Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi

This mall is a futuristic enclave that feels like a modern Alice in Wonderland. The architectural bones are functional and spartan, yet they frame an "endless" array of restaurants, each bringing a unique aesthetic theme to the table. It is masterfully. From the serene aquarium to the vibrant kid's adventure park the mall offers a rare synthesis of luxury and affordability. In a city where air quality is a variable, this location is a constant. I opted for the Japanese cuisine—it was exceptional. The mall is a brilliant design that meets tactical urban utility.

Was looking for a proper mall and this one came recommended as the best in Hanoi. Very large with a good selection of shops and eateries. A nice place to escape the madness of the streets of Hanoi. Vietnam lags behind Thailand, Philippines, and Singapore for magnificent shopping malls, but this one is a step in the right direction.

The mall is huge, with wide corridors and everything kept spotless. Even the bathrooms feel luxurious and very well maintained. There’s a great mix of high-end luxury brands and more accessible stores like Gap, so it works for different tastes and budgets. The aquarium on the ground floor is a great solution when part of the family isn’t in the mood for shopping, especially with kids. On top of that, there are plenty of dining options, making it easy to spend several hours here without getting bored.

Very impressive mall. Very beautiful inside. Reminds me of Holt Renfrew back in Vancouver. This mall has every western name brand retail stores, makes you feel like you are not in Vietnam. Very classy and high end feel. Its great to he inside the mall as the air quality outside is pretty bad on Jan 3, 2026. Lots and lots of food here, that's what I like.

Visited Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi and was impressed by how modern and spacious the place is. The mall has a clean layout with a good mix of international brands, local shops, and plenty of dining options. The atmosphere feels vibrant yet comfortable, making it a nice spot to shop, relax, or just escape the heat. The view around West Lake adds a pleasant touch, especially in the evening. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Hanoi and looking for a stylish, all-in-one shopping destination.

Modern mall with many international brands. The interior is very sleek and functional. There is a convenient food hall and baby changing facilities so you can spend here time comfortably. If you come from the old part of Hanoi I recommend avoiding peak hours to get there, traffic is just crazy.

This shopping center is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The baby facilities and restrooms are excellent, and overall it’s a pleasant place to shop. However, the lift situation is extremely disappointing. There are multiple escalators available, yet many people who are perfectly able to use them still wait for the lift. Meanwhile, parents with prams, families with small children, and elderly visitors — who cannot use the escalators — are left waiting for a very long time. What makes it worse is the lack of queue discipline. People frequently cut the line, rush into the lift, and completely ignore those who actually need priority. There are no visible signs asking people to prioritize elderly visitors, families with prams, or people who cannot take the stairs. Without clear guidance or staff managing the situation, it becomes chaotic and very frustrating. The parking area is also not pram-friendly. The motorcycle barriers block access, making it difficult (and sometimes impossible) to pass through with a stroller. This is a serious accessibility issue. Management should urgently: • Install clear priority signage for lifts • Enforce proper queuing during busy hours • Improve pram accessibility in the parking area It’s disappointing to see such a nice shopping center overlook basic accessibility and consideration. I hope this will be addressed soon, because it truly affects the experience for families and elderly visitors.

Absolutely stunning and I hate shopping! Beautifully designed shopping mall with comprehensive range of international retailers represented, it compares favourably with any European Westfield or even Mall if the Emirates in Dubai (too big) and spotlessly clean.
