The Coffee

I really like this coffee place. Their Americano is especially good—smooth, rich, and not too bitter. It has a strong flavor but still tastes clean and balanced. The coffee is always fresh, and you can tell they use good beans. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and it’s a cozy place to relax. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Visited The Coffee on a Saturday around 4pm. Not much of a wait, which is nice at that time of day. I had "The White" with some honey (5€), very good and comforting. You order on a tablet, and the space is minimalist, in keeping with the spirit of today's coffee shops. A cosy well-run place that I recommend.

Tourist option : worth to try we stumbled upon this corner bistro by chance and it was well worth the stop. Came across this corner café with a pretty unique name , The décor, lighting, and overall atmosphere were great. It happened to be a public holiday Friday, so it wasn’t crowded. They have a self-service ordering system with two tablets, available in multiple languages. Easy to browse the menu for drinks and signature recommendations, both hot and cold. The interface is easy to use, and some of the descriptions are quite funny. Prices are a little on the higher side, but still reasonable. Most importantly, the drinks weren’t overly sweet

Great coffee, friendly service, and guest WiFi! If you’re in Le Marais this place is a block or two off main streets. So worth the extra steps to take a break!

A unique spot with a Japanese flair, offering a carefully crafted experience. We had the matcha latte, which was perfectly smooth with a rich, deep matcha flavor and just the right temperature. The banana bread was outstanding—moist, flavorful, and a perfect pairing. A great local spot to relax and hang out on a weekend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) The Coffee at Rue Saint-Gilles serves up a fragrant, smooth cup—clearly crafted with care and precision. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a quality caffeine fix in the Marais. However, the space is extremely cramped. Seating is very limited, and it’s hard to relax and enjoy your coffee without feeling a bit cramped or in the way. It leans more towards a takeaway kind of place rather than a sit-down café experience. Come for the coffee, but don’t expect to linger comfortably.

The coffee - probably the least French name for a coffee place and when you step in it will feel more like New York than Paris, with the automated iPads for ordering your drinks. The coffee once ordered without any human interaction is excellent, it’s very very nice However, the average standard of Parisian service notwithstanding, I do prefer at least being allowed to try-out-and-be-shot-down on my mediocre French rather than not even having to try and having to get my coffee in a way that feels closer to my work environment than a Saturday cafe expectations But if you just want to make sure you get a super solid coffee and no one laughs at your accent, the coffee is your coffee

Coolest place in town! The minimalistic design with the antique floor gave the store a unique twist. The staff is very friendly. I loved the innovative system where you order your coffee using the tablet and edit your own drinks. The drinks are really good, especially the matcha that comes with a minty twist. Highly recommended!
