Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse

We were lucky enough to be invited by friends to attend the cheese making class at Bobolink dairy with Jonathan. What an awesome experience. From bringing in the cows in the morning, to witnessing the incredibly natural process they employ to make cheese from freshly milked cows was wonderful. Jonathan is an amazing wealth of knowledge and we really enjoyed hearing all of his stories. The cheese 'snack/tasting' including homemade salamis was delicious and we enjoyed meeting and talking with Nina as well. It's a little out of the way, but totally worth the visit. We loved their attitude towards the environment, animal care, life. Please check it out for yourself.

By far the best sharp cheddar I've ever had. And i've been on a journey for the sharpest cheddar I can find for 25 years now. From the lovely drive to the farm, to the greeting we got from Lorraine the farm dog, Bobolink Dairy is a wonderful experience. 11 stars!

I just completed a bread baking course with Nina, and I’m absolutely blown away by everything I learned. She’s a true expert, with a wealth of knowledge on sourcing grains, and her techniques were incredible. The bread she makes is hands down the best I’ve had in New Jersey, it's the closest to the European-style bread I’m used to. The cheese tasting and selection of meats and dairy were fantastic too. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in artisan baking or quality, authentic food!

Stopped here on a Saturday morning. I guess I got there a little too early because there wasn’t a huge amount of goods available but I did snag some smoked ham & gabagool (both fantastic!), some Amish blue cheese (amazing) a quart of chocolate milk (great) and the duck fat ciabatta is excellent for sandwiches. Also if you get a chance, try the chocolate cherry bread. Delicious!

It's the real deal here! Pasture raised beef, veal, and pork. House made cheeses that are to die for! Lots of events, music/ dinner paired with a farm tour. Cheese and bread making classes. And did I mention the amazing bread. So many different kinds of delicious bread! Give them a try!

They make their own brick oven bread that's ABSOLUTELY Delicious. They also make their own Cheeses in their cheese CAVE. My favorite is their 2 year old Sharp cheese. They have other cheeses also , and if your a 1st time customer you can have a tasting of ALL their cheeses. BTW their bread is made on Monday , Wednesday and Friday. Google their address. Don't miss out on this Hunterdon county Gem .

Bought some cheese at the Frenchtown festival today and it was great. We had a great conversation with one of the owners and she went into great detail about the farm and their process, so and authentic. Hope to visit the farm soon.
