"Running along the side of Diocletian’s Palace is theRiva, a seafront promenade lined with tall palm trees, bustling cafés, and shaded benches. Stretching from the bronze map of Split to the popular Marmontova shopping strip, it’s one of the busier places in town. Join the fashion-conscious locals gossiping over coffee at sunny cafés, or simply hang out here while you wait for your ferry to the islands."

Amazing surrounding and walking paths with serene nature and beach. View points are breath taking. There are stairs but not steep or small steps. Walked along these roads for four consecutive days.

It is a great place for a stroll specially in the evening when it is lively and full of life. One can just sit here and spend hours by people watch. There are paid public toilets and also Tourist Information Office. There are a lot of restaurants and bars to select from with very good outdoor ambience. Worth visiting.

Hey beautiful promenade that is one of the highlights of this amazing city. So many great cafes and bars as well as a fun set of Christmas stalls during the advent season selling all sorts of local items. The views at sunset are simply spectacular. You can relax on one of the many benches under the palm trees and feel safe any time of the day or night. It is also an amazing place to people watch.

Absolutely loved the Riva in Split! The promenade is stunning — palm trees, sea breeze, and amazing views of the harbour and old town. Perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening walk at sunset. It’s always lively with locals and tourists, but never feels chaotic. Some cafés are a bit pricey, but the atmosphere totally makes up for it. Bonus: Along the Riva, there are plenty of places where you can easily arrange boat trips to the nearby islands — perfect for a day of adventure on the Adriatic! 🌴☕️🌊🚤

The best places to be in Split in the evening. Was alive and gr8 vibes there as it was Saturday. Had good food there .lot of Gelato as the weather was hot . Lot of people. Lots of big boats and cruise ships parked in the marina. The sun set was beautiful in Split

Very beautiful street by the sea in Split. This street is very well kept with his pretty plants and green spaces. There are also many benches with the double view. Y’all can also find the restaurants and bars throughout this way and many local small shops with interesting gadgets

One of the most beautiful places in Croatia with lots of history. Diocletian's palace is a must see and the view from the clock tower is stunning.

Visited Split very briefly during our weeks holiday in Podstrana. We picked up the Ferry ⛴️ from Bay 23 to Solta on this day. Would highly recommend visiting this island & others. What we saw of Split we loved & we shall be back to explore more very soon.
