Small but lovely place. We were served by Emilie — very friendly, cheerful, and quick. We didn’t have to wait for any dish. We came from Barcelona, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I recommend the vegetable soup with gratinated hazelnuts and the entrecôte. SUPER TOP, truly traditional

Such a cute little parisian restaurant we got recommended by some locals. The service was quick, helpful and efficient. We loved that the menu was on a movable board, made the dining experience more fun. We started with very yummy creamy burrata with fresh bread. The best part of the main course was the pomme anna and the creamy sauce. We had a great experience here.

Restaurant Au Rêve in Paris offers a delightful dining experience. It's said that Jacques Brel used to be a frequent guest, adding a touch of historical charm to the place. Amazing local place. The staff was lovely and the food was exactly as it should be! I ordered snails and beef tartar. The snails had some of the best garlic oil and pesto I've ever tried, creamy and rich. The escargot themselves were perfectly cooked and were not chewy. The beef tartar had a savory and light flavor which wasn't overpowered by the rest of the ingredients. The staff was polite, friendly, and jovial! They invited me back for breakfast and even spoke English with me while I butchered French. Fair warning, this is a local cafe and fills up very quickly in the evening time. Call ahead for reservations or stop in btween busy hours, it is well worth it!

It’s a nice and cozy place. We stopped here for a sip of coffee and it was really nice and bitter. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home - they happily spoke English with us. Definitely recommend this little local gem.

Wow for this very small place. No tourists, all locals. Few menu options but all four plates we had were very well prepared and delicious. You get attentive service (since the place is so small) - only turn down that cost it a star: one of the worst restrooms in Paris, unfortunately.

We were told it's a great local haunt for lunch, but its disappointing; the food is tasteless, and staff is the Paris stereotype of rude. The 50-something waitress ignored us for a half hour to instead flirt with a mid-day drunk at the bar. Then she treated us like a bother when we asked for salt and pepper and made very rude remarks in French to other staff about us (she did not realize I am from Quebec but speak English for my wife...) The worst experience we had anywhere in Paris; go elsewhere for lower prices, better food, and better service; who wants to spend 70 Euros to get insulted over a blasé lunch?

If you want local French food in the evening with French people this is the place to go too. Cannot fault the food, very friendly excellent atmosphere. Good luck with getting a table as it’s very popular.
