"Why we love it: A wellness-centric resort with a luxury spa for the adults and multiple pools for the kids The Highlights: - An authentic Ayurveda Center for balancing spa treatments - Three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, and a Jacuzzi - Six on-site dining and drinking destinations to please the whole family The Review: Surrounded by more than seven acres of greenery on the small island of Gozo, this wellness-focused resort offers the ultimate escape from larger, busier Malta. The five-star hotel has 140 rooms and suites, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, and six restaurants and bars, though the highlight is most definitely the spa, which comprises one of the largest Ayurvedic centers in the Mediterranean. Here, guests can indulge in a variety of Eastern and Western treatments, take complimentary yoga classes multiple times a week, or simply make use of the facilities, which include two indoor heated pools, a Jacuzzi, relaxation areas, and a steam chamber. Standard and deluxe rooms offer ample space to spread out with seating areas, balconies, and marble bathrooms, while suites take things to the next level with sweeping views of the hillside or pools. If you’re traveling with a group, spring for the two-bedroom family suite, which even includes a kitchenette and dining area. Across all the guestrooms, design is traditional with modern accents, making for a stylish stay."

The hotel was a classy retreat away from the hustle and bustle of more traditional tourist spots. The room was very comfortable, with tea making facilities and drinking water on tap. Housekeeping was very efficient and reception were very quick to respond to any requests. Members of staff were friendly and eager to help and food was well prepared, if a little limited in choice. Except for breakfast which was exceptional with a wide variety of food for all tastes. There was even honey from the honeycomb and home made preserves. Everywhere was super clean and the gardens well tended.

We spent a great family holiday at the Kempinski Gozo with our two children and really enjoyed our time there. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful – always attentive and willing to make sure everything was just right. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything feels calm, clean, and of high quality – from the rooms to the pools and gardens. We also appreciated how family-friendly the atmosphere was, while still keeping a relaxing and elegant vibe. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection and fresh ingredients. One small suggestion would be to include a little rotating corner with daily changing items to bring a bit more variety. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with excellent service and a great team. We’d happily come back.

The Kempinski Hotel, Gozo, impressed us as a remarkably luxurious hotel. We travelled with Jet2’s ‘indulgent escapes’ package, little realising quite how indulgent it would be! The facilities at the hotel are excellent, especially the gym and spa, the restaurants are superb and the pools, bars and lounge areas are so well appointed as to delight the senses. Our room was lovely and diligently serviced by efficient and friendly staff. We felt really spoilt, and even though it was out of season, there were enough guests at the hotel to create a convivial atmosphere. A great experience.

Great experience at this hotel in Mid October. Coming from America, the service was exceptional, very attentive staff, lovely grounds, the spa is wonderful, had a great massage and use of the range of facilities there. The location is also very easy to get popular spots on the island like Ta Pinu, and Dwejra Bay, and many other spots. I had booked this as a sort of refuge after a busy few weeks running around, glad I did.

The hotel is luxurious, the room comfortable, breakfast great. I only have 2 complaints: 1 - choice of restaurants. Everything was so fancy! We just wanted a normal meal, but everything on the menu was too posh, with weird ingredients. If you are into fancy food - this is the place for you. But if you have kids and want just a hearty meal, you will struggle. 2 - kids are not allowed in the jacuzzi. Kids are not allowed in the inside pool after 5 pm or in the sauna - ever. Our kids are well-behaved, not sure why them being in the jacuzzi with us could be a problem for anyone.

My wife and I spent 5 nights here in November and couldn’t have asked for a better hotel on the smaller island of Gozo. The property, staff, and amenities were all top-notch, and we especially loved the spa facilities—especially the heated indoor pool. We want to give a big shout-out to the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay both memorable and carefree. Mayuree, Alessio, Angelica, and Amber were fantastic when helping us plan activities, and they were absolute lifesavers when the airline lost our luggage. The team was there for us morning and night, and thanks to their support our bags showed up a day or two later without stress. Special mention goes to Gost, who was completing an internship through school—such a great addition to the team.

An absolute treat of a Hotel. The staff was so very careful to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They made our two little boys feel right at home. Clean big rooms, will wonderful balconies. Pools had plenty of chairs and space. Food in the restaurants was fresh delicious and very reasonably priced. Parking is included and is shaded, with hotel being quite central to your adventure needs. Nothing was more then a 20 minute drive. Will come back, I love Gozo and this hotel and people.

My Experience at Kempinski Hotel Gozo This is not my first time visiting the Kempinski Hotel Gozo, which clearly shows how satisfied I am with every stay. The hotel truly offers everything you could ask for — excellent facilities, exceptional service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I have never found anything to complain about, and each visit only reinforces my positive impression. For anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with highly professional service, this is definitely the right place to stay.
