Best Western Melbourne City Hotel

For the price it was. Ok and central BUT if you are over 90 kg well, lather up buttercup..you will need too to get through shower door! At best 1/2 metre wide! Bathroom you have to go out too change your mind.. soooo small. I've had bigger on the cruise ship. One elevator working other has been down for 5 months as far as we can work out. You get what you pay for rule applies. Staff were great.

I stay here regularly when I need to stay in Melbourne for the night. I stayed with my family in two rooms on this occassion. This is hands down the best value for money accommodation you can get. ||Clean, comfortable, quiet, central and helpful staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else due to the value of this accommodation. They're consistently good here. I know this as I have stayed here many times.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western. The room is clean and the staffs are all helpful, patient and friendly. The room is a bit small however, I can’t complain. Its only 3mins walk to Southern cross station. And location right in the city. Finding food and exploring around Melbourne City was no hassle for me!

Conveniently located close to Southern Cross station and tram lines this was a good choice for city accommodation. The room and bijou ensuite were very clean and well appointed. While it was an internal room the lighting was excellent complimented with a sky light. The shower door is small and may pose a problem for people with a larger frame.

Perfect stay for a simple trip. Stayed at the single bed room. The room is small but just enough for my short stay. Room was clean & it has everything you expected for a budget hotel: Tea/coffee, milk on the fridge and toileteries. Wifi speed is good for browsing (Approx 40-50Mbps)The only downside is: Their hotel key is using old technology and easily demagnetised. I happen to put it next to my Airpods and it loses the magnetism.

I’ve just checked into my room and have been greeted by a seriously unenthusiastic male whom couldn’t care less for his guests. The room was clean and tidy and perfect for what I needed. Best western, not the best first impression. At least the bed is comfy!

Great location - perfect room for 1 night stay. The staff were so kind, we got to check in at 10.45am which is almost unheard of! My only complaint would be that there were no windows in the room & there was an annoying noise whenever someone was in the shower. For 1 night stay this wasn’t really an issue and the positives outweighed the negatives. Would stay again due to the great location!

Really enjoyed our 1 night Stay at this Hotel. Arrived several hours early before official Check In Time and the very kind guy on Reception allowed us to go straight to the Room as it was ready. The location is very good, 10 min walk to Southern Cross Station, Southbank, Tram Stop etc. Our Room was very quiet (internal room) away from the front of the building. The Hotel is not 5 Star (nor does it pretend to be) but was very clean and comfortable, Price was great.! Would definitely stay here again.
