Cochran Mill Park

Signs weren't always clear map could be hard to read just pay attentions to trails. Male bathroom needed aloy of help and cleaning/ unclogging. The nature aspect was nice we went in November, saw one corn snake, and two armadillos saw some med to large size size cat scat. Neat trip the waterfalls were kind of dry fun for rock hopping more.

Cochran Mill Park is a serene location where you will find peace and tranquility. We hiked along the Orange trail, rested on the rocks and listened to the water. It was my first time visiting this park and walking the trails. I will definitely return. My friend goes there all the time for a peaceful walk in nature. It’s a must see and experience!

Beautiful place. Great for hiking. Love the waterfalls. Easy to get turned around on the trails if you're not careful.

I guess when I went the water fall was drying up or something. That main waterfall 5 mins away from the parking was sad. But overall the hike was nice and easy. The time I went was a lot of large spiders on every path. And the signs were very unclear on what was what but not a big deal. I had my 7 month old on my back and she was just very relaxed the whole time. I walked the whole trail and didn’t see the waterfall others are posting with the rushing of water.

super beautiful spot! waterfall was breathtaking! lots of different trails, but i would be careful walking through them during the summer as they get tight, and a little overgrown as snakes were spotted on the trails and under rocks.

Beautiful park with two different sections. Picnic areas with playground and restrooms on one side. Hiking trails and waterfall on the other. The waterfall is beautiful and views from the trails are really nice. Huge trees all over the park and seems to be the remains of an old mill by the waterfall and bridge. Very peaceful on both sides of the park. Saw people fishing in the creek and a nice swimming hole at the base of the falls.

First time hiking here and I loved everything about it! Parts of the hike was a lil intimidating but keep going cause it’s well worth it! So breathe taking! The waterfall is the cherry on top! You have to experience it for yourself!

Great place for an easy hike, or make it more difficult with one of the longer trails. The trails are well marked by color. Be sure to check out the map in the parking area before going on the hike so you now which trail you want to take!

After a few scrolls on All Trails I stumbled upon Cochran Mill Green Loop. Cochran Mill Green Loop was easy to find as it sits right off the main roadway. The parking is ample (and paid) and has space for horse trailer parking as well. As I arrived at the main area I took a moment to review the board. The board educated me that there were multiple trail options. Also, the routes vary by skill level and miles. I was so excited. As today was my non-gym day I decided to go for the Yellow Trail as it is Moderate in effort and is 3-4 miles. I was slightly confused at first, however, there was an entry to the trail towards the back of the parking area. Once I found it, it was all go from there. LoL! The trail was easy to follow as the path is easily identifiable. The woods are quiet and personal. There was a sense of peace as I was walking through the woods. The different levels of elevation provide for an enhanced view of the general area. I'm talking absolutely gorgeous. The spots of water provide a moment of serenity as you get lost in the sounds of water going down the stream. The path was fun as it was up, down, and all around. I had a blast. Truly, a blast. As I was getting to the end I got lost. lol. Thanks to All Trails for tracing my route as I was able to retrace my steps. Next time I'll pay better attention to where I parked so I can know where to go back to. Ha!! Today was amazing. Great air. Great trail. Great time.
