"This mirador, or viewpoint, is worth the climb for its unparalleled 360-degree views of the entire city, the Mediterranean Sea, and the rolling green hills of Collserola. Located some 900 feet above sea level, the hilltop was considered a strategic spot for defending Barcelona from bombings during the Spanish Civil War; anti-aircraft batteries and gunner bunkers were built here for this purpose. After the war, there was a desperate lack of housing, and the abandoned military structures were incorporated into a shantytown. Remarkably, people lived here until 1990, when the city took it over and turned it into a heritage site, complete with illuminating photographs and signage detailing the history of this unique place."

If you're in Barcelona and want a breathtaking panoramic view, MUHBA Turó de la Rovira is a must. The 360° skyline from the sea to the mountains is unreal, especially at sunset. It’s got this raw, chill vibe, full of history and energy. Just one thing: it’s no secret anymore. It gets pretty crowded, especially in the evening. But honestly? Still worth it. Bring snacks, good company, and enjoy the view just maybe go early for the best spot.

Absolutely worth the visit and time to explore the city. If you’re a bit like me wanted to escape from the busy city of Barcelona down there. If you're visiting Barcelona and want a breathtaking panoramic view, MUHBA Turó de la Rovira is a must. The 360° city view and skyline from the sea to the mountains was amazing unreal, especially during the sunset. It’s got this raw, chill vibe, full of history and energy. Just wear your comfortable and responsive shoes since the field will be literally hiking and full of stones and rocks. Bring snacks, good company, and enjoy the view just maybe go early for the best spot.

It was one hell of a walk. It took so long to get there by foot. But I think there's bus not that far away. I just went there by foot so it's on me. But the scene at the end definitely worth it. It was beautiful, you could see the streets that go straight all the way to the sea. The wind is a little bit strong there. So I advise you to be careful if you go near the cliff. Overall it definitely worth it, so, recommended 👍🏻

Beautiful Panoramic view point from the top. It is an abandoned Bunker with many walls, floor tiles and stairs around. A big area with lots of places to relax and watch the view. A short walk up the hill but worth it. I highly recommend this place. Bring some snacks and something to drink because you will want to spend some time there.

I had an incredible experience visiting the MUHBA Turó de la Rovira (Battery Viewpoint) in Barcelona. The highlight of this attraction is undoubtedly the breathtaking panoramic view it offers of the entire city. From this vantage point, you can see Barcelona in all its glory, with its iconic landmarks and stunning architecture spread out before you. The short walk of 20 minutes from the bus stop to reach the viewpoint is well worth it. It's a pleasant stroll, and the anticipation builds as you get closer to the top.

Great views of the city, perfect for sunrise or sunset, easy hike up, perfect for a date. Lots of open, flat space for sitting.

Epic spot to visit for sunset. Also just Ana amazing view over the city at any time. It gets kind of busy and is mostly 16-35 year olds but it’s a fun and inclusive vibe whatever age. A lot of people take a picnic and there is usually a few people there walking around selling water and beer. It’s a reasonable walk to the top but nothing that bad. A taxi will drive most of the way if you prefer. Fun to take a drone but note you can’t fly above 150m due to restrictions on flight paths.

There’s honestly nothing like finishing a day by hiking up here to have dinner while watching the sun set over Barcelona. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Prepare to be blown away. It’s quite a distance but I promise it is absolutely worth it. If you’re scared of heights and can’t climb to the very top, you don’t have to. You can seat anywhere and still get a great view. Which means you need to get an hour before sunset to get a great spot. Also, it gets busy but you won’t feel alone as a solo traveller in the midst of strangers. It also gets a bit chilly/windy depending on the season so don’t forget to bring a hoodies along. Not forgetting, it is completely free.
