Nation's Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies

Came in with my mom who always talks about this place, so my honest review is it is really good! Love how fresh everything was, you can see them cooking in the back. Clean restaurant would recommend

Wonderful comfort food. Never heard of this place before going. Huge portions for breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Made quickly and nice big open eating area..staff were friendly. Nice bathrooms and ample parking. Easy off thr freeway and back on.

I love nations and we just recently moved to Lodi and we love coming here! It’s so clean and the employees are super nice. The food quality is 100%! I prefer coming here than the Stockton location! Karina is also super nice, she will always greet you with a smile!

We had a great experience here! Our server, Karina, was really friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. I ordered the grilled chicken and dipped it in the BBQ sauce—so good! My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger meal and a banana crème pie on the side, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, great food and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Baby and child friendly, customer service excels and they go out of their way to aid . The dessert is amazing and the onions rings. I enjoy the beautiful table decor. You do have to wait a little for food but it’s fresh and worth it. We were even given samples of some of the pies. Bathroom was cleaned and they have a diaper change station. The fries are a bit basic but that is the only downside. The location is safe and decent parking.

I ave been gong to Nations for over 40 years. When you have that craving for a burger or pie, Nations is the place to go. This new location did not disappoint. It was all Delish.

Best Burger I've had in a long time. Patty was superb. Fries were thick and crispy. I'm a big yea drinker and they had amazing fresh brewed tea. Friendly service. Great experience!

Food is mediocre, bland flavor. Stay away from the fountain soda, especially lemonade and sprite. It tasted old, like they don't clean the soda spouts or that sodas were spoiled/expired. Friendly service. We were the only customers for a while, so it was very quiet.

HUGE. Seriously, come hungry because "giant" isn't just a name. Plus, the prices are totally reasonable, especially considering the amount of food you get. If you're looking for a burger that hits the spot every single time, Nation's Giant Burgers is the place to be. Five stars all the way!

The food was amazing and service was very cool. Would recommend. The sandwiches tasted really good as well as the pie yummmm.

I had doordashed and have been to the Stockton location a couple times so this was my first time in the. Lodi location, it is apparently brand new and I like this location over the Stockton one because it's VERY clean, very nice! The girl that helped us was SO sweet I found out you can make a whole cake and mix and match 4 pieces of pie or cheesecake into one cake. OMG what a dream. I did blueberry cheesecake, whipped cream lemon pie, cherry cheesecake, whipped cream chocolate cream pie pieces all into one !! Alas my hungry self DUG into it so I didn't get a pic but I did get their last slice of strawberry cheesecake on the side and absolutely delectable!! Not to mention their burgers SO GOOD!!! 10/10 by farrrr!!! Cannot WAIT to return!!!

The staff here was very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was a huge issue. The condiment bar was filthy and clearly hadn't been wiped down in a while, with dishes and garbage piled high. When I sat down, my table was sticky with syrup and crumbs, which I had to clean myself before eating. For the price point, the food itself was mediocre at best--not worth what they're charging. The final straw was when I went to pour syrup on my pancakes and two ANTS came out of the bottle. At that point, my appetite was gone. While the staff is polite, the lack of cleanliness is unacceptable and honestly feels like a health code violation. I won't be returning.

Pies / cheesecakes are the best here. Had to get four different slices because I couldn't decide. All are fire! The girl helping us was really nice and on it! It was a quiet vibe tonight which was nice we were in and out fast. Definitely coming back!!!

Nations is hands down my go-to burger spot! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick every time. My order has never been wrong, which I really appreciate. The burgers are HUGE (seriously, you won't leave hungry) and always hit the spot when I've got a craving. And the pies... wow. Absolutely amazing. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out!

Dani greeted me with a smile. She is from California and so am I. Dani was curious and friendly.

We got a classic hamburger with only mustard and onions, a harvester burger with everything, 2 fries and 2 drinks. My Mom's hamburger had a bone or something in it and it was so soggy and off putting that she couldn't finish it. The buns were smashed and soggy, even though they'd been toasted. My veggie burger was slimy and came with a gigantic glob of mayo and no other condiments. The fries weren't salted, but they weren't disgusting like the burgers. We will never be coming back to this or any location ever again, worst burger ever!

Love getting late night pie here given most things close so early, esp chocolate creme! Pro-tip: One of the workers mentioned it's cheaper to buy a half-pie than two slices of the same flavor ;)

It was ok. Expected more to be honest. Wife had the sliders and I had the three egg breakfast. Super friendly service and nicely refreshed dining area.

Restaurant was clean and great customer service. We waited almost 20mins for our dine in order. Food, not good. Way too much mayo, the cheese wasn't melted on the burgers, and there is NO seasoning on the burgers. Basic, plain, over priced food. Definitely a one and done for our family. The manager offered us a free piece of pie if we scanned the QR code on the receipt and did a review. We did not!

Y'all are sleeping on this place for breakfast. If you have a big morning appetite you have to come get a 3-egger! Great service. Clean restaurant. Excellent food.

Finally had the chance to have lunch there today. About half full seating inside. Employee taking order was very pleasant. As line quickly built behind me, I could feel the stress behind the counter. The look of A few cooking to see the line looked worried. It took 20 minutes to get burgers and fries and they were fantastic. Hopefully more employees are added along with an additional register. Stockton has a few and this helps move customers along.

I placed an online order and gave ample time for it to be ready before my pick-up time. It was at least 30 minutes ahead. I arrived, and it wasn't ready. I was told that they like to make orders fresh. Well, then why offer online ordering?!! So there I stood for another 15 minutes waiting. I received my bacon burger and fries. As many of us do, I wanted to eat a few fries right away in the car. The so-called fresh fries were not crisp or very warm at all, and there was no salt on them either. Tasteless. The burger was terrible as well. It was so dry and burnt around the edges and it tasted like old griddle grease. For over $12 for a burger, one would expect something much better. This was my first visit here, and seemingly my last. I filled out the online customer support form with my thoughts. It asked on the form if I would like to be contacted about the visit. I said yes. It's been a week and nobody has replied. Yes, I could have called the location, I guess. But I assumed filling out the form would be best and that they would let the location know how terrible it was. I would think they would want to acknowledge dissatisfaction so that a customer might return. It was a total waste of money to eat here as a lot of my order went in the trash. I have heard others say that they were disappointed with the food quality and service. It doesn't appear that they are very busy any time I've driven by. I'm not sure how long this location can last when there are other great options in town.

First time here. My husband wanted a burger, so when I saw breakfast all day, it was perfect for both of us. Actually what caught my eye was a photo of the pies from someone else! We got here and the pie case was full of a variety of delicious pies. Definitely didn't disappoint! We both loved our food. Neither of us could finish our meals. Anxious for the pie. He had the blueberry cheesecake and loved it. I had their seasonal special peach crème pie. It was delicious and just what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The staff was friendly, and the dining area was clean! Thanks to Nationwide, we enjoyed our dinner! Highly recommend!

I believe this location is pretty new and it had ample parking in the morning although it shares the parking lot with the surrounding businesses. Came in for breakfast. Can't go wrong with any of the standard breakfast foods here. They have pretty hefty portions.

I've eaten at Nations for over 40 years. You know what you get, a solid burger and great pies. I wanted breakfast food for dinner, this was in walking distance from my hotel. Cleanliness 5 stars. Ordering experience 5 stars. Food, I've got to go with 3 stars. I ordered eggs over easy, hash browns and sausage. The food was slopped on the plate. There was a cooked stringy piece of onion in my hash browns. My eggs were over hard, this was my biggest issue. I didn't have the time to have them remake it so I ate what I could and left. I believe they would've fixed it if I would've asked, so that's a plus. However, eggs over easy should be eggs over easy. I checked my receipt, it said eggs over easy.

Tried the new Nations in Lodi. I hadn't been to one for many years and was excited to enjoy it like before. The banana cream pie was so so good, along with the onion rings, Burgers could have used seasoning for better taste.

This Nation's is staffed by the nicest and most welcoming people. Tiffany welcomed each person upon entering and thanked them all as they left. The food is great and the restaurant is very clean.

Stopped by Nation's in Lodi and was seriously impressed! The food was delicious, fresh, and served warm, exactly what you hope for in a burger joint. The burger was massive compared to most places in town, and you can tell they don't skimp on quality. It's definitely worth every penny. Also, random but worth mentioning, the men's bathroom was super clean and smelled really good, which isn't something you can say about most fast-casual spots. Big thumbs up for that extra touch of cleanliness. I'll definitely be back. Great job, Nation's!

Very good food we've been here multiple times however, the fries sometimes are undercooked. Need to cook a little longer. Otherwise highly recommend. Also the tables sometimes aren't cleaned up but all can be fixed.

It guts me to say this but save your money and go elsewhere. I REALLY wanted to like this place. But I don't see myself coming back. You really do not get your money's worth here. The burgers are not giant like the traditional Nations burger were and they're pretty bland too. So if you do try it make sure to grab salt/pepper packs that are readily available. I don't know what it was about the cheese but it's not to my liking. Something about it is just not it. It's real thick and not melted. Not enjoyable at all. I do have to commend the staff, they are nice and friendly. That's why I gave 2 stars. It's a clean restaurant and the staff regularly cleaned up the tables, floors and condiments station. I know it's a new spot for them so hopefully over time it'll get better.

Food here was so good!! The patty melt was my favorite and the onion rings were fire. We even got to sample a couple bite size pies while we waited for our food. Thanks Nations!

Burgers are bombastic baby fantastic. Onion rings too. The pies are the best in the business. Great spot for breakfast as well. Great location right off the freeway. Friendly staff and a nice clean environment. Highly recommended!

Today we arrived here in Lodi, and we decided to try Nation's burgers for our first time. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and the cash register named Gina. She gave my husband and me some of the best customer service we've ever had and even suggested the best burgers they had. Definitely going to become a regular here after our friendly service from Gina and the staff!

There pie was so good ,and also the place smelled delicious the lady that attended us was super nice and my little nephew also love the pie.

We decided to try the new Nations in Lodi while we were in the area. First of all the prices are quite expensive.. a single cheeseburger no drink no sides is $9.10! Next with no one in the restaurant except for two customers who had finished eating, we waited 20 minutes for one meal deal which was a burger fries and a drink and one single burger..when we finally got our order the fries were only warm the burgers were an absolute mess .. cheese that looked like those terrible cheese squares was not even melted, too much sauce .. sloppy tomatoes and lettuce falling out.. We paid $30.00 for this very messy disappointing meal..there is no way they will ever compete with In n Out! This will be another failed burger place in that spot.

The food was good and our server Tiffany was super sweet. The Nations is very clean and spacious.

Again, there is great service and high quality of food on a very busy Sunday. Tiffany, the lead manager, went above and beyond for me .. had a glitch in my cheek that she fixed immediately...Addi had great customer service, and the gentleman cooking was the BEST ! Pies arrived the best

From the time I entered this place till the time I left approximately 22 minutes, not one person behind the counter, came out and bused or cleaned any of the tables I had to clean my own table to be able to have someplace to sit down after ordering the giant burrito discovered it was completely tasteless not even salt or pepper With two bites. The burrito broke completely apart certainly not worth $15 disappointing because nations as a whole as a chain as a decent reputation this particular location very obviously let that down.

The food was terrible. We had a breakfast plate. Cold. Had Cowboy burger, onion rings were nasty, too thick over cooked, and when I bit into it the onion came out like a slimy worm. Coffee and soda was good.

Excellent service and great pies - their cream coconut is my favorite!! Thanks to their free drink refills, Nations is home away from home - sometimes office space where I grade or work on short vignettes. Shout out to Addi - great service to complement the pies.

Nations have always had superb food. Glad that there is a location close to home now. Will frequent often.

Breakfast was great friendly staff and great service my sister and I loved it she was down from Oregon to visit and I took her there.

food was delicious, food came out quick and hot. customer service was good. atmosphere clean and nice a quiet.

Our first time ... had breakfast, fast order taking, great coffee, pancakes were fluffy and just right, bacon just like I like it crispy. Servers were pleasant. Definitely coming back for what they're known for hamburgers. Se ya soon!!!
