AMAZING BRUNCH PRO I never have been to a better Brunch place. Coffee is well done and with special options. Food has a lot of layers and is made with passion. All three dishes were well balanced and so yummy. Definitely worth every Cent. Staff is working well together. CON Lipstick on the coffee cup. Please clean more carefully in future!

Highly recommend! Good music, good vibe, good food! Got here at 6pm, ordered turkey breast Benedict and a coconut water with matcha foam which is recommended by the nice guy! Turns out he has good taste hahah the drink is soooo good. May come back again this week if possible to try some other goodies!

3,8/5 The Folks is a small breakfast spot tucked into the heart of Lisbon. The service is friendly, the dishes arrive promptly and yet, something’s missing. It’s not that the food isn’t good; it’s simply… fine. Competent. But in a city that hums with cafés serving character and soul on every plate, mere competence feels like a missed opportunity. At these prices, breakfast deserves a little more than just “fine.”

Food was so good. I had the raspberry pancakes and it was so nice, fluffy, not too sweet, just perfect. My partner had the truffle eggs Benedict and I managed to steal one bite because it was so good they didn’t initially want to share 😆. It was really good, nice truffle flavor, great bread and eggs perfectly cooked. Also the tiramisu coffee was sooo yummy. The vibe is nice, not too loud. I highly recommend.

Wonderful people, good coffee! It is a very popular spot and really busy, so we decided not to take brunch here at the time. Just a coffee. It was nicely made and everything there was very kind. In my hurry to leave, I accidentally forget a toy that I had brought, and was many blocks away when I remembered leaving it on the bench inside the packed café. In other places and other cities, that would have meant it was almost certainly stolen right away. But the employees there took it, and put it aside safely. When I came back, it was right there waiting and I thank them so much for that! Truly nice folks!

The Folks is yet another lovely café in Lisbon! They have multiple locations and the service was great! The location we went to had a huge patio space that was perfect for breakfast! I got the avocado toast and lemonade and both were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend

What a fabulous spot! Their service is absolutely delightful, the coffee was full of flavour (milk textured perfectly), and having followed their recommendation on food I was not disappointed. If your in Lisbon give them a go, hopefully you'll be as delighted as I was ☺️

The Folks is a great spot to kickstart your day. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome right away. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a nice overall vibe that works well for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The food here is genuinely good — fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions that will definitely keep you full for hours. What really stood out for me was their specialty coffee. It’s clear they take it seriously, offering a variety of quality beans and brewing them to perfection, which is a real treat for coffee lovers. If I had to point out one small thing, it would be the morning music choice — rap music blasting at breakfast time might not be everyone’s cup of tea (or coffee), and I personally would have preferred something softer to match the morning mood. That said, it didn’t overshadow the overall experience. All in all, The Folks is a solid choice for a hearty breakfast, great coffee, and a friendly start to your day.

- [ ] I visited The Folks on a Wednesday around 11 am. I had first walked over to their other location, but the kitchen there was closed for renovations so they recommended I head to this one instead if I wanted to order a dish. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but I only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The interior had a cool design & a lively, social atmosphere--perfect for brunch with friends. I ordered their syrniki. The presentation was stunning & the dish itself was delicious. I loved the mango twist they added to the classic recipe. They also have a great selection of specialty coffees--I unfortunately didn't order one this time. I'd definitely love to visit again to try more of their dishes & drinks!

Would love to come back to The Folks! The line to dine in was long but I got a Tiramisu latte to go and it was delicious! I'm not normally a coffee drinker but the sweetness of this latte was just right and gave me a perfect pick me up on the walk toward Alfama. The restaurant is in a cute alleyway and the seating is gorgeous, I would love to come back one day and try the food!

This cafe has a super fun interior space to enjoy your coffee and share lunch. The focaccia sandwich had fresh ingredients and soft, seasoned focaccia holding it all together. The coconut flat white had a good taste but unfortunately had quite a bit of grittiness (coffee grounds? powdered coconut?) that made it hard to drink.

We had just gotten off the plane, and were in need of caffeine and a bite of food. The Folks was an excellent choice for both. This little spot is surprisingly small, and punches way above its weight in the quality of its food. They clearly take their coffee program seriously as well, and all the addicts with me were extremely pleased with their choices (I don't drink coffee). I knew the day was going to be long and full of rich food, so I ordered the greek yogurt with caramelized banana and fresh berries. Around the table, there were some benedicts chosen, an avocado toast, and the turkish eggs. Every single dish was beautiful and tasty. It's a coffeeshop, but back in the kitchen they are taking the time and care to take food from simple to excellent. Someone blowtorched my banana for gods' sakes. If I wasn't on vacation and into exploring the rest of the city, I would've gladly eaten here a couple more times.

Delicious food and great service. Charming alley that is busy and with a good vibe but not overly crowded Had a huge turkey focaccia big enough for four! And also shared beetroot goats cheese salad. Delicious carrot cake to finish and excellent coffee. Very happy and sated.

My friend and I loved this brunch spot, but we did not have a good experience with the service. The server sat us and did not return with menus, after 20 minutes we had to walk up the counter and get menus for ourselves even after seeing her sit multiple other parties with menus. Other than the service the food was delicious and very beautifully plated.

We got the Lavender & Rose latte, as well as the Coconut Oat latte, and both were exceptional. Cute spot! Tight space, nice people, would come back.

Smallish brunch place in the historic center of Lisboa. Outstanding food. I had the salmon Benedict and it was perhaps the best ever. Incredible quality
