Solid 4.5 star experience here! Interior is very clean and zen, food was delicious and reasonably priced, service was great, and location is right in the center of the Huashan Culture Center a short walk from the parking lot. We got different set menus and everyone said their food was delicious! I got the pork patty with egg and it was super tender and flavorful, paired well with the rice. The salad was very fresh and the dressing also delicious! The portion size was just right. Each set menu is about US$10 and well worth it! This restaurant is attached to the store, and my review is only for the restaurant / food.

4.6/5 This is one of my favorite place for Japanese lunch set in Taiwan. Be aware this is more on the pricey side compare to the portion you would get in Taiwan, but coming from America and the high quality of the ingredients, I think it justifies the price. The portion is just right as well if you get the set. Must get! The Karaage set. The fried chickens (karaage) here is so amazing. Super tender and juicy inside and crispy outside. Flavors are delicate and light but it's definitely not blend! The sides are a bit small but it was just enough for me. You do get a one time free refill of rice and miso soups for the set though. The rice is cooked to perfection. With my three times visit of this place, I would say the fish and other dishes are great too but karaage is the one to get! Hojicha ice cream is pretty delicious as well.
