Fantastic service. They noticed I’d put my payment through twice accidentally the night before and sorted it out the next morning. The Forbes cardigan with scarf I purchased is superb quality and beautiful. Worth every single penny. Will be happy to order again from this fab shop.

I had opted for my order to be delivered, however couriers at this time of the year can be unreliable therefore I popped in to the store to see if it was possible just to pick my parcel up and the staff could not have been more helpful, as always whenever I shop in Frontiers the staff are always friendly, helpful and greet you with a smile. A special thank you to Kim for letting me know the coat I was going to buy was going to be in the sale two days later saving me quite a lot of money. Best wishes to all the staff for 2026 xxx

Was excited to visit this shop with my partner and went into the menswear section over the road before this where we had a lovely relaxed shopping experience. Sadly, we didn’t have the same experience in the woman’s section. It has a brilliant array of clothing from brands you don’t normally see in Scotland, but we were immediately met by a frosty reception from one of the shop attendants who asked if we needed any help (in the least helpful way). She stared us down the whole time we were in the shop (despite there being others in the shop) and blocked us from looking at racks of clothing by noticeably standing in the way of them. We felt very singled out. Despite this, I took a couple of photos of some items of clothing to send to my mum as my birthday is coming up and I thought I could ask for something in this shop, I was then asked very bluntly if I was taking photos and I said yes, not realising there was anything wrong with doing this. The shop lady angrily explained that they don’t let people take photos because sometimes they’ll go and search for the clothing for cheap somewhere else. I’d genuinely never thought of doing that until she said it and due to the uncomfortable and rude experience we had in the shop I now will be purchasing the items that I liked for much less, direct from the seller. I would suggest if you don’t want photos taken in the shop, then put some very evident signs up about this. I’m a small business myself and understand the frustrations of it but there’s a lot to be said for treating people with kindness and not assuming the worst of them. You don't survive 30 years in business, unless you know a thing or two about knowing a thing or two. Jane and Kim and the team at Frontiers Women are the BEST IN THE GAME. They have probably forgotten more than most people know about this industry, and to read some of the nonsense reviews on this platform is laughable! The store is great, the owners are great, the team is great and the selections are great - need I say more? A great place to visit if you are in Edinburgh!

I had a voucher to spend from my husband and had a lovely shopping experience today. The two sales assistants were patient, friendly and happy to offer advice. I am delighted with my new Scottish Wool cardigan. I might have to go back for some other bits too.

It pains me to say that this used to be my favorite boutique in Edinburgh, and I was a loyal customer, spending a minimum of £400 over the past year. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. The platinum blonde middle-aged attendant’s rude behavior and the unfavorable changes in the shopping experience have tarnished what was once a cherished shopping destination for me. She abruptly took away the jumpsuit I tried before I had finished taking my own trousers on, making me feel quite offended. She did ask me if I was done trying them on, but didn't ask me if I wanted the jumpsuit. When I attempted to communicate that I wished to purchase the outfit despite some flaws, her attitude was condescending, implying a lack of respect for my purchasing capability. This shop is lovely, and the selection is great. Although a friendly lady greeted me warmly when I entered, encountering such a rude staff member saddened me, and I'm hesitant to visit again. I believe it's reasonable for staff to check on customers during the extended process of trying on clothes, but barging in before the customer is fully dressed is clearly unreasonable. It's offensive, and her attitude shows a complete lack of respect for a customer's right to try on clothes undisturbed. I respect that this store's pricing is not low, which aligns well with its selection, and I find it affordable. However, the condition is that the quality of the clothing matches the price, and the design and service are satisfactory. There are other customers in the reviews who share similar experiences with me, and I believe this is not baseless. My previous shopping experiences were positive, but today's was exceptionally poor. I hope you take this seriously; otherwise, you might lose potential customers.

The sale assistant with peach hair has set a new standard for awful customer service: she combines a lack of assistance, rudeness and cutting remarks. The shop is lovely, however, this obnoxious individual made it a truly terrible experience, making me feel like by visiting the shop she was a doing me massive favour, never offered help nor greeted me, left a degrading comment on my appearance and implied that I’m unable to afford the items in the shop. It felt like a scene from “Pretty Woman”. I wish that I could give this place zero starts.
