Ordered item as Xmas present £95 Received message to say item was cancelled as unavailable. Why sell it then. Money came out quick enough, but up to 5 days for a refund. Leaving it too late to purchase item elsewhere before Christmas.

Dissapointing experience. I ordered a pair of shoes and when they arrived today a completely different pair was in the box. Trying to get hold of customer services is impossible. I've now got to go through the faff of sending them back and wait two weeks for a refund. Very frustrating.

I ordered 3 items that totalled over £100 worth of clothing. After missing the original delivery date as I was working, I rearranged the delivery for a time I was in and low and behold the delivery time arrived late. I then tracked my delivery to see if they had left it with a neighbour (as requested) or had taken it to a collection office. Neither was the case as my order said it was on it's way back to the hipstore! I called customer service (spending half an hour on hold) asking when I can expect my delivery and was told I would not receive it as it is being returned therefore will be processed by the warehouse. I asked if I could re order the items in which I was told the items were sold out! I then suggested as I know there is a ready made package with my items, name and address ready to be sent can you re-post it? which I got the reply "that's not our process". Extremely dissatisfied by the experience and frankly the service was useless. Very disappointing as I've never had such issues with the hipstore before but I think I will steer clear next time and save myself the hassle.

I just purchased what are probably the most expensive boots I’ve ever bought, only to find that the laces are too short to even thread through properly. When I called the store, they simply pushed me onto customer services—who don’t answer calls or emails. The store itself shows no concern either. To make matters worse, I can’t even wear the boots I paid a small fortune for. The service has been terrible—at this point it feels like I should just return them!

In-store is great. Online is appalling. I ordered a pair of Universal Works Oxford pants in mid-June. By early August, the seam across the ass had split (pictured), and obviously I don't really want to expose that for the world! I emailed Hip Store on 18th August, 3rd September and again this morning (18th September). I have had automated responses and nothing else. Absolutely non-existent customer service. Do not buy from them, or if you do, go in-store.

Shop here fairly regularly. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the store environment is pleasant and welcoming. A particular shout out to Noah and one of the Assistant Managers (can't recall his name but he's a top bloke - usually wears a green cap) for their assistance at my last two visits. Thanks guys 🤝

FAULTY ITEM AND NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Faulty item and non-existent customer service from the online team. It seems the JD take over has really made a pig's ear of this judging by the rest of the recent reviews. We'll likely soon be flooded out with 5 star bot ratings, but until then, I'll be contacting Trading Standards with all the accumulated evidence.

Like many others who have left a review, my experience has been terrible. The sent me a completely different product to the one I ordered, BUT the worst part is that someone had put the right product label and stuck it over the wrong product label, which had clearly been done on purpose (see picture)! Shocking service and won't be ordering from here again
