There are always great, visually striking street installations and photo zones here, changing with seasons and holidays. The staff is friendly and attentive — among the best. Some ice cream flavors, like “Kyiv Cake,” are genuinely authentic and tasty.
The space should be larger. It gets very loud; once occupancy hits around 40%, having a normal conversation becomes difficult.
Desserts: prices are seriously overpriced. Everything is excessively sweet — sugar is the foundation of absolutely everything here, probably even the regular dishes (I might be mocking a bit here 😉👌).
I’d wanted to try Sicilian cannoli here for a long time. I’ve been to Italy many times, where it’s balanced in sweetness, airy, and crisp.
What I was served under the name “cannoli” was an insult to the Sicilian masterpiece. Instead of delicate mascarpone, there was a dense, cloying filling closer to margarine. The shell was not crisp — it was damp, thick, rubbery, and so tough it barely broke even with a fork. Taking a bite was almost impossible. This was not cannoli — it was a parody. A true classic of Italian pastry culture was simply destroyed here.
I do not recommend this dessert.
Final score:
10 stars for the installations,
3 for the atmosphere,
and minus 10 for the so-called “quasi-cannoli.”
