The food is decent, but the chicken portion in my shawarma bowl was smaller than expected. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Tried the Shawarma Cheeseburger at Ace Shawarma & Burgers today and wow 🤤🔥 The burger was juicy, flavorful, and super filling… and those fries? Honestly a year ago this place was 5 stars. I could go on Wednesday and get an amazing large shawarma poutine and a pop for $15. Since then Everytime I go to order online the website is changed I was collecting points and lost them twice due to changes. I ordered last night for the first time in months and there was a coupon if I spend 40 to get $5 off so I went to checkout and it wouldn’t even let me use the coupon?? And now it costs me $40 for just 2 large poutines not even a drink included anymore… So we got our poutines and they were just disappointing. Unfortunately the cost of their food has gone way up and the quality has clearly gone down. They used to have the best shawarma poutine it was my favourite they had the crispiest fries and best chicken. But last night was nothing like it was before… the fries we soggy and not the same at all and the chicken we got was not great either and had pieces I had to take out of my mouth because they were just gristle and cartilage… sad to say this as it used to be my favourite place. I wish it was the same as it used to be but unfortunately it’s not. Sorry ace you let me down

Good shawarma and always busy because it’s in downtown Kitchener where all the workers and students come in often. I have tried their shawarma wrap and it’s good shawarma tbh. Yet to try their shawarma poutine.

I ordered through online their shawarma bowl. Tbh the quantity was too small and the quality I would rate only 1/10. The toppings and everything inside the bowl were too bad. I asked for the utensils with and didn’t get anything except the food and the packing was also not upto the mark. I used to order from Ace because of their taste, but unfortunately day by day it is going down. It’s really sad to saw a good store going down day by day because of the quality of the food and the service.

Great place not only for shawarma but also their burgers. I tried their Shawarma burger which was a real treat. Their French fries were fresh and spiced to perfection

I purchased 2 Large Shawarma and the food portion is very low. They only fill half of the box and the box is also comparatively smaller than any other shawarma box in Canada.

Food was so cold, the portion was so small. They filled half the container with salad. The rest was filled with rice topped with a little bit of bland chicken. I was shocked at the price $15 for less than a palm full of rice. Disgusting food and terrible service.if I could give this place a 0 I would.

I normally don't write reviews and thought I had to because of how good my experience was. I'm in Kitchener for work and wanted to grab something quick. I told the person working I was really hungry so he said he'd put in extra falafel and fries after I paid. They were fairly busy with take out orders and I waited a bit for mine and they threw in a cheesecake dessert on the house. Not only was the experience great but the food was delicious!

I used to enjoy placing orders at ACE Shawarma, but they'll be losing my business from today. I placed an order for a chicken shawarma poutine with extra chicken, little did I expect them to serve me chicken skin instead. I paid for an extra scoop of chicken, not chicken skin. The entire meal was gross, maybe you are in the wrong business if ur gonna skimp on shawarma meat and serve chicken skin instead.

Late night dive with a few buddies and was not disappointed! This place is a hidden gem - the prices are beyond affordable, with quality food. Their large Shawarma poutine ($9) could easily feed three people. As with most shawarma places, you can see them make it right in front of you, which is nice. I grabbed the medium shawarma poutine to share with my buddy, along with the tikki chicken dish; both great choices, though the poutine is by far the seller. Atmosphere is very basic and even a little shabby, but you're not paying for the dine-in experience! 100% would return if in the area, definitely recommend for some solid grub.

Not a pleasant overall experience here. Had 5 or 6 ppl working and everyone seemed very high stress and not in a great mood. Opened my shawarma WRAP to this. Not possible to eat as a wrap so went back, told them my situation and asked for a shawarma plate container and they said I'd have to pay for it. They gave me a dinky to go container that was of no use. Would recommend going to another shawarma spot in the city.

The tikka here is top notch. This is a weekly have in my books and all their sauces are incredible. My tip would be call ahead if you are getting tikka chicken as it takes 10-15 minutes to prepare compared to the 1-3 minutes for shawarma

Great shawarma place in downtown kitchener close to the city Hall. The prices are very affordable. I got the large poutine and it costs $5.99+tax. Very filling and delicious. The quantity of chicken could have been more though.

I was going to Big Fat Pita to get my favourite chicken Shawarma poutine but sadly they were closed up early so I decided I would give Ace Shawarma a shot as I've never tried them before. The young man working the counter was not rude off the bat, but not very friendly either. We got two medium shawarma poutines and when I sat down and opened it there wasn't as much gravy as I usually like so I went back up and asked if I could have a little more. The man simply said "no I can't do that. There is some underneath." I looked at him extremely puzzled and said "you can't give me a little more gravy? I bought a poutine and would like just a little bit more on it and you "can't"?" To which he rolled his eyes, took my poutine and put a little more gravy on it. It tasted good, but I'll be sticking with my Big Fat Pita poutine because they are much cleaner, friendlier, faster, and all around a better customer experience than at Ace Shawarma.

So good!!! The rice is so different and atomistic. The sauces are a good mix and don't come off too strong (I'm a light eater). The condition of the environmental is not great tho, I wouldn't really eat there so do takeouts most of the time

Five stars for the food- I got a falafel wrap, which was very good... but after receiving my order I noticed the cook was wearing his mask with his nose uncovered, and had I noticed that earlier I would have left without ordering. So a star off for the hygiene factor. We're dealing with a pandemic guys, please wear the mask properly, it's not difficult.

We got to try a few burgers they're working on for the new menu and they were great! Very kind staff and super affordable.

I have to say I love their food. But after today's experience, I will not be going back because of their service. I purchased chicken shawarma with rice (box 1), however there was extremely little chicken on it. When I asked for my money back, they said "it's a full scoop of chicken, everyone does it the same" and said that I already touched the food (not the case, I just walked to the office, and walked back out to return it). They offered to give me "a little bit more chicken", but by that point they already proved what bad service they offered, by the way they acted and talked to me for the few minutes prior.
