I really couldn’t recommend this store more for their Polaroid SX-70 repair service. They’re located in downtown Toronto, and it’s 125 CAD + a 25 dollar inspection fee. For reference, Retrospekt and MiNT charge $400++.
I brought them in an SX70 camera that was effectively dead. They repaired my camera for practically 1/4 the price I saw online anywhere else, and converted it to type 600 film. I’m pretty sure this is the only store in Canada that will repair these 50+ year old cameras. That takes serious skill.
The repair was timely (took about a week and a half), well executed, and they were professional in all communications. They explained to me exactly which component in my camera had broken and the repairs they did to fix it.
Thank you for saving my camera!!! To anyone else: come here, you won’t regret it. PS they also had an extensive collection of many 600, folding (SX70, 680/690) and modern instant cameras.
