"Then, eat at Caffe Bar Hemingway in the Hotel Majestic for lunch (get the caesar salad and a gin cocktail a la Ernest)."

We had breakfast here and it was absolutely mouthwatering! From the food to the cocktails, everything was top-notch. The outdoor seating area is shaded and ventilated, making it super comfortable even in the heat. And despite the restaurant being fully packed, the service was outstanding - we felt truly looked after, as if we were the only table there. It may be a bit pricier, but honestly, with food, drinks, atmosphere & service this good, they could charge more! Highly recommend if you’re in Budva.

It’s a place I’ve visited many times just to have dessert and coffee. It wouldn’t be fair for me to comment on their meals or other products, but their desserts are excellent — especially the chocolate brownie with ice cream, which you should definitely try. If you order it served warm, it tastes even better. Many reviews mention that the staff are rude, but even during their busiest hours, I’ve always found them polite and friendly. I would never choose another place in Budva for dessert. Hemingway is my favorite.

I did the mistake of asking for a mocha coffee, the waiter got angry and said "only classic coffee, here is the menu" in a very rude way. I grew up in a rough place and I'm used to deal with worse than this and literally started laughing in his face, but people from other countries with different cultures might not take it as well. Oh also, prices a bit too high, as per Montenegrin tradition of ripping tourists off by the look of it, and lovely to see how the restaurant "expanded" in public space phagocytating a public bench

Tiramisu 8euro, makarna 20.50 euro hamburger 15 euro. The pasta was extremely delicious. But very expensive. The hamburger was average. Tiramisu and Serbian beer was nice. Attention tourist scam!! Two lattes were added to our bill even though we hadn't drunk them. When we noticed and told them, the waiter got flustered. Then they deleted them. If we paid the bill without realizing it, we would have paid for two lattes for nothing. For this reason, I do not recommend it to tourists.

Excellent experience at this restaurant with our good friends who live in Budva. The food was fantastic, so many options for kids, vegetarians, and meat lovers. Service was absolutely exceptional. Atmosphere outside was great, good vibes, lots of area for children to run. Very impressed by the overall experience. Hi we recommend for dinner spot for tourists. Close to old town, close to walking promenade with lots to do.

A lovely spot to stop for a bite to eat, and a drink. Excellent quality food, and very efficient waiting staff. We enjoyed breakfast here on a number of occasions. The traditional breakfast, the granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt, and the omelette were all excellent quality. As per most popular places in Budva, the prices are very much aimed at the tourist market.

Food here is great! One of the best meals we had so far in Montenegro. Fresh, big portions and tasty! Little expensive but you get what you pay for so we were happy.

I usually leave positive reviews because I truly want to support places and leave a good impression. But today’s visit was honestly quite strange. Imagine — you’re in Budva, going to different cafés, and you want an iced latte. On the menu it’s written as “cold coffee,” but in most places here, that means it comes with syrup, cream, and whipped cream. I have type 2 diabetes, so sugar is a strict no for me. I ordered a regular latte with ice on the side — I also prefer real coffee beans, not instant. At first, the waitress didn’t understand why we needed extra ice and brought just a small amount in a glass. When we politely asked for a bit more, she slammed the glass on the table to show there was already ice 😄 That felt quite strange and disrespectful. Later, when she brought more ice, we thanked her and paid the bill. But then she noticed I added the ice to my coffee — and started scolding me like a child, saying, “There’s cold coffee on the menu!” and muttering “I don’t understand” with an annoyed tone. Well, okay — don’t understand, that’s fine. But there’s no reason to show such judgment or attitude. It’s the customer’s choice how to drink their coffee. Why act like we came to her home uninvited and asked for a drink? It just felt really unpleasant. Anyway, that was my experience — you can judge for yourself :)
