Some of the best sourdough you'll ever have. Do not sleep on their sandwiches. 1000 points for the Mt Roland Egg number. Don't miss the choc chip cookie either.

Tassie is a delight

We've had coffee and pastries there on the 2 days we were in Launceston. Coffee were great and the pastries were amazing. Special shoutout to the spanakopita and the hot pie. They are serious about their pastries and it shows in the quality they delivered. Staff were very accommodating as well and babycino are free to keep those kids happy!

Ordered 2 white coffees, the morning bun, and the chocolate walnut croissant. Slightly pricey bakes at 8-9AUD per item. Coffees were the best we had in launceston. Morning bun is effectively a cinnamon bun, but I thought it lacked a bit of flavour even though the texture was nice. Was also a bit of too much of the same thing. Chocolate walnut croissant is better! More moist and easier to down. Tastier too. Came on a weekday morning at about 9am, did not have to wait for a table.

Believe the hype. The walnut croissant is fabulous. The chicken sandwich is fresh and the coffee is delicious. Seating in the cafe is comfortable, well spaced and there’s a second level for more seating. I don’t know how they manage it but the walnut croissant is a different level crispy and fragrant with the walnut filling. As a tourist, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and the staff were friendly. Would recommend 100%

4 stars overall as stock is a bit hit and miss. The food, if in stock is incredible and a great place for coffee and lunch! But depending how busy they are the actual options as to what is available is all over the place. Get in early so you’re not disappointed like me

Delicious food, perfect for breakfast or a snack and the Walnut croissant was particularly good. Really nice coffee and staff were helpful and responsive. Not very expensive, clean café and clean bathrooms.

Delicious pastries and coffee! We stopped here for breakfast and enjoyed everything we had. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Make sure you try the “morning bun” (pictured) if you go. So simple but so delicious, I think it would be up there with one of my favourite pastries ever!! I wish we were in Launceston for more than one night so that I could eat one again 🤤 haven’t stopped thinking about it since!!

not only is the flat white very good, their cheese toastie is VERY good: like top 3 i’ve ever had. its crunchy, cheese is tasty, and it even looks really good when it hits your table. the place also looks really nice. there’s even a 2nd floor!! definitely come here with a friend and try their cheese toastie (basically their ham and cheese toastie minus the ham)

This is a popular café in Launceston that most people would probably stop by if they’re in town. It has two levels of seating and the prices are pretty standard for a café. I went around 9 AM and it was quite busy, but there’s short-term parking available. The taste was nothing mind-blowing, just okay, but the atmosphere was really nice.
