Rajat Suresh and Jeremy Levick’s Grub Street Diet

"A plant-based burger made from mushrooms, lentils, and vegetables that the speaker returns to; it stands out amid many disappointing veggie patties and is sought as a soy-free alternative to avoid certain stereotypes." - Chris Crowley

Ibwaa traveling through Pennsylvania for a business and personal trip. I stopped here ansbmay have found one of my favorite places. Everything onntge menublooked delicious, but when I received the food I continued to be impressed. The juicy Lucy was delicious ansbcooked perfectly. The nachos were phenomenal ajs I am very picky about nachos. This location is beautiful and I am looking forward to coming back during the summer to enjoy the entire property. We were greated when we walked in the door and our server was very attentive and helpful.

Nice place: fireplace, big windows (pretty with the light snow that was falling), comfortable chairs. The TVs jarred a bit; felt like someone on staff wanted it to be a sports bar, but there was opposition to the idea and it wasn't fully carried out. Service was good, attentive and knowledgeable. The food...the poutine came in a bucket, which was kind of fun, but a lot of the cheese wound up in the bottom. The gravy - which was really good - came in a cruet, so you could apply it yourself, which I liked. The actual fries were delicious. But the burgers, which are the main hype for the place, literally in the name, were disappointing. They weren't bad, and the brioche roll and Goot Essa cheese were quite good. But the burger itself (I had the "Wagyu beef") was just... bland. It was rare, as requested, but not particularly juicy or flavorful. I've had better burgers at dive bars, like the Frosty Hook in Spring Mills. Ultimately left feeling disappointed. It was like going to see a Broadway show that's centered on the main character - the burger! - and we got the understudy.

Food was delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had. There were a lot of unique and yummy entree options. Side salad options included a smaller version of any of their large salads. Tried two of them and they were both very good. Service was great. I was worried that as a golf course restaurant it would be stuffy but it was very welcoming, fast service, and accommodating.

Mitch our server was amazing! Extremely attentive and professional. Food was great and you can tell how much work they put into each dish. Highly recommend the pickle fries!!

Wow what a mountain of fries for the table. Tasty, hot and a ton of then. I did one of the signature burgers which was cooked perfectly and the toppings were a good blend of flavors. A small but nice selection of beer varieties.

We visited The Field Burger & Tap as a party of five while in town for a graduation, and it was a great choice! The food was flavorful and memorable. We started with the truffle fries—crispy and seasoned just right. The candied bacon was a standout: perfectly balanced with brown sugar, cayenne, honey drizzle, and scallions—absolutely delicious. The steak sandwich was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the Caesar salad topped with hot chicken tossed in buffalo sauce was a great twist on a classic. We also enjoyed the giant fried pickle spears—crunchy and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is set on a beautiful golf course, giving it a relaxing and scenic atmosphere. Great food, great service, and a perfect spot for any occasion!

Ate dinner there last night. My burger tasted outstanding and was cooked to perfection. Some of the other meals were pierogies and kielbasa, which was a little light on the meat. The seafood chowder was delicious but not quite hot. We ordered a bucket of table fries to share and while the taste was good, it almost seemed like they were fried a second time. Grace, our server, was attentive and prompt. All in all a nice casual dining experience. Looking forward to our next trip.
