Captain Taina

Amazing do this trip even if its the only thing you do on Moorea! Lovely captain and guide. The snorkeling sites were brill, saw so many turtles I lost count, then onto another stop where we saw the underwater statues, then a stop to see the sting rays and black tip reef sharks and then to lunch which was beautiful the food was perfection! I was so lucky there were only a few of us in the group and it was the nicest bunch of people. Clem our guide spoke French and English which was great. I loved my day and took so many pics! The captain was so nice he even took us back to the turtle spot so we could see them from the glass bottom of the boat.

Today, my daughter, half brother and I had a wonderful experience with Captain Mana and Guide Moana. We loved the snorkeling opportunities, seeing turtles, shark, manta rays as well as eagle rays and many colorful fish! Moana and Mana were really funny, entertaining and taught us a lot about the island and the Polynesian culture including some Polynesian words. The traditional lunch on the motu was also a plus. We loved everything about the day and highly recommend this excursion to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This was a highlight of our trip to MO’OREA! The Captain Taina crew was awesome and made the day just amazing. They were fun, respectful, and knew just where to go to see turtles, rays and the underwater statue art. And then the lunch at the private motu was the cherry on top - some of the absolute best food we had on the island, yummy rum with juice and just gorgeous fun. If you’re looking for a lagoon tour on Mo’orea, this is the best one.

This is a MUST, the crew were amazing and the experience is fantastic for a family. 9 of us had the amazingly knowledgeable Clem (marine biologist), got to see turtles, rays, swim and feed rays and sharks. Lunch was fantastic on the private motu (island) with an open bar and chill vibes. We had a blast!

We had an amazing time on Captain Taina’s full-day lagoon tour (10am–3pm). The staff was super friendly, lunch was delicious, and the whole experience was unforgettable. We saw a variety of fish, a few turtles, baby sharks, and even touched stingrays. The glass-bottom boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the food cleaning at the Motu (island) was very entertaining for them too. Special thanks to Clem, who made snorkeling safe and fun even though I don’t know how to swim — he made me feel completely comfortable in the water, which was huge for me as a non-swimmer. Highly recommend Captain Taina’s tours for families and anyone wanting a safe, fun way to explore Moorea’s lagoon.

We were delivered to the location by local van service. Greetings once we arrived was quick and off we went to our boats. Snorkeling started within minutes. We saw lots of fish and several turtles as we moved with the current, super fun and easy. Lunch on the private island was good. Cleaning your own dishes with the baby sharks was entertaining.

Best experience we could have hoped for! Loved our crew, the tour and our incredible lunch on your private motu. Who knew Stingrays could be so friendly! A beautiful and memorable day. Thank you!

We had an incredible day out with captain Taina ! Our half day included snorkelling with turtles,sharks, rays,underwater tikis and many cool fish . Our guides had a great sense of humour and were very enthusiastic with lots of knowledge making our day fun and entertaining!! The water colour was also something you must see. Definitely highly recommend doing !
