One of the OG Kbbq places in the city. Consistently good quality beef that always leaves us satisfied. Some would say it is a bit pricey but tbh, beef is not cheap. They serve sterling tier beef which is about as good as it can get in Canada. Not Wagyu but that is understood. Service is fine and we enjoy Noah quite a bit. He is always attentive with regards to changing our grill when it becomes too charred. Also, the Southside location is the OG and our preferred over the west end. The same owners own BB2 but tbh Baek Jeong is simply better although there is no ayce option. Our go to is always the premium beef combo for 2. Finally, word of advice to the uninitiated, you WILL leave smelling like your meal so don't wear your Sunday's finest if the lingering smell after you leave bothers you! Overall, this is a 4.5/5 for me.

We always go to Baekjeong and usually order the Combo for 2 ($99) or the Combo for 4 ($225). It comes with differend kinds of meat, rice, soup, and steamed egg. It’s honestly the best Korean BBQ for us! The side dishes are refillable, which we love, and they recently added a new spicy tofu that is SO good. Definitely one of our new favorites! The staff are always attentive and quick to help, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. We did notice that the portions seem a bit smaller compared to before, but with inflation these days, it’s understandable. Overall, still one of our go-to spots and totally worth it.

Came here on our last night in Edmonton The ambiance was clean with plenty of seating and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered an array of meats all of which were excellent quality. Overall price was great and authentic!

Food here was really good and fresh, and the flavors were on point. Service was excellent too—the staff were super attentive and friendly, making the whole meal easy and enjoyable. What surprised me is that it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night. Honestly, this place deserves to have more people coming in because the quality is definitely there. Overall, great spot for Korean BBQ, and I’d happily come back again!

I went here with my wife for our wedding anniversary back in September and have already been back two more times since. The meat quality is excellent, and all of the sides you get are delicious. What we really appreciated though is the rapid service you receive. We never waited more than like 15 seconds for a server to come to our table after ringing the bell, and often they come almost instantly. This is consistent across all three of our visits. Our favourite meat hands down was the marinated pork shoulder, but all the meats are great. I also really like the yukgaejang soup (M11 on the menu). I want to acknowledge our server Yoni from our last visit who recognized my wife and I and certainly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated your friendly service and answering our questions.

Great place for kbbq ! I ate kbbq for first time alone and I had to order two sets of meat so it was a lot. Their side dish are amazing ! Quick service and clean place. I recommend if you are craving for kbbq. They have a good variety of different dishes.

TL;DR: Best Korean restaurant in Edmonton in my opinion. Amazing food and atmosphere with authentic Korean taste. The food comes in large portions and wide varieties. We ordered a Beakjeong combo for 2 and had a very enjoyable meal. The picture is the combo without soup and appetizer (corn cheese).

Great meal - the, had the beef dinner for 2, and a starter of steamed dumplings which had a different flavour, a floral flavour which we didn’t enjoy. The meal was perfect for 3 people.

Just two words: FREAKING AWESOME! I love Korean food and I have gone to many Korean restaurants. One of my friends who is Korean, recommended this place so we decided to give it a shot. As we entered we noticed a very well designed restaurant with cozy atmosphere! The staff were very nice and friendly which made the experience even better. The food: I have never seen a quality like this! Everything was high quality and delicious! We did not have any leftovers!!! When we were going to leave, they gave us some sort of a small drink that I have no idea what it was but it was very refreshing and delicious! They met all of my expectations from a good restaurant and don't be surprised if you see I become a regular here! I highly recommend this place! :)

Made a reservation as my friend said last time he came he could not eat because it was too busy. Place as 30% full Friday at 6:30PM - probably didn't need the reservation. Got the strawberry Soju. I loved it, friend did not. Tried the Baekjeong Combo for 2. Steamed egg was sooooo cool. Tasted pretty bland but presentation was 12/10. Stone/container keeps it hot for quite a while too! Tried the only soup that did not say spicy. 10/10 was good. Rice was good. Salad was good - I liked the dressing. Pickled ?daikon was 10/10 so great for cutting through all the meat flavor. Bean sprouts were just okay. Friend liked the sauerkraut but I did not. Broccoli was very nice to grill. Marinated raw Onion was good (better slightly warmed on the grill). Marinated pork was my favorite. Pork belly was good. The super thinly sliced was one was my least favorite. Hard to cook and shrivels up too much. The super thick cuts I also did not like as I found it too chewy but honestly that could just be my cooking skills. Grill was swapped out 3 times during our 1.5hr experience. Ate 100% of everything But only 50% of the egg, and 10% of the bean sprouts (2 very hungry people). Overall what a fun experience. But I like Gyu-Kaku more (Better price for same experience and I like the marinated cheap meats better than the expensive cuts).

The worst customer services I call before I went at 9:00 and they told me I can come in and then after arrived to the place the give us a table but minutes later before they kicked us from the restaurant because they closed kitchen even that we were inside with a table, its late already to go get food somewhere else

One of our favourite interactive meals, Korean BBQ is so good & a fun way to enjoy a meal (especially after watching a bunch of k-dramas!) When we crave it, this is always a great option for their high quality meats and super flavourful soups and sides. We ordered the pre-set combo for 4 since it offered a huge feast without us having to make too many decisions. It comes with salad, sides, soup (we chose a spicy soup base with soft tofu & seafood), rice, lettuce for wraps and soooo many kinds of meat for grilling. The meats were fabulous - tender, flavourful, fresh. To wash it down, we had Korean wines - a sweet black raspberry wine that comes in sparkling and non, and went dangerously well with the food. It's not AYCE so it may feel pricey, but the quality of the meat is much better than other kbbq spots in the city.

This was my first time eating Korean food. As a party of 5 adults and 1 young child, we ordered the Premium Beef Combo for 4. All the food was delightfully delicious and all appetites were fully satisfied. The service was absolutely excellent, as we waited very little time for the numerous dishes of our order to arrive, and our grill was changed at least on four occasions. We will be back!!!

Baekjeong has always been one of my favourite places for Korean BBQ. It's been a while since I've been here, and it looks like a few things have changed, most notably their menu options and the grill. I remember their booths used to have recommended cooking methods and when to turn down the heat, but I see that's gone now, which is too bad because I found those tips really helpful. We recently visited as a party of four on a Sunday afternoon; we had made a reservation, but many people who didn't were still able to be seated right away. Parking is ample as it's located in a bigger street mall with plenty of space. I usually don't love the service here, but this time around, we had a very friendly and kind server who did a great job checking in on us, even when we didn't ring the bell. I wish I could remember her name so I can give a shoutout! Bring your appetite! They have combos recommended for a certain number of people, but this is really deceiving as they are generous on their portions. I'm quite certain you can easily feed one other person than the number of people you ordered for. We ordered a combo for 3, and our fourth person ordered their featured galbi soup. The three of us are relatively good eaters and came in very hungry; even with our fourth person helping us out, we still had leftovers to bring home! The combo not only comes with an assortment of meat, but also rice, your choice of soup from M5 - M13, and steamed egg or corn cheese. We opted for the M5: Haemul Soontubu (asked for it to be mild) and corn cheese. Even though we asked for a milder version of the soup, it still came out extremely spicy, but packed with flavour. We do wish it was even milder though, as the kick was really strong for us and made it hard to thoroughly enjoy the soup. Their corn cheese was delicious as always, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, plus a great cheese pull! They are very generous with the side dishes too, and it's great that you can ask for unlimited refills; I especially enjoy their salad and pickled onion. This place is quite pricy, but definitely worth it for the quality of deliciously marbled meat. It's been my long time favourite, and I'm glad to say my recent visit reconfirmed how much I enjoy this place.

Korean BBQ at your table w the best quality AB beef and pork belly. All the banchan you can eat, too! We had japchae w pork and had some food left over. And with your cheque, a tiny bottle of Milkis - super! Wednesday is a beef special - will have to check it out. More fun w bigger groups by plenty of families and couples. Full by 530 on Sunday. Also love the efficiency of Korean restaurants - call button for service so you don't have to weave and Bob to catch your servers attention :)

Amazing meal, a little pricey, disappointing service. The food quality was quite good. The bahnchan side dishes were tasty but not great variety. The four complimentary sides were kimchi, seasoned soybean sprouts, sliced pickled radish, and salad. We ordered the BaekJeong combo for 3, the seafood pancake, and the green onion salad, and one pitcher of kokanee. This fed the table of 6 adults and we were all full. The combo comes with 5 different meats, one soup of your choice (kimchi soup), rice (3), and an optional side dish (we ordered the cheese corn). Korean restaurants have a button at each table that beeps at the server station so they know which table needs assistance but every time I pressed it not a single server arrived. I even watched the server station to ensure that the button was working. I had to flag down a server every time we needed something. This is frustrating, what is the point of the button? When you have a party of 6 or more there is an automatic gratuity of 15% added. The bill was $250 all in. This ends up being just over $40 per person which is high in my opinion because there wasn't a bunch of drinks, just one pitcher of beer. It's definitely a treat to eat here and I'll keep it for special occasions.

The food, and service was excellent. We went mid week and the restaurant was busy, the corn dish was super enjoyable. I did not like the soup, the waitress said it was the least spicy but it was way to spicy for my palate. I hope to return.

as soon as I walked in there I immediately got a table for my family and it was really busy in there and the food was amazing I had been to different places like this but I have to say this was my favourite I have been to and they were so nice when ever I called for help they immediately come and we didn't have to wait that long for are food to come and the place looked so nice and I didn't find any hair in my food they definitely kept the restaurant clean and I wI'll definitely come back soon

I don't often eat beef, so we went with a set menu mostly consisting of marinated pork. The set menu also comes with your choice of soup, your choice of corn cheese or steamed egg and steamed rice. We went on a Wednesday night when they have 50% off pork belly and we definitely ordered lots of it! Very high end quality cuts of meat and definitely on the pricier side, but it was worth it. The meat was marinated very well and tasted so good. I like a little bit of the burnt or charr on my grilled meats, so I left it on the grill a bit longer. Refillable sides, salad and lettuce to wrap your grilled meats with. You also get the ssamjang set and dipping set that comes with sweet chili sauce, coarse sea salt and sesame oil to dip your grilled meats with. To assemble, grill your meat, grab a piece of lettuce, add a bit of the ssamjang onto the lettuce, dip your grilled meat in some salt and sesame oil and add that to your lettuce, wrap it up and just put the whole thing in your mouth. So good!

Came to celebrate my mom's birthday. Tried to book online using their website two weeks before and the system said all full. We would either have to eat at 830pm or nothing. Seemed strange to me so I called and they were able to book me in. We ordered the Baekjeong combo for 4 knowing it would be a lot of food, but my husband wanted the rib eye steak. It turns out it was very chewy ribeye cut and we all preferred the marinated cuts. We enjoyed the sides of pickled onions, daikons, Kim chi and bean sprouts. We were also served large lettuce leaves so we could wrap our meat and eat it with. Salad was included in our meal combo as well and was refillable. The service could be slightly improved upon. The table is small and our waitress never cleared any of our finished dishes. There is a call bell on the table to ring but we had to ring it for water refills. Upon asking for takeout containers to package up our vast amount of leftovers, she brought us the containers but we then had to ring again for the bill. The atmosphere was nice as we had a booth to ourselves. Would definitely recommend and come again but order less food!

Second time here with my partner, this time we had 2 people combo. As the picture below shown, the food is reasonably priced considering its portion. The waiters are nice and friendly, service is quick. We arrived around 9PM on Saturday so it's was nice and quiet.

This place was so good. I went with a total of 4 people so naturally we ordered the 4 person baekjeong meal. It is definitely pricey compared to other Korean bbqs in the city but the quality and quantity of food was great. This turned out to be soooo much food! Everything tasted great. Particularly liked the marinated meats and the steak which we reserved for the end of the meal. The unlimited lettuce and banchan were great. Would have loved to have more rice with the meal included though. The 4 person combo turned out to be way more food than we needed. In the future when we return (and we definitely will!) we'll probably just order a 2 person meal and add on some of the other dishes available so that we can try out more of the menu

Came for the first time for our daughter's 23rd birthday. We had a group of 7. The food was outstanding! We ordered the dinner for 6 and there was so much great, fresh food! No hungry people at the table. And the service was impeccable! We felt like royalty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all, and we will definitely be coming back Thanks for the great experience!

A lovely lovely experience. The restaurant itself was big, bright, and clean. Super tasty meats (marinated pork was my favourite), very attentive servers, and cleaner and more modern grills than you see at most Korean BBQ places. Super impressed. Will definitely be back.

Average 45$ per person. Do not choose any combos! Only me and my boyfriend. We decided to have Beef C1 combo, it comes with 4 different types of beef and 2 soups. They said it's for 2-3 people. However, it's not what you think about. It's just one mid size steak, 4 small beef ribs, and 4 small beef meats. It is not enough and too expensive! It costed us 85$ plus tax. Also, if you want to choose BBQ, you have to choose at least 2 meats to eat! That's their rule. So! It's not a really good Korean BBQ place to go! Trust me!

They gave us very poor quality rice with our dishes, same as Italian restaurant messing up pasta noodles. The quality of rice made bibimbab and sundubu difficult to enjoy. Prior to ordering those we tried modification of bbq meat selection in their bbq combos. They were extremely rigid so we gave up. It was a very poor experience.

I tried Baekjong for the first time last night. My friend recommended it. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with the service and the food. One thing that I am glad we did was make reservations. We booked for a later dinner, around 7:30 p.m. yet the place was pretty packed when we got there. I believe for people that did not make any reservations, the wait was about 30-45 minutes. When we got there, we waited for 10 mins for them to clear our table and got seated immediately. The menu was very good with many Korean grill options. This place is legit!!!!!! We ordered C1 which contained various slices of beef (brisket, short rib, rib finger, rib eye steak) with steamed egg, beef sausage and tofu soup with the P2 which was pork shoulder off the menu. When the meat came it, it looked amazing and you could tell the meat was very good quality. I loved that there was a call button in each of the tables and booths so that you could get service right at your table if you ever needed a refill or service. The staff was very quick and prompt and courteous. Overall the experience was positive and the food was delicious with great variety of daikon on the side to pair. One thing is if you're planning to go around dinner time, make a reservation. You will not regret it!

Amazing service the food was so delicious we were so impressed. We live in Vancouver now so coming back to Edmonton we wanted to check out this new joint. This place is legit!! Went for the all beef platter because it was only appropriate in Alberta to eat Alberta beef. Opted for the $85 one and we both and were afraid it wouldn't be enough but it was!!! I did end up having to package some to take home. Servers seem to all be fluent in both English and Korean. No to mention they're fast friendly and polite. Remember to ring the service bell if you noticed nobody's coming by your table! They come when you call on them, just the way it works in most authentic Korean places. Lots of side dishes that are refillable along with a fresh mixed greens salad. Probiotic drink served to you at the end.

*** Not living in Calgary Trail South, Edmonton, Canada*** Mixed review here for the Lynnwood, WA location. Given it's their 2nd week open, but we waited over 2.5 hours before being seated. Got there as it opened (5pm as reservations not available) and were about 40+ people deep. We were in line for 35 min (expected). After being seated, we learned there's no complimentary tea. Just water, both hot and cold. The Banchan was limited to 5 options and refills weren't readily offered. When asked, the server may have forgotten, mind you she was serving 4 tables. We ordered the large combo (ribeye, sliced pork, and marinated beef), but feel for the $140 price, the portions could've been bigger. The quality of the meat was par for the course. Nothing exceptional. I feel this restaurant is on par with Exit 5 for a young hip crowd. I feel it wasn't worth the hype.

Maybe my expectations were too high because everyone said this was such a great place. It's a cool experience for a night out but was a little pricy for the quality of the beef that was served..

Baek Jeong is the best Korean bbq in Edmonton. I love the choices of combos so that it makes decision-making easier for people who are new! It is pretty consistent in terms of quality, although I do think it's quite overpriced.

This is a pricier Korean grill restaurant. For the grill, you can either choose between pre-set meats (beef or pork/ beef combos) or can pick and choose from the meat plates (min 2 plates to start the grill). It was kind of hard to determine how much food was needed for the 2 of us so I had to ask the waiter for some guidance. The menus details was not helpful to gauge quantity. The pre-set meat combos come with soup included so we opted for that - $85 beef combination, apparently good for 2 ppl. The portion was appropriate for the 2 of us, along with the unlimited salad/ pickled sides. We left satisfied. The beef was good, and soup & steamed egg were nice additions. I would say though if you're a huge meat eater- for the same price, your money is prob better used for an all you can eat Korean grill.

Honestly I love the concept and idea of this restaurant but I can't justify how expensive it is for how little meat you get. You have to place a minimum order of 2 meats if you order through a la carte and decide not to go through the set menu options (which I also feel is not enough food for how much you're paying). I always end up leaving hungry and always pay over $100 for two people without tip. My favourite cut is the short rib finger, but, also very expensive. It's nice to visit on a special date, but the cuts are very small. The combos are good to order if you aren't that hungry. The redeemable qualities are the sides that you get, which help fill you up a bit. I really enjoy the salad that they give as the dressing is refreshing and helps cut the grease from the meat.

I would love to put 5 but 4.5 is the best that i can, this store is so popular, me and my firends went here and we are willing to come back nxt weekend.

Great if you want to come here for a pricier meat and EXCELLENT service. $160 meal of beef for 3-4 people, I could have consumed it all with another dude. (It's worth mentioning my friends who went with me, said the quality of meat is moderate). The 2 person meal of beef was around $85 as well. The pork meal was slightly cheaper. Please don't mistaken the bowl of lettuce as salad, it's used for pairing your meat and holding your meat/sauces. Don't expect to fill up for $45 plus taxes. There's definitely better Korean BBQ out there.. or make your own! What's great is the promptness and friendliness of the staff. It's worth a star!

The menu is quite varied, allowing one to choose specific meats but also offering up some combos, both marinated & not. Our party of 6 chose a marinated combo for 3 & ordered 4 standalone dishes. There was plenty for all to share & we barely cleaned up. There was also plenty of side dishes; my favorite being the pickled daikon/radish. Kimchee was spot on spicy. Service is quick and friendly; dishes reasonably priced considering quality of food. I'd go back as well as recommending this restaurant.

Fantastic service and really good food. High quality of meat. It is a bit on the pricey side. I do wish they gave more of a selection of ban chan. But other than that the food and service is excellent and I would eat here again.

Best Korean BBQ in Edmonton, hands down. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay. We paid $500 for 8 people, includes 2 bottles of wine, but holy we were stuffed. The meat was amazing, can't wait to go back again.

Korean BBQ! heard a lot of mix review of this place. Would like to say the quality of meat is very good here, but they are a bit pricy compared to other Korean bbq in YEG. We made reservation at 6pm on a Friday and we are happy we did! when we got there it was not too busy but give it 15-30 min and it was full! They offer set meals which looks very attractive but you don't get options! The set meals are either all beef or all pork.... I want both! so the set menu does not attract me at all! Also i did the math on what you get and it is the same price if you ordered separately. I could be wrong. Instead we ordered 2 beef dishes and one pork dish, two mains and one side. With each meat dish it comes with onion and one king mushroom for you the grill. For the beef we love the short rib B2, the marinate was flavourful and you have to give it a bit of a char and it is perfection! For the pork we got P5, thin slice of pork belly, awesome with lettuce and some small sides. When we got our meat we found out it does not come with rice, if you want rice you should order a soup main. For the side we tried the kim chi dumpling and it was good! didn't have too much kim chi taste but was good overall. The cold noodle we order was very refreshing and would order this again on a hot day! Side dishes, salad, and lettuce are unlimited refills without any questions. They also have a service button to get their attention! They get busy but when you press the button someone will help you right away! Overall for the 4 of us, the bill came to $130 before tip. We all came out full and happy... and smelling like bbq.

The rich scent of bbq meat draws you into the door like a siren's song. That said, bring along a coat and wear an outfit that washes readily as you, your hair and all your clothes will smell of delicious delicious BBQ meat when you leave. A medium BBQ grill is inset into each table to facilitate grilling, with warm woods, dark accents lending a welcoming feel. The resturant is kid friendly, but as the BBQ grill is open to air and insert into center of table, would be wise for any parent to keep little fingers and any horseplay far from the grill. Service is friendly, informative and super efficient. The resturant is owned by same owner as the Korean resturant Dookbaeki attached to the back, share a kitchen and subsequently, many cooked items from its sister restaurant is available here. Since it was just the two of us plus our little one, we got the 2 person BBQ combo and steamed dumplings. We started with a simple green salad dressed with a tangy raspberry vinaigrette. The combo included a large platter of assorted cuts of beef and a slab of prime rib steak to be grilled and served as it or dressed up with a myriad of toppings like jalapeno, shaved garlic, onion salad, and sauces: soy mayo, sweet chili, sesame with salt flakes, Ssamjang - mixture of Gochujang(Korean red pepper paste) and Doenjang (Korean soybean paste) and is absolutely delicious!!! Its also not as crazy spicy as it normally is at other restaurants which is a nice change to taste the sauce vs uaving your entire palate set on fire. Feel free to wrap the grilled meat in some romaine lettuce plus/minus grilled veges (onion, king mushroom, or marinated raw onion salad), toppings and sauces and repeat until full! Make sure you use the disposable wooden chopsticks to handle the raw meat and the metal tongs for flipping the grilling meat so you minimize cross contamination. We went with the Korean bean curd soup which was chock full of mushrooms, earthy, savory and a bit of heat from some sliced jalapenos. The steamed egg was interesting and the unique taste grew on us as we ate more of it. The egg mixture is steamed in a hot stone bowl, so it takes on a charcoal flavor infused throughout it as it continues to get heated by the stone bowl. We never did see where the beef sausage went as I think the waitstaff forgot to bring it out, but we were pretty full and didnt remember it was part of the combo until we were waddling out the door. Maybe we'll have a chance to try the sausage next time. But we'll bring more friends and family so we can try a bigger selection of the menu... and wearing looser clothing lol!!

The food was delicious, we went for Valentine's Day. The staff was great as well, I just with the interior was a tad nicer.

The food was extremely average tasting, with incredibly high prices for what you're getting! We are from Calgary and thought this would be a good place to try (since we have 2 young toddlers). The service was good, but here are the negatives: - the meat for grilling was not seasoned or marinated, and the sauces for dipping were bland. The meat option we ordered was $85 and it was definitely not worth that amount for the quantity and quality of meat included and the lack of taste. - we ordered a dolsot bibimbap with beef and received only the vegetable bibimbap. We advised our server, who was apologetic and said he could make us a new one with beef. We said it was fine, thinking they would at least charge us only the vegetable bibimbap (since the beef version cost more). They still charged us the beef bibimbap but I didn't realize it until after we already paid the bill. - they charged an automatic 15% gratuity because we had 7 people in total; however, 2 of the 7 were toddlers and sat in high chairs. We were also not advised of the automatic gratuity and were given no option but to pay it. I'm sure there are excellent Korean restaurants to eat at in Edmonton, but this unfortunately, is not one of them. Please save your money and go elsewhere!

Very good food, but 2 problems: (1) way over-priced, (2) you and your clothing will end up smelling like grease (a consequence of BBQing indoors). I will not return.

Food is yummy, a bit pricey. Still love to go there every now and then. I will probably go more often if they have discount or special.

Yook hwe, Seafood pancake, gyeranjjim, kimchi jjigae, lots of meats This place is taking up alot of my FB and IG feed and it looked so fuggin good and it definitely is good but worth the price....idk. Had the yook hwe, and while it looked kinda fucking gross, it was so damn good. Had some pears to add some flavor with the yolk and raw beef but damn, what a good dish. Seafood pancake was really good here. Like every bite had seafood in it, it was something you always expect and this place actually delivered. Gyeranjjim was ok, good filler for all the meats. It was just egg steamed in those small pots, like custard with scallions on top. The kimchi jjigae was hot and wasn't as flavorful as I expected. Kinda tasted, to me at least, to be on the tomatoey side? Idk. Expensive though for a small soup/stew. All the cuts of meat provided were pretty tasty, if cooked right. Pro Tip, the middle part of the grill is the coolest so put all the cooked meats there. Also bring a friend who likes to cook the meat for you. Along with the assortment of meat there was sides for dipping the meat, but my fave is salt. The banchan was also free so eating all the kimchi was good times along with the nonstop lettuce for making lettuce wraps. Located on Calgary trail near 23rd ave, this place is going to be pretty packed for a while. Service is standard Korean, press the call button, and someone shows up. While most of the cooked dishes were above average, the pricing on the raw meat was a little pricey. The quality is definitely there but I'm pretty amazed how people enjoy cooking their own food for a lofty price (hot pot and korean bbq). That being said if you're just out to eat a bunch of good meat and don't have to cook it, there are brazilian bbqs that are much cheaper and offer AYCE. Service was great. The cost is a little bit pricey but the food is worth it. Great for a date night and you can show off your cooking skill which basically you don't need. Love the egg dish that came with the combo and that a must have. Too bad it only open in the evening.

The prices are quite expensive. Most of the meats are plain and not marinated, except a couple of them which taste great. However, the sauces that are given are not good at all, compared to other Korean bbq restaurants. Their is a small plate with the sauce.. 1 which is an oily based sauce, the other is just salt, and the last one is on the sweeter side. I'm a critic with the sauces because that's the major plus when you dip the meat in the sauce. The soup is lacking flavour, as well as the steamed egg.I've been to many Korean bbq restaurants and this one is probably my least favourite. One is the pricing, sauces, meats, and side dishes. Prices are unreasonable. Side dishes aren't the greatest. I know Edmonton doesn't have that many good Korean bbq places. But for the prices of this place I don't believe it's worth your money. You could go to gyu-kaku and get a great bbq fix! I would rate the corn cheese a 3/10.. had far better.

Total rip off! We ordered the combo 2C which was suppose to feed 3-4 people for $160.00. I suppose we would have left feeling full if we were all on Weight Watchers. The combo came with one plate of meat along with 2 pieces of short ribs which was brought out to us on another plate. They wrapped the 6 inches of short rib meat around a big piece of bone to make it look like you were getting a big slab of meat. I have to admit this is a genius marketing and plating technique from the restaurant. We also received a small bowl of soup, good enough for 2 people, a small salad which everyone had 6 pieces of lettuce each and a bowl of steamed eggs which was way over cooked and cooked over too high a temperature because Asian steamed eggs are suppose to be smooth in texture like a creme caramel and a pale yellow in color. The steamed eggs we received were rough in texture, blue in color and tasted like the burnt bits on our grill after we had finished grilling. I'm still not sure why the eggs tasted like that. The combo did not come with any steamed rice which we thought was odd because Korean entrees usually come with rice so we had to order 2 bowls of steamed rice for $2.00 each which the server did not bring out to us until we asked for it after numerous attempts to get her attention. Aside from the steamed eggs tasting burnt, everything else tasted ok but not memorable enough to make anyone at my table recommend this restaurant to any of our friends and family nor would any of us want to give this restaurant a second try. None of us felt we had a good meal at the end of the evening. Our experience may have been better if the service we received was not so lacking. You have to ring the bell at your table to get your server's attention. Sometimes she would answer our call and come over to check on our table while at other times she would ignore us all toghether. At one point during our meal we had to push the bell 4 times until she finally came over and refilled our water after we asked her to. I feel if you don't plan on checking on your guests too often during their meal then maybe the restaurant can provide their patrons with a bigger jug of water to start with. The water jug they gave us held 3 cups of water at most. I guess we were suppose to take small sips slowly over our entire meal. No one ever asked us how our meal was and I don't think our server cared about us at all since the restaurant was adding a 15% gratuity to our check. Our server was neither friendly nor rude but rather just plain indifferent. A simple smile can go along way to make someone feel like they are welcomed at your restaurant and smiles are free.
