"Just like Bonito, Bagatelle is where to go when you want a dinnertime scene. It’s always packed, and always defined by a DJ. Stay late enough and people will start dancing on tables, champagne bottles in hand."

Went on a Saturday night. Everyone wears white, so be mindful of that so you are properly dressed. They will still let you in even if you aren’t in all white, but it’s not the place to break the dress code. We had a large party of 6 which then turned to 10 and they accommodated us. We had the lamb(very good) steak (it was okay) carpaccio, burrata, green beans, raviolis. It was all pretty good. The lamb was favorite. They had a dj and also a performer (singer) who was incredible. She sang right on tune songs like “dance with somebody” and some 80s. The service was decent. Although I will say the server was in such a rush to clear the table (within 15 minutes of the food coming out) so they can get the tables cleared for people to order bottles and dance, that she literally grabbed my plate from me as I was cutting my food. I was obviously pissed as she didn’t even ask if she could clear my plate and i was in the middle of eating. She apologized after I smacked her hand. The party scene was there. Nothing crazy, I think the party was better at other restaurants.

Bagatelle is just overrated. We've been several times in various locations and St Barth location is simply disappointing. The food had a nice presentation, but our entire party agreed that only one one food item we ordered was good. Scallops might be the worst I've had. Zucchini flower was mediocre. Salad was beautiful but had very little flavor. Foie gras sounded fantastic on the menu, but was entirely bland. A5 filet was the only thing that was decent. The service was attentive but with mostly poor attitude. The dining area is covered but open air and it was extremely hot inside. Definitely high energy and can be a ton of fun if you're willing to look past everything else mentioned.

Bagatelle has an outstanding ambiance, frankly the best on the harbor. The food was really delicious and well executed. Our particular set of orders focused too much on truffle-based dishes, leading to a bit of a monochromatic dinner. The dishes we had were very well executed, but we should have ordered more variety. The Focaccia De Recco appetizer in particular was outstanding. Highly recommend this dish, and then recommend to follow with non-truffle dishes of greater variety. Our service was pleasant. The server was a bit overworked at times, though she was very cheerful. The team worked together fairly well throughout the night.

I never write bad reviews, you can check through my profile, but this was the most unpleasant experience in St. Barth. This is my fifth year coming in a row. They are so pushy and instant on us buying what THEY want (even for food), it made it uncomfortable. No, i don’t think a man in my party to decide what my dish will be for the night, i want to choose for myself. They even DRAGGED my husband to the bottle room, force feed him a shot of tequila and pretty much told him to buy a bottle NOW. I have 15 years of experience in hospitality. Hard sell is not always the move. Management should probably relax a little bit with pushing the staff to meet their “table minimum quota” or make sure you set the minimum bottle spend at booking. They definitely dropped the ball… Needless to say, we will not come back. Plenty of other places offering the same experience.

Went here on our last night in St Barth. Management was incredible and helped us with our reservation despite us having tried multiple times before even through Amex with no luck. He also recommended things to do around the island. The food was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Best dinner party I’ve been to!

We always have the best time at Bagatelle and our most recent visit was no different! One recommendation would be to not come here for dinner. Last year when we came we made that mistake and the dining room started turning into an all out club while we were still waiting on our entrees. This time we ate elsewhere and arrived for drinks and dancing after and that struck the perfect balance. The DJ here plays a great mix of tracks and was also receptive to requests up to a certain point. lol. No trip to St. Barths is complete without dancing at Bagatelle.

This restaurant was amazing. We had such a great time. The food was a 10 out of 10. The drinks, cocktails, vibes, and staff were all on point. We had an incredible time there. It’s a must-go!

We really enjoyed our evening at Bagatelle. We dont care for crowds or the dancing on tables so we got there early to enjoy our meal. Our meal from start to finish was noteworthy! Especially the salad my husband and I shared. Not only was it a work of art, but it actually tasted as good at it looked. The desserts stood out as well!!! We did enjoy (towards the end of our mea) the entertainment ofl watching one waiter turn the music up blaring & then another go & adjust it down. It was amusing! lol Guess they were getting ready for the party!
