes, both human and animal competing. In partnership with the great town of Miles City. This is my 4th year in a row and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Mark me down as an “I’ll be there” rain or shine cause there is no way I would ever wanna miss it.

If you want rustic rodeo and a party hardy moment you need to go at least once. Miles City blocks off a portion of Main Street and it’s just one big party with several bars to choose from. It’s crowded! Street dance. Open container is allowed in that parameter. It’s an experience.

We had an absolute riot! Great concert by Jerrod Nieman on Thursday night. Friday was a wild horse race which has to be seen to be believed, bucking bulls and a bull auction. Saturday racing with wild and thoroughbred horses, saddle and bareback broncs, sheep shearing. Sunday more of the same. The art show and sale in town had some stunning pieces. There were vendors for all things western, street dances and great food. Things that appeal to all ages, we had so much fun we are looking at hotels for next year already! Book early!
