Ralph's Restaurant

Very nice restaurant with low, cozy lighting and a great atmosphere. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The food was good — nothing extraordinary, but overall we enjoyed our meal and everything was tasty. The dessert at the end was also delicious and a perfect way to finish the evening!

The coffees were so good & worth the price! Not too expensive, i paid 6.5€ for a big cup. The vibe in the cafe was also very cosy. It is a small coffee place & because the waiting line took to long, we could get take away coffee.

We finally made it to Ralph’s for dinner with a good friend who lives in Paris. We don’t spend much time in Saint-Germain, but it’s a beautiful area worth exploring. We started with cocktails, the Polo Punch, the French 173, and a Jardin Secret mocktail. All were well balanced and set the tone nicely. For appetizers, we shared the lobster rolls (5/5). They came as four pieces, generously filled with minced lobster and just the right citrus acidity to cut through the richness of the buttered brioche bun. Flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. For mains, we all went with the burger, one of their specials (4/5). Cooked perfectly medium-rare, topped with cheddar, crispy bacon, lettuce, onions, pickles, and sauces. Every bite was excellent. Sides included perfectly crispy fries and a very tasty garlic-sautéed spinach. Dessert was the walnut brownie (4.5/5) with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The walnuts gave it a great crunch, and the pairing with ice cream and sauce was spot-on. The restaurant itself is cozy (bordering on cramped) and classy, with warm wood tones, art-lined walls, and a central fireplace that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Although the outdoor patio was closed due to rain, it looked like the perfect spot for a sunny lunch. All in all, we left satisfied with the food, service, atmosphere, and the evening. Overall rating around 4/5

We tried the seared Sea Bass with minted spring peas & lemon butter sauce, and it was absolutely delicious 😋. The crispy calamari & zucchini were good, but they were served without any sauce — a tartar sauce would have made them even better. The burrata salad with squash was the highlight of the meal: fresh and perfectly prepared. The prices are a bit high, but the service is outstanding, which made the overall experience very enjoyable.

The place itself is incredibly beautiful, BUT there were a lot of downsides, and it’s not clear whether it’s worth overpaying. First of all, the man working at the reception was extremely unpleasant, rude, and never э эх эхsmiled — it felt like we were uninvited guests in his home rather than customers in a restaurant. The rest of the staff, however, were great. Moving on… For a restaurant of this level and with such prices, the food was very ordinary (the chicken breast in the Caesar salad was so dry it felt like it had just been taken out of the fridge after sitting there for a while). And in the oysters — which, by the way, cost €48 for a plate of six — we found shell fragments that crunched horribly on the teeth. That can only mean one thing: they were poorly opened. If you want to sit in a beautiful setting, then this is definitely the place for you. But if you’re looking for delicious food without overpaying, a classic French restaurant would be a much better choice.

The burger and scrambled eggs were very good. Staff are friendly and great ambience outside. The cheesecake dessert was delicious!

A charming spot with a lovely garden that can brighten up your afternoon. Unfortunately, the space feels a bit overcrowded with furniture for such a small garden. If you’re looking to enjoy French cuisine, keep in mind that the menu focuses mainly on American dishes. Still, you can make lighter, tasty choices to avoid breaking your diet.

Stopped by Ralph’s for a pre-dinner drink. Good service and very nice cocktails. A pity the winter cold kept us from enjoying the beautiful terrace.

Very cute place. Glad we made reservation for lunch. The staff was very attentive and the place was pretty lively. We sat halfway between the outdoor patio and inside the dining room. It was different but nice. The table next to us were from the states as well and we had nice interaction with them as the table was close enough to hear each other's conversation. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars because of the ambiance, service and food being really good. But, for American type food, it is way overpriced. Also, I had to try 3 wines prior to deciding one. I was surprised as we were in Paris and they have a very expensive wine list. Although the portion was large; which made up for having to going through so many to find the right one. I would visit again to try breakfast or brunch as we actually wanted to get earlier reservation for the blueberry muffin...that seems to be so famous.

Great place for a lunch inbetween some shopping. Amazing food, great ambiance and pleasant staff!

Ralph's was fantastic. I have been to the polo bar in NYC so coming here to this restaurant I had high expectations. It's really hard to beat the meh York location, but they served me one of the best ahi tuna appetizers that I've ever had in my life. I still can't get over how pure and fresh it tasted. I've had ahi in Hawaii and this was better. The food was excellent per the usual at a Ralph Lauren restaurant. You really can't go wrong here. Every seat in the restaurant has a unique feel, which made it a special treat for me and my wife. If I ever end up back in Paris I will definitely be visiting here again!

Cute cafe by Ralph Lauren. It is very tiny, only 6 tables total so get here early. But the coffee and breakfast treats are wonderful.

Ralph Lauren's restaurant has an outdoor patio that sparkles when the weather is nice. Inside the restaurant is decorated in dark leather and saddles are hung high on the walls. As a former equestrian I appreciated the décor. I had two servers when I visited for dinner that caused a bit of confusion. For example, I asked for tap water and got bottled water (and charged for it!). I also gave my drink order to one server and the other came by a couple moments later to request it again. When asked if I wanted to see a dessert menu, I declined and asked for my bill. Moments later the same server came over with the dessert menu. For which, I once again declined and asked for my bill. So, that's probably the main reason for the one-star deduction. I'm not sure if they were trying to upsell me or it was carelessness, but either way service was off. For dinner I had the Cesar salad with chicken. It was fine. Nothing particularly special, but also not bad either. Ralph's has a coat check and if you've been out shopping, they are also happy to check your bags for you too.

Okay this was our last dinner in Paris and it was such a treat. The vibes were immaculate. We felt like we were dining in a rustic hunting lodge mid winter. I had the best margarita I've ever had (even state side). Everything else was top notch. I definitely recommend the lobster rolls to start and the filet for dinner. The mashed potatoes were also to die for!

Walked in on a Thursday night without a reservation and were able to get seated on the bar side (table for two). However, we got there just in time, because soon after people were arriving and weren't able to be seated. The courtyard is very charming and the inside is just as nice. We ordered the burger and it was perfectly cooked and a large portion. Our waiter was very polite and the service was quick. The menu wasn't anything too different, but I'd still recommend it.

Terrible customer service. Impossible to make a Thanksgiving day reservation -- called 5 times and emailed 5 times and Charlene Caderby and team never responded.

Sad to give this beautiful spot such a low rating; the location and atmosphere was wonderful and the latte was just fine. But the interactions were abysmal. I tried to go for a coffee one afternoon around 4:15 and was told the kitchen was closed; I mentioned I just wanted a coffee and a little break but they said no, they were completely closed from 4-7pm to get ready for dinner service (though this contradicted their website). I asked what time I would be able to come for just a coffee or a cocktail as I was staying in the area but my meals were pretty much all set. I was told to come between noon-4pm or after 7pm. I know just having a drink is something they do as I'd seen it on many of the reviews here. A few days later before a late lunch I stopped by just after noon for coffee before some shopping - I was one of two tables at the time - and was told no I couldn't just get coffee, I could only stay if I was having a meal. I explained my previous conversation to them and that I wouldn't take long (and as I mentioned) they were empty but was still rejected. I had lunch plans so I left. I went back later, around 4:30, and was able to order of a coffee with no issue but the women who had turned me away earlier the same day avoided me. She'd suggested that maybe they didn't understand because of language, but I can assure you they did as I make sure to confirm and reconfirm what each of us was saying. I wanted to go because it had been recommended to me by a friend, and as I said, it was a beautiful space for a respite from the hot weather but the hassle made it a headache. Once I finally did get service the latte was a latte and the caramel corn was good. The saving grace, and only reason I might consider returning, was the space . My server was nice too but my experience had already been soured. Another staff memento (not my server) gave my a comically small amount of water when I asked (for the second time after never receiving it) for tap water...it was in the 90s and he didn't even fill the glass half way...

My mom and I are regulars at RL in Chicago so we decided on this trip to Paris we would give Ralph's a shot... I'm so glad we did! We went in February and the courtyard had such a classic RL vibe but with a Parisienne elegance. We ate inside in the dining room which felt like eating in an expensive French Chateau with the large fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The ambiance is really special and it's fun to eat American food in Paris. They start you off with these delectable fried green olives that I could not stop eating. I went with the pumpkin soup for my starter and a burger for my main. The burger was juicy and almost as good as the one at RL in Chicago. Overall it was a good experience and I would return but it isn't in the same league as the RL in Chicago.

If I was reviewing the place on just the attractive courtyard, the impeccable look of the store, the attention to detail etc etc , it would be 5 stars but... I came here for lunch. We were seated in the courtyard on a beautiful day during Paris Fashion Week. We ordered a lobster roll to start and had burgers and a number of glasses of wine. Our waiter had a cursory knowledge of English. In addition to that we never saw the waiter after the order. Three burgers and fries are in need of more than one tiny ramekin of Ketchup. Desperate for any service I flag down a guy who says yes of course, never to be seen again. Aside from the poor service, a lackluster tasting,OVERDONE burger was the attitude of the staff. There was an Arab family, husband, wife and 2 young girls in matching straw hats, very nice. When the wife asked if the umbrella could be adjusted to block the sun , she said NO. Then left. This is inexcusable behavior , she should have been fired on the spot. That are many places to eat in Paris that are expensive and chic, but this one can be passed by.

We arrived at 1600 for a drink from the bar and after 25 minutes my wife went inside the bar and asked for someone to come take our order. Unexpectedly poor service considering where we are.

I am happy to say that Ralph has improved since I was here last. Our waiter was attentive. Our food prepared to our liking, but if the banned smoking I would give them 5 stars!

Hamptons in Paris! Just when you've had one too many pots of hot chocolate at Cafe de Flore, across the street you'll find this somewhat hidden courtyard - all American with a bit of French service. Elegant decor inside the restaurant. Beachy vibe and elegant al fresco dining at the courtyard. Ralph's never disappoints! Always true to his style! Lobster salad is delectable - the tomatoes are so insanely fresh & robust! 5-star Chicken & Mash. Outstanding service from the sommelier to the servers. Look for Clemence! :-) Such a memorable dining experience. I slept very well that night!

It was our last full day in Paris. We made a late lunch reservation for 3:30 PM. It was 78 degrees outside and we sat on the patio. It was perfect! My husband enjoyed his burger. I had a selection of veggies and some fries. If you are familiar with The Ivy in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood, this will feel the same. LOVED.

This has to be one of the WORST customer experiences I've ever endured. It took 20 minutes for our waiter to come over and greet us and a little over an hour for our entrees (2 burgers). When we asked for the check, it took another 20 minutes to come. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy whatsoever. Will not be returning and is NOT worth the prices.

A pleasant surprise considering it is París and there is plenty of other great cafes around Saint Germain des Pres. But Ralph's place is very nice and a bit different with an internal patio (most cafes in the area face the street). Cocktail options are top notch and the traditional American fare is actually pretty good. It may be a bit pricie, but an early dinner in that patio at 65 degrees is totally worth it.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch with a reservation on Saturday. It was kind of weird when we first got there. We didn't know how to get into the restaurant because you have to walk through a courtyard p/patio and there's a podium like we were supposed to be seated. There was a guy Ina Ralph Lauren suit outside and he could have easily been a customer shopping but it turned out he worked in the restaurant. So why couldn't he have helped us? We finally got to the restaurant and they found our reservation and asked for our coats. I was wearing a light padded Burberry jacket that I could have kept on but they wanted it off. Awkward. But it gets worse!! Another asshole in a suit comes and basically pushes by me. As a photographer, I always have a camera around my neck. He pushed my very expensive Sony A7 to the point the strap swiveled around my neck. I had a huge lens too so he could have just said excuse me? This asshole turns out to be the guy taking us to our table and he has the audacity to go, "nice cam! Is that the A7?" WHAT A JERK! But moving on, the rest of the meal was fine, almost pleasant hence the four stars. We were seated in the corner seats which was by far the best seats in the house. The whole restaurant is stunning and decked out in Ralph Lauren designs, even the servers. We ended up spending 127€ for lunch which is kind of outrageous but you have to do it once here. We asked for water and were given a still bottle only to later find out they have tap. They brought us a small bowl of fried olives to start, finish these before they bring your food because they disappear. They just take it away when they bring your food. The fried olives are amazing. They are warm and breaded very nicely. Then came the bread which was less than average. We started with the roast beet goat cheese salad for 23€. It was small but incredibly delicious. We ordered two burgers, the St Germain for 34€ and the Ralph's for 31€. The burgers look small but they are incredibly filling. The buns are toasted and super fluffy. Meat is cooked to perfection if you ask for it cooked well. Both burgers came with fries and a small Cole slaw. The st Germain came with blue cheese and onions. The blue cheese was so strong. The Ralph's is the classic cheeseburger with bacon. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake, Ralph's favorite which came with three mini cakes and a coffee, and an espresso. Desserts were all around 14€ each. The espresso came out piping hot. The chocolat cake was recommended but it was a little too moist. Ralph's favorites were the perfect portions and came with a warm brownie, caramel peanut butter cake, and cheesecake topped with berries. They give you caramel and peanut popcorn like they did with the fried olives. Service was incredibly attentive. I wouldn't come back here but like I said earlier, you have to do it once.

We came here when Ralph's was just opened. We loved it then and we still love this place now. Outside seating in the courtyard is the bomb! We didn't have reservation, but we sure were lucky. Got a nice seat in the shade!! Do make reservation and don't expect to get lucky all the time because its always packed. Everything on the menu is great. We ordered the lobster salad and french fries because we really weren't hungry. We just wanted to visit and absolutely had a great time talking to the people next to us who drove in from Germany. Oh and the dessert is so delish. We had the ice cream with peaches and apricot!! YUM!! Definitely come when you visit Paris. This is one of the best Ralph Lauren flagship stores!

The restaurant, bar, and garden patio are all gorgeous! Classy, elegant but not stuffy, sophisticated, and comfortable. The Ralph Lauren store is gorgeous. This restaurant exudes Ralph Lauren's timeless classic style. American design blends perfectly in this fun French neighborhood. Make reservations for both lunch and dinner. Request indoor or outdoor seating.

I am happy that I managed to sneak a place for lunch on a week day. The patio is georgous! Had the Santa Fe Buger that was excellent and the fries delicious. Would live to be back to try more menu items soon!! Knocked 1 star down because the attitude of the front girls at the entrance of the restaurant.

Love, love, love Ralph's! This is a must-visit café for me if I'm in Paris. I've tried a few of the burgers - the Ralph's Burger, Turkey Burger, and Veggie Burger - and they don't disappoint! My favorite has to be the Ralph's Burger: onions, heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon. Yum! With your drink before your meal arrives you'll either get fried olives or caramelized popcorn. Both are deliciously American treats. If you love Ralph Lauren, you will love the decor and atmosphere. Everything comes from the Home collection and the waiters are dressed head to toe in classic Ralph. The whole experience is so warm, welcoming, and chic! Be sure to make a reservation!

If in St Germain des Pres and need a place to rest, come for an all American gourmet burger or club sandwich and a chance to sit in a meticulously manicured and beautifully lush courtyard. Just be sure to call ahead if you'd like to sit outside and to request for one of their seating areas with cushions and pillows. You'll be happy you did when you get there - you might not even budge from your spot since it is so comfortable and cosy while sipping on a nice cool drink. Price wise, if just speaking about the food - it is on the higher end of the offerings but in general, most if not all cafes and bistros in St Germain are pricey. But with Ralph's, food quality is consistent and high, as well as the ambience is spectacular (which is equally what you pay for when you head to St Germain). Also, if you don't speak French - or are struggling through your Francais - you needn't worry about it here! So take a break from your shopping and sightseeing and enjoy a carefree and beautiful lunch/afternoon at Ralph's.

I chose to spend my birthday morning at Ralph's and it ended up being the most idyllic place for a birthday coffee. We only went for a hot beverage therefore can't talk of the food but the experience we had was flawless. My friends and I were blown away by the impeccable service and the smiley waiters who went above and beyond to look after us. Not only were the hot drinks perfectly made but they also came with a side of the most heavenly toffee and peanut popcorn which was the icing on the cake. I was half expecting the service to be slightly snobby due to the reputation of this place but it wasn't at all! Equally I was expecting to pay through the roof for a coffee but it ended up being the same price as every other Parisian cafe at about 6 euro with the free popcorn! This terrace is open all year round therefore catered for the slightly nippy weather offering blankets to cover your knees whilst your hot beverages warm up your fingers. The terrace is true to the Ralph Lauren style with tartan cushions and waitresses dressed head to toe in preppy clothes yet there still remains an air of the chic rive-gauche.

Worst service ever no one care about the customers we've been sitting on the table for 35 minutes and no one took our order each single waiter we've asked them to take hour order all of them mentioned ok then no one show up !!!! Come on ! Really disappointed

A must-go if you want a taste of USA. It was nice short break from speaking French and eating French food. Everyone spoke English, definitely a tourist trap, but good brunch nonetheless. Nothing to write home about. The outside eating is definitely IG worthy, girls :) Glad my French pal showed me this place. Cheers.

I was there when it first opened. Then, It was wonderful, then. Filled with Parisians. Fun. Stylish. The staff was pleasant and very kind. Fast forward several years. Now, the staff is a bit rote. It's become a factory. They move you in, an move you out. If you ask your server to please speak in French, rather than English, they now ignore you. It takes about 4 times to get them to comply. It was never that way. The crowd upon opening was chic. Tres sophisticated and quiet. Now, it's turned into families with 6 year old children showing up in pajamas, not kidding, lying down in mommy's lap, playing with their iPhone until dinner drives. Spoiled, entitled crowd. Gross. (And the family mentioned, by the way, was NOT American, but Swedish.) I had scallops. They were fine. Not special, any certainly not worth the price. The atmosphere is gorgeous and romantic. But the rest of the package is reminiscent of a diner in Great Neck, New York... ugh. I see why the Parisians don't seem to go here anymore. I have no desire to go back.

Incredibly disappointing experience. We love The Polo Bar in NY and were very excited to visit, by all appearances this is a spot that the brand and it's leadership have long forgot. Rude, sloppy, and absentee service, had to order certain items three times because server forgot to place order, nothing special regarding food and drink presentation (unlike NY), pillows and dirty tables in bar lounge went unclean for 30 minutes. Sad to see.

An amazing Restraunt with fabulous decor, the Veranda is equally great as the inside. Theme is equestrian and the feel is grand. Ordered the Ralph Burger and Steak, loved every bit of it! I must visit when in Paris. Great for people who have a good appetite and don't always like tiny french portions. Must must eat!!

Great food and service! Portions are a little small but expected. Had the lobster salad, crab cake and side of spinach. For dessert the sample plate, chocolate cake and pear/apple crumb! Delicious! Fried olives and bread before meal and caramel/peanut popcorn before dessert.

This is one of the only establishments where you'll get good service if you're an English-speaking American.

After 2 weeks in France we were desperate for some American food. This place did not disappoint. Admittedly I was in it for the caramel corn, but everything about Ralph's was charming. Great ambience. We sat inside as we hadn't made a reservation but it was nice and cool and we sat by a window facing the courtyard so we felt we had all the benefits of being outdoors. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Food and ambiance is good, but the service is terrible. I've come here several times, and always the staff is not welcoming at all. The waiters seem bothered to attend you, they are not helpful and have even been rude to us.

I will admit I am biased. I have loved everything Ralph has done since the original Polo Stores. We sat down and waited a bit for drink service which was annoying. Once service got started things evened out. The crab cake was very good as well as the watermelon salad. Next up Ralph's burger amazing and my wife's steak was cooked to perfection. The wine list was perfect. Many French and some American choices The brownie dessert was also great. Only reason 4 vs 5 was the initial service. Fix that and 5 star. No matter what you are #1 for me Ralph.

If you are looking for American food in Paris this is your go-to. It's so nice to sit outside on a beautiful day and indulge in a great hamburger. They bring fried olives to start and they have several burgers and salads on the menu as well as an assortment of steaks, chicken etc. The candy corn that comes out for dessert is delish! Pricey, chic and serene, this is like the Ivy of Paris. Definitely make a reservation!

We went to Ralph's for my birthday last week. Simply put this was one of the best resturant experiences I've ever had. The setting is incredible and the service was flawless. The menu is American themed and simple (steaks, salads, burgers) but the food was delicious. The outside area looks great and I'd love to go back in the summer. This is a special treat place - it cost us about £150 for two mains, a desert and a bottle of champagne. We were told by friends that it can be difficult to get a table. They take bookings 28 days in advance. There is no online bookings which is a shame.

This place was dead at prime time on a Friday night, and the lobster was 80 euro. You can get an even better version of lobster at about half the cost just a few blocks away. It seemed more about name recognition than anything else.

I mean has Ralph Lauren ate here? I hope not because it's horrible. The decor was great but the food was terrible. I'm from NYC and eat at a lot of fabulous restaurants but this one didn't fall in that category for the price it was. My friend had the turkey club with carved turkey but the turkey was ice cold and later upset her stomach. I had the Santa Fe burger and it was average taste. It featured jalapeños which tasted like regular green peppers and not jalapeños. The 18€ cocktails were weak so don't expect to get an afternoon buzz here either. If you are American and visiting France it's best to have the local eats because French people making American classics is a super fail.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this place. Just fantastic. Blue cheeseburger was creamy goodness. But did start with the acorn squash soup. Had me at acorn squash! Service is impeccable the people watching is fantastic and the atmosphere is insanely gorgeous. Love love love.

If they don't hate you, you will be fine. Otherwise, they'll try to bluff you with a table in full sun, even if, yes, you made a reservation; and the walk ins get a better table... All of the staff actually, bar one, is friendly. The main pixie faced host is nasty under that facade. I want to know his name so I dont go there on his days. Atmosphere ruined with him and his creepiness.

We went between lunch & dinner so they were only serving drinks at the time. We had no idea so the sweet waiter had the chef whip us up some french fries to come out with our drinks. I'm mainly writing this review so that everyone who reads this will order the hot chocolate. I'm not kidding, I still dream about this hot chocolate to this day. I even went to Ralph's Coffee Shop in his NYC 5th Ave location hoping it would taste the same but of course, it didn't. The patio is adorable & if we had more time we would've come back for dinner.

I have eaten here numerous times and always come back while visiting Paris. Although I have never been to the store, the restaurant is awesome. The decor is very classy and there is a huge fireplace. I also love the fact the menu is only in English and the food is strictly American. I love the club and everything they have to offer. I suggest coming here for the great ambiance and the food. You might get hooked.

My mom and I went and enjoyed lunch today. The food was amazing as well as the service, decor, and staff. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they made space for us outside and offered a blanket! I recommend visiting Ralph's while you're in Paris

Forget about trying out Ralph's without a reservation, but it sure is worth making one. This is the very first Ralph Lauren restaurant in the world (more have opened since), and has a beautiful courtyard with outdoor seating (if it's summer time, definitely ask for that) and really terrific food. If you're looking for someplace inexpensive, this isn't for you. Try the crab cake and the lobster salad, or perhaps a burger, though steaks are a standard menu item too, and other seafood too. Ralph's is in St Germain des Prés, and in very close proximity to other very good restaurants like Armani and Brasserie Lipp, but it's still my first choice! If you want coffee after lunch you can always have it at Ralph's (and you'll be happy) or walk across the street to the historic café Deux Magots, where you'll find good coffee and great desserts.

Small place in a traditional French house with leather seats and nice atmosphere. Food is average and overpriced but what is really bad is the service : worst one in Paris ! Hippopotamus is better and they are nicer...surpringly at Ralph's they do not care at all about dragging away plates when you have not finished or bringing the wine when you are already half of the steak...haven't seen something like that not even in a cheap brasserie... Avoid the place until Ralph Lauren in person come here to slap the people working at his place

The place is nice and quite, good for couples, staff are friendly and comforting, food was ok as well, love the cheese burger.
